Definitions

  • the invention relates to a suspended ceiling with a supporting profile that extends in the longitudinal direction and has a latching joint that is open at the bottom, and attached to it, in particular square cassettes, that have upstanding holding flanges with latching points or the like on their edges facing the supporting profiles and running parallel to them in the position of use
  • a swivel mounting that allows the cassette to be folded down to open the assembly openings, the folded cassette hanging on the support profiles by means of its swivel mounting
  • the cassette has, at least in the region of its pivot bearing, an upstanding end flange which extends at right angles to the support profile and has a cutout at the ends facing the support profiles.
  • a special joint piece is provided for the pivoting mounting of the hinged cassettes, which on the one hand is riveted to the upstanding cassette edge and on the other hand has to be pivotally attached to the support profile.
  • This hinge piece must be angular so that the end flange of the foldable cassette receives sufficient distance from the neighboring cassette during the folding movement around the two pivot points arranged at a distance from one another.
  • an additional part namely the mentioned joint piece, must be attached to the cassette and the support profile, which must also be prepared beforehand.
  • the object is therefore to create a false ceiling of the type mentioned at the outset, in which the manufacture and assembly of the hinged cassettes is simplified, and yet the security against unwanted removal is increased, in particular in the folded position.
  • the solution to this problem consists essentially in the fact that the end flange in the region of its edge facing away from the cassette surface each has a protrusion protruding in one piece against the support profile beyond the cutout and that the support profile has supporting flanges pointing to the side of its locking joint towards the center of the cassette and the cutouts in the position of use overlap the supporting flanges by means of the projections and that the end region of the holding flanges (4) near the hanging cutout (9) with projection (12) also has a cutout (16), so that in the longitudinal direction of the holding flange (4) between the projection (12) and the top of the flange (4), a space for hanging the cassette (3) remains free.
  • each of the projections located on the end flanges on the upper side of the support flange of the support profile passes through the folding of the cassette, so that the cassette then hangs positively on it, but advantageously also in the direction of Carrier profile is displaceable.
  • an unwanted unhooking is practically impossible, which is conceivable if a swivel bearing would be provided within the locking joint.
  • a particularly secure mounting of a folded cassette is obtained if the support flange of the support profile has a free edge at its free edge in the use position and the projection on the cutout of the end flange has a hook shape with an end piece pointing downwards in the use position.
  • This end piece can then come into positive engagement with the edge web of the supporting flange, especially when it is being folded down.
  • the cassette In the folded-down position, the cassette is then sufficiently secured on all sides and cannot even be raised because the cutout would then hit the supporting flange from below.
  • the lateral extension of the projection can namely reach close to the plane in which the holding flange, which is oriented parallel to the profile of the supporting profile, is arranged.
  • the cassette can only be hung in a certain inclined position relative to the supporting profiles, which can hardly be inadvertently taken when folding down, especially since at the same time a lifting movement over the edge web of the supporting flange would also be necessary for hanging in or out.
  • the end region of the Retaining flanges near the insertion cut-out with a projection also have a cutout, so that in the longitudinal direction of the retaining flange between the projection and the top of the retaining flange, an insertion space remains free for the cassette.
  • the cassette is formed from sheet metal and its edge flanges are bent up and the cutouts and the projection are punched out.
  • the cutout on the end flange of the cassette running at right angles to the support profile can be open on the side on the side facing the holding flange below the hook-in projection and on the side opposite this opening can rather have a boundary running to the edge of the flange, from which the hook-in projection against the support profile protrudes. This results in a cut-out with a relatively narrow entry together with the hook-in projection, which, however, expands inside is so that it allows the desired pivoting movements and yet can enclose the supporting flange of the supporting profile in any position by means of its lateral opening.
  • the top of the hanging projection can be flush with the upper edge of the end flange.
  • the hanging projection then represents a continuation of the end flange, which end flange is, however, partially punched out below the projection.
  • An overall ceiling designated 1, shown in a detail in FIG. 1, is essentially formed by suspended support profiles 2, which are better shown in FIGS. 2 to 4.
  • Square cassettes 3 are fastened to these supporting profiles 2 and have upstanding holding flanges 4 with locking points 5, in particular stamped-in locking lugs 5, on their edges facing the supporting profiles 2 and parallel to them in the position of use.
  • the support profiles 2 each have a locking joint 6 which runs in their longitudinal direction, is open at the bottom and narrows at their entry, which can also be seen particularly clearly in cooperation with the locking projection 5 of the holding flange 4 in FIG. 4.
  • At least individual cassettes 3 can be folded down in addition to their latching by means of a pivot bearing to be described in more detail below, as is indicated in FIGS. 1 and 2.
  • a pivot bearing to be described in more detail below, as is indicated in FIGS. 1 and 2.
  • an assembly opening 7 on the suspended ceiling 1 can be opened in order to be able to inspect or repair the installation running above this suspended ceiling 1.
  • the folded-down cassette 3 then hangs on two parallel support profiles 2 by means of its pivot bearing.
  • the end flange 8 in the region of its edge 11 facing away from the cassette surface 10 each has a protrusion 12 which is integrally attached and supports the support profile 2 via the cutout 9.
  • the support profile 2 has laterally its locking joint 6 on the lower edge toward the center of the cassette 3 supporting flanges 13 and the cutouts 9 overlap these supporting flanges 13 in the use position by means of the projections 12.
  • the projection 12 extends over a supporting flange 13 protrudes. This makes it clear that when the retaining flange 4 is disengaged and the resulting partial lowering of the cassette 3, the projection 12 comes to rest on the supporting flange 13 of the supporting profile 2.
  • the cassette can be folded down around the pivot bearing thus formed between the projection 12 and the support flange 13.
  • it can also be moved in an advantageous manner in the longitudinal direction of the support profile 2 and its support flanges 13, so that when they are folded down from the adjacent cassette they can push so far that the folding can be carried out easily and undisturbed.
  • Fig. 4 it can also be seen that the support flange 13 of the support profile 2 has at its free edge an upstanding web 14 and the projection 12 on the cutout 9 of the end flange 8 has a hook shape with an end piece 15 pointing downwards in the use position.
  • this projection 15 can also be bent slightly forward from the plane of the drawing, so that this positive locking is retained even when the cassette is folded down, so that the one-piece pivot bearing according to the invention can be handled particularly well and safely.
  • Fig. 2 it can be seen that the end region of the holding flanges 4 near the hanging cutout 9 with projection 12 also has a cutout 16, so that in the longitudinal direction of the holding flange 4 between the projection 12 and the top of the holding flange 4 there is a free space for the cassette 3 remains.
  • Fig. 2 it is indicated that the flange 4 at a certain inclined position because of the cutout 16 can not yet collide laterally with the support profile 2 and its mounting flange 13, so that in this position the projection 12 can be conveniently brought over this mounting flange 13 if the cassette is to be mounted during assembly or to be removed during any disassembly.
  • the cassette 3 can e.g. B. be formed from sheet metal so that its edge flanges 4 and 8 bent up and the cutouts 9 and 16 and the projection 12 can be punched out.
  • a one-piece cassette 3 can be manufactured in a few work steps, which nevertheless allows pivoting without additional end pieces or the like. Individual parts have to be manufactured and assembled.
  • Fig. 4 it is shown that the cutout 9 on the end flange 8 of the cassette 3, which runs at right angles to the support profile 2, is open laterally on the side facing the holding flange 4 below the hook-in projection 12 and on the side opposite this opening 17 to the edge 11 of the Has flange 8 outward boundary 18, from which the hanging projection 12 protrudes against the support profile 2.
  • the support flange 13 of the holding profile 2 can protrude into this lateral opening 17, which ensures that when the projection 12 is folded down and lowered, it comes to rest on this support flange 13 and together with it can form the pivot bearing for the foldable cassette.
  • the top of the hanging projection 12 is flush with the upper edge 11 of the end flange 8.
  • the projection 12 is a continuation of the end flange 8 and actually arises from the fact that the recess or the cutout 9 is made below the projection 12 in the flange 8.
  • a further embodiment of the invention to improve the holder of the folded cassette could still consist in the fact that a bead (not shown in detail) extends at the side of the end piece 15 at right angles to the edge 11 of the flange 8, into which the raised edge 14 can engage in a form-fitting manner when the cassette is folded down.
