- threads have to be made at its opening and at its closure cap, and furthermore, when the cap is screwed on, a careful sealing of the membrane between the cap and the end of the tube must be made.
- Access to the sample taken with such a tube ultimately requires unscrewing the cap again, which is cumbersome and time consuming; in addition, it cannot be determined on the tube whether an unwanted opening has been carried out.
- a flange is provided in the cap on which the closure element is fixed by means of the heat-sealable layer, the sealing membrane being outside the closure element but still inside the cap.
- the object of the invention is to eliminate the drawbacks in the tubes of the latter types and to create a closure element which is easy to manufacture and handle.
- this object is achieved in that the closure element closes the cap at its upper end by means of the heat-sealable layer and that the sealing membrane is arranged within the closure element.
- the cap has a closed bottom part. In this way, the bottom part can support the desired press fit of the cap on the tube.
- Another feature of the invention provides that a sleeve is arranged within the inner cap shell, which receives the sealing membrane. This training enables a substantial reduction in the volume of the sealing membrane consisting of expensive material.
- a final feature of the invention is that on the inside of the inner jacket or sleeve protrusions, e.g. V-ribs are arranged, which engage in the sealing membrane.
