Definitions

  • the invention relates to a push frame for front working tools on motor vehicles, which transmits the thrust of the front working tool under the vehicle through to the trailer coupling of the vehicle and in front of the vehicle front axle on both sides of the vehicle longitudinal axis on the vehicle chassis via chains, ropes or the like and hooks provided on these hooks and on the other hand, can be centered with respect to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle via a transverse guide rod.
  • Such a push frame is known from DE-OS 31 49 436.
  • This push frame is particularly suitable for normal passenger cars, since on the one hand only very low torsional forces act on the chassis and on the other hand practically no connecting devices are required on the motor vehicle itself.
  • a single connecting bracket for a transverse guide rod on one of the support bars for the front bumper is sufficient.
  • the front part of the drawer frame is also hung on these support bars using hooks.
  • the push frame according to the cited document has a frame with two longitudinal spars which are connected to one another at the front in the area of the cable pull via a cross strut. Deflection pulleys for the cable are located on the cross strut, which is at least as wide as the distance between the two suspension points of the frame on the support bars of the bumper.
  • the object of the present invention is therefore to improve the push frame known from DE-OS 31 49 436 in such a way that the front suspension of the frame on the vehicle chassis can do without fault-prone cable or chain hoists and that the effect of impacts and impacts from the Front work tool, the front suspension is largely reduced.
  • the frame part that transmits the thrust force consists of three telescoping tubes 1, 2, 3, which are plugged together with the aid of bolts 13, with several through holes being provided in order to be able to adapt the frame part to different vehicle lengths.
  • This frame part extends from the trailer hitch 7 of a motor vehicle under it to a snow plow share 11 in front of the motor vehicle.
  • a sweeper, snow blower or another front working device could also be coupled.
  • the vehicle is only indicated schematically in the figures, namely by its wheels 21, the front wheel axle 20, the rear wheel axle 22 and by the mentioned trailer coupling 7 and by sections of the two support bars 6 to which the front bumper is attached.
  • a resilient shock absorber 15 is attached, which resists the displacement of a parallelogram 16.
  • This parallelogram is connected on the one hand to the usual coupling element 14 for the spherical trailer coupling 7 and on the other hand via a sleeve 23 to the end of the push frame part 3.
  • the sleeve sits loosely on this end in the direction of rotation and can be locked in the coupling position by means of a plunger 17.
  • the parallelogram can also lie flat on the floor with a view to safely driving over the frame with the vehicle. In the operating position, the parallelogram does not necessarily have to be vertical, but the frame parts 1 to 3 can also run slightly obliquely with respect to the vehicle axis under the vehicle. This is particularly advantageous if the vehicle chassis has reduced ground clearance in the middle due to a transmission tunnel.
  • the front frame part 1 is ver in the area in front of the vehicle front axle with a bearing block 12 in one of several possible positions screws.
  • a cross guide rod 4 which is adjustable in length and can be coupled via a bolt 18 to a bracket 5 on the vehicle chassis 6, and on the other hand via two chains 8, the can be hooked into the support bars 6 for the front bumper.
  • the chains 8 are short and connect the hooks to the free end of a lever 10, which is articulated on a swivel bracket 19 via a horizontal swivel axis.
  • the swivel bracket in turn, is articulated on the bearing block 12 via a vertical swivel axis 24, so that the levers 10 can be moved both upwards and downwards and also forwards and backwards.
  • the first-mentioned movement is effected by a power cylinder 9, which is inserted between the tab 19 and the lever 10, while the second-mentioned movement takes place freely.
  • a power cylinder 9 which is inserted between the tab 19 and the lever 10
  • the second-mentioned movement takes place freely.
  • Fig. 3 one of these arms 10 is shown in four different positions C, D, E and F.
  • position C the arm is parallel to the vehicle axis, which reduces the space required for the frame in the depot.
  • the position E is the normal operating position and the positions D and F can arise briefly during operation if hard impacts are exerted on the implement and the shock absorber 15 takes effect.
  • Fig. 2 which is a sectional view of the drawer from the front, i.e. in front of the bearing block 12, two different positions A and B of the lever 10 can be seen, which are caused by the power cylinder 9.
  • Position A is selected for driving over the push frame before coupling to the vehicle.
  • the front working implement stands on the ground, and the frame parts 1 to 3 are located near the ground, while the free ends of the levers 10 are directed slightly upwards without disturbing the vehicle being run over.
  • the chains 8 are suspended in one of several holes at the free end of the lever 10 and thus adapted to the vehicle width or the distance between the support bars of the front bumper 6 of the vehicle.
  • the power cylinders are pressurized so that they lower the lever 10 and thus lift the push frame and the implement from the floor. In this position, a defined area of the frame parts 1 to 3 presses against the chassis from below. For snow removal operation, the pressure from the power cylinders 9 is relieved, so that the front working implement sinks to the ground due to gravity.
  • the inventive front suspension of the push frame on the vehicle chassis largely prevents thrust forces being transmitted to the front suspension and the chassis in the event of sudden impacts.
  • the levers 10 rather pivot with the brackets 19 about the pivot axes 24.
  • the power cylinders With the power cylinders, a trouble-free vertical movement of the push frame with respect to the vehicle chassis can be achieved even in hard winter operation, not only during the coupling process, but also later in operation, e.g. to drive over a fixed obstacle.
  • the ploughshare itself therefore does not require its own hydraulic lifting devices.
  • the invention is not restricted in all details to the preferred embodiment shown. So the working cylinders could be operated pneumatically or hydraulically, and instead of the chains 8 short pieces of rope or rigid connecting elements could be used. In addition, the front suspension of the chains 8 and the transverse guide rod could be carried out on chassis parts other than the support bars of the bumper.
