Definitions

  • the invention relates to a drilling device with optional connection of clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation, with an output shaft for the rotary drive of a tool, on the output shaft bevel gears which can be set in opposite rotational movement with toothings turned in the axial direction with respect to one another, the drive shaft having a bevel pinion arranged between the toothings of the two bevel gears .
  • a known drilling device in the form of a hand tool has a manual transmission which, with a uniform direction of motor rotation, allows either clockwise or counterclockwise rotation to be connected to an output shaft.
  • the manual transmission has gearwheels in the form of spur gears, which are rotatably mounted on the output shaft.
  • a drive shaft provides the gears with opposite rotational movement, one gear meshing directly with a ring gear of the drive shaft and the other gear being driven via an intermediate gear.
  • a hand drill with a manual transmission for clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation according to the preamble of the claim is known (DE-A-2 043 805, Fig. 3), in which two bevel gears are fixedly arranged on an output shaft. For mutual engagement with a bevel pinion on the drive side, the bevel gears are axially displaced together with the output shaft.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a drill with a structurally simple solution for the functions clockwise or counterclockwise rotation and switching off the rotary movement.
  • the mutually facing arrangement of the toothing of the bevel gears in conjunction with the toothing of the drive shaft achieves an opposite rotational movement without the need for the arrangement of an intermediate gear.
  • the bevel gears are driven by the drive shaft, the bevel gears meshing together with the toothing of the bevel pinion of the drive shaft in order to achieve the same speed. If, however, unequal speeds are advantageous for the bevel gears, separate toothings of different sizes can be provided on the drive shaft for both bevel gears.
  • the teeth of the bevel gears can have straight or curved teeth.
  • the rotary movement must be switched off for chisel operation. This is done in a simple manner via the displaceable coupling part, in that it is not connected to either of the two bevel gears in a central position. By moving the coupling part in one direction or the other, either clockwise or counterclockwise rotation of the output shaft and thus the tool can be activated.
  • Suitable engagement means for the coupling part are, for example, a plurality of tooth gaps lying on a circular path. Corresponding to the tooth gaps, claws are provided on the coupling part, which can come into positive engagement with the tooth gaps.
  • the coupling part which is displaceable along the output shaft, is connected to the output shaft in a rotationally locking manner via a feather key or the like.
  • the expediently annular coupling part can be moved from the outside, for example by an eccentric handle.
  • the hammer drill has a housing 1 with a handle 2.
  • the housing 1 is protruded from the front by a tool holder 3.
  • a tool in the form of a flat chisel 4 is held in the tool holder 3 in accordance with the switched-on operating state.
  • the flat chisel 4 is given 5 impact energy by a percussion piston.
  • the percussion piston 5 is for this purpose slidably mounted in a hollow cylindrical output shaft 6.
  • a displaceable drive piston 7 is also arranged at an axial distance behind the percussion piston 5 in the bore of the output shaft 6.
  • An intermittent stroke movement of the drive piston 7 alternately compresses and decompresses an air cushion 8 located between it and the percussion piston 5, as a result of which the percussion piston 5 is also set into a stroke movement in order to deliver the impact energy.
  • Percussion piston 5 and drive piston 7 have sealing rings 9, 11 for maintaining the air cushion 8.
  • the stroke movement of the drive piston 7 is motorized.
  • An output pinion 12 of a drive motor drives a crankshaft 14 via a toothed wheel 13.
  • the latter is rotatably supported in the housing 1 by roller bearings 15, 16.
  • a connecting rod 17 connects the drive piston 7 to a crank pin 19 of the crankshaft 14 via a cross pin 18.
  • a roller bearing 21 is used to support the connecting rod 17 on the crank pin 19.
  • the output pinion 12 also meshes with a gear 22, which is non-rotatably seated on an overall drive shaft designated 23.
  • the drive shaft 23 is rotatably mounted in the housing 1 via roller bearings 24, 25.
  • a bevel pinion 26 of the drive shaft 23 drives two bevel gears 27, 28, which are concentric sit on the output shaft 6.
  • the bevel gears 27, 28 On the mutually facing end faces, the bevel gears 27, 28 have engagement means 32, 33 in the form of tooth gaps.
  • the bevel gears 27, 28 are rotatable relative to the output shaft 6 by slide bearings 34, 35 and by circlips 36, 37; 38, 39 arranged axially immovable.
  • On the bevel gear 27 there is also a roller bearing 41 on the outside, which is supported radially in a guide tube 42.
  • the guide tube 42 is non-rotatably seated in the housing 1. In this way, the output shaft 6 is rotatably supported relative to the housing 1.
  • the coupling part 43 is displaceable relative to the output shaft 6 and is rotatably supported by a feather key 44.
  • Opposed to the engaging means 32, 33 are claws 45, 46 on the coupling part 43 which, when the coupling part 43 is displaced in one direction or the other, form a positive, rotationally fixed connection with the engaging means of the respective bevel gear 27 or 28.
  • the eccentric handle 48 essentially consists of a pin 49 rotatably mounted in the housing 1 with an eccentrically arranged cam 51 projecting into the annular groove and an actuating handle 52 connected to the pin 49 in a rotationally fixed manner.
  • a disk 53 fixed to the housing supports the pin 49 from the outside.
  • a locking ball 54 is also provided on the actuating handle 52, which engages in one of three locking recesses 55 in the housing 1 in order to lock the respective switching position.
