  • Packaging of this type is very often used for ice cream cones, the packaging having to be at least partially removed in order to eat the ice cream and the waffle cone possibly enveloping it. Since an at least unsightly tear-off edge arises when the tear is opened, the packaging is generally completely removed. However, this is again disadvantageous because the waffle bags are often leaky and the ice cream can leak when they become liquid.
