Abstract

Bei einer Anlage mit einem Vorwärmofen (1) und einem damit kombinierten Aufwärmofen (2) ist zwischen der Einlaufseite des Aufwärmofens (2) und der Auslaufseite des Vorwärmofens (1) eine Transporteinrichtung (5) und weiters eine Rauchgas vom Aufwärmofen (2) zum Vorwärmofen (1) führende Rauchgasableitung (23) vorgesehen.
Um wahlweise kaltes Stahlgut oder Stahlgut mit höherer Temperatur einsetzen zu können, ist die Transporteinrichtung (5, 6) einerseits vom Vorwärmofen (1) her und andererseits von außen her beschickbar, ist der Vorwärmofen (1) mit mehreren Hochgeschwindigkeitsbrennern (7) ausgestattet und mündet die Rauchgasleitung (23) in einen den Brennstrahl der Hochgeschwindigkeitsbrenner (7) umgebenden Bereich der Austrittsöffnungen der Hochgeschwindigkeitsbrenner (7), wobei durch die Saugwirkung der Hochgeschwindigkeitsbrenner (7) heißes Rauchgas aus dem Aufwärmofen (2) ansaugbar ist.
