Abstract

Der Arbeitskolben (4) des Zylinders (1) ist über eine Kolbenstange (7) fest mit dem Kolben (5) einer Flüssigkeits­ pumpe (2) verbunden. Dieser Kolben (5) ist seinerseits über eine Kolbenstange (8) fest mit dem Verdichterkolben (6) der Ladeluftpumpe (3) verbunden. Zwischen der Zylinderwand (23) und einem Aussenmantel (11) des Zylinders (1) ist ein Ladeluftspeicher (12) gebildet. Die von der Ladeluftpumpe (3) geforderte Ladeluft tritt in den Ladeluftspeicher (12) ein, um von dort über Einlassventile (20, 21) in die jeweiligen Verbrennungsräume (9, 10) einzutreten. Die von der Flüssig­ keitspumpe (2) geförderte Flüssigkeit strömt in einen Wind­ kessel (60). Von diesem strömt die Flüssigkeit weiter in eine Flüssigkeitsturbine (66), wobei die nutzbare Energie über die Turbinenwelle (67) abgegeben wird. Da die Flüssigkeit unkompressibel ist, erfolgt die Kraftübertragung von der Flüssigkeitskolbenpumpe (2) zur Turbine (66) mit nur sher kleinen Verlusten. Damit ist ein besserer thermischer Wir­ kungsgrad der Brennkraftmaschine sichergestellt. Die Brenn­ kraftmaschine ist äusserst einfach und gedrängt gebaut. Es ist nur ein Zylinder (1) notwendig, um eine praktisch gleichförmige Leistung an der Turbinenwelle (67) zu erzeugen.
