Definitions

  • the invention relates to a level crossing, in which the roadway in the track area is formed by concrete slabs, the space between the two rails of a track being filled by inner slabs, which bridge this space and lead from one rail to the other on the track the inner rail feet are elastically supported, and the outer side of the rails of the track is then arranged with outer plates, which are elastically supported over a strip-shaped area outside the rails with an edge on the outer lying rail feet and are supported on their bodies opposite this edge on support bodies are.
  • the concrete slabs forming the roadway are formed from cement-bound concrete and a steel frame embodying the edges of the slabs.
  • the presence of a steel frame gives rise to electrical insulation problems in the inner plates if the rails of the track have to be insulated from one another in order to form a signal circuit for track vacancy detection and train-actuated signaling and control processes.
  • Difficulties also arise with such rail-like road crossings in the area of the outer plates with plates made of cement-bound concrete and a steel frame, because these outer plates are damaged by the loads acting on them, which have a number of different directions of action due to construction and traffic. It is namely that the outer plates in that they are supported with an edge on the rails of the track, while their outer edge rests on bearing bodies independent of the track, often heavily asymmetrically loaded.
  • the railroad crossing of the type mentioned at the outset which is designed according to the invention, is characterized in that the inner plates bridging the space between the rails of a track are frameless, reinforced concrete plastic plates, which consist in particular of polyester bet ⁇ n. With this training, the above-mentioned objective can be met well. It is preferably provided that the outer plates each covering a strip-shaped area on the outer sides of the track are frameless, reinforced concrete plastic plates, which consist in particular of polyester concrete. Plastic concrete is practically not electrically conductive, and the risk of the two rails of a track being short-circuited is practically eliminated due to the frameless construction of the inner plates made of plastic concrete.
  • the stone or sand material is not bound by cement, but by a synthetic resin, in particular a bond with a polyester resin.
  • the reinforcement is designed on the one hand analogously to the static requirements as in the case of cement-bound concrete slabs, and on the other hand, when designing the reinforcement, its property, which counteracts the occurrence of shrinkage during the manufacture of the slabs, is taken into account.
  • the design, in association with the design of the inner plates as frameless plastic concrete slabs provided with reinforcement also surprisingly provides the outer plates in the form of frameless plastic concrete slabs provided with reinforcement significant improvements in the properties of use, without increasing the overall economic outlay, and substantially reduces the maintenance work required, which adversely affects the flow of traffic on rail and road.
  • the outer panels which due to their smaller width compared to the inner panels, can be assumed to be less stress than they are with the inner panels, are subjected to highly non-uniform loads, and it can be provided by the design of the outer panels as frameless reinforcement Plastic concrete slabs are surprisingly better able to take this stress into account than with cement-bound concrete slabs that have a steel frame.
  • the elimination of the steel frame in the configuration according to the invention is economically advantageous for the outer plates and considerably simplifies production in the case of special forms of plates, such as are required in the area of switches and track extensions.
  • top of the plastic concrete slabs is rough as a grain.
  • Such training can be achieved in various ways.
  • An education that does not require any special manufacturing equipment and has good durability is characterized in that a top layer into which a granular material is introduced, the grains being spaced from one another, is provided.
  • the plastic concrete slabs have hollows on their upper side, into which pins or brackets, which are embedded in these slabs, protrude from the hollow wall surface to form points of attack for hoists or the like.
  • Such troughs can be made relatively small, so that they do not significantly affect the uniformity of the road surface, and such troughs also do not require any special cover, since if necessary dirt, earth, sand or the like can be removed without any difficulty in order to bring hoists into the To be able to hang in a pin or bracket.
  • Securing the plastic concrete slabs against displacement in the longitudinal direction of the track provides for holding bodies which engage in cutouts which are provided on the longitudinal edges of the plastic concrete slabs supported on the rail feet and form a free space for the rail fastening parts, and that these holding bodies are screwed to the track with the rail shark and / or with other rail fasteners, such as concrete sleeper spring nails.
  • the holding bodies are thus fixed to the rail fastening elements of the track against longitudinal displacement and in turn hold the concrete slabs against shifting in the longitudinal direction of the track.
  • the holding bodies can have the shape of blocks or rods, for example.
  • a particularly advantageous embodiment is characterized in that the holding bodies are designed as U-shaped brackets which are fastened at their base to or with the rail retaining screws and come to rest with their legs on the side surfaces of the cutouts. This embodiment is structurally simple and can be easily installed, the installation being facilitated by the elasticity of the stirrup shape and also an advantageous elasticity of the fixing of the concrete slabs being achieved. Fixing the holding body with the spring nails of concrete sleepers is also an option.
  • the underside of the outer plates rest on a line-like support of elastic strips which are attached to the support bodies at their edge zone opposite the rails.
  • This line-like support of the outer panels on elastic strips results in an advantageous equalization of the stresses occurring in the outer panels under the influence of traffic loads and can be provided for the panels made of plastic concrete without pressure-compensating metal inserts.
  • the bearing body has grooves on its upper side, into which the elastic strips are inserted. It is furthermore favorable for a good fit if one provides that the elastic strips have at least two layers of different flexibility, the more flexible layer facing the overlying outer panels.
  • traffic loads can also be further improved advantageously in that the elastic strips attached to the bearing bodies, on which the outer plates rest, run continuously under the joint between adjacent outer plates.
  • this results in a favorable distribution of the load in the outer panels and also a simplification of the installation manipulation of these panels, if one provides that the outer panels are each supported approximately one third of their longitudinal extent by the elastic strips starting from the joints and thus each Outer plate rests on the elastic strips for approximately two thirds of its length.
  • the support bodies are designed in the form of support stones, the length of which corresponds to the length of an outer plate, and that the elastic strips arranged on the individual support bodies are approximately two thirds of the length Have the length of a support body.
