Abstract

Dispositif d'emmanchement servant à la fixation d'un manche à un outil, caractérisé en ce qu'il consiste en la combinaison d'un premier élément creux (2), susceptible d'être fixé à l'outil ou en faisant partie et muni de moyens de fixation servant à y fixer le manche (5), ainsi que de moyens de serrage supplémentaires susceptibles d'être serrés, et de filet mâle (11); et d'un deuxième élément (3) se présentant sous forme d'un bouchon taraudé, susceptible, d'une part, d'être glissé sur le manche (5) et, d'autre part, de coopérer avec le filet mâle (11) du premier élément (2) en vue du serrage desdits moyens de serrage autour du manche (5).

Description

  • La présente invention a trait à un dispositif d'emmanchement servant à fixer un manche à un outil, c'est-à-dire, en particulier, à un dispositif se prêtant à 'la fixation facile et efficace d'un manche à un outil, mais susceptible d'en être démonté facilement, par exemple en vue de sa fixation à un autre outil. Il pourra s'agir d'un outil de nature quelconque, tel qu'une brosse, un râteau ou autre.
  • On connaît des dispositifs d'emmanchement se prêtant à l'assemblage rapide d'un manche et d'un outil. Ces dispositifs d'emmanchement connus présentent toutefois l'inconvénient de ce qu'ils sont munis d'un simple moyen de serrage, susceptible d'être serré, de sorte que la jonction réalisée à l'aide de ces dispositifs d'emmanchement connus est peu fiable.
  • C'est pour remédier à l'inconvénient susmentionné des systèmes d'emmanchement connus, que la présente invention vise la réalisation d'un système d'emmanchement perfectionné, mettant en oeuvre, d'une part, des moyens de fixation et, d'autre part, des moyens de serrage supplémentaires, tout cela de manière à réaliser un dispositif d'emmanchement double, se distinguant par une grande efficacité et fiabilité.
  • A cet effet, l'invention a pour objet un système d'emmanchement essentiellement caractérisé par la combinaison d'un premier élément creux, susceptible d'être fixé à l'outil ou bien en faisant partie, et muni de moyens de fixation servant à fixer le manche dans sa partie creuse, ainsi que de moyens de serrage supplémentaires, susceptibles d'être serrés, et de filet mâle: et d'un deuxième élément se présentant sous forme d'un bouchon taraudé, susceptible, d'une part, d'être glissé sur le manche et, d'autre part, de coopérer avec ledit premier élément pour serrer les moyens de serrage autour du manche.
  • Les caractéristiques et avantages du système selon l'invention ressortiront-plus clairement de la description détaillée suivante d'un mode d'exécution préféré, donnée exclusivement à titre d'exemple sans la moindre intention restrictive, avec référence au dessin annexé, où
    • la figure 1 représente le dispositif d'emmanchement à l'état dévissé;
    • la figure 2 représente une coupe du dispositif selon la figure 1, pratiqué suivant la ligne 11-11 de cette dernière; et
    • la figure 3 représente le dispositif d'emmanchement concerné à l'état monté.
  • Comme le montrent les figures du dessin annexé, le dispositif d'emmanchement 1 y illustré se compose essentiellement d'un premier élément creux 2 et d'un deuxième élément 3 sous forme d'un bouchon taraudé.
  • Ledit premier élément 2 se présente essentiellement sous forme d'une pièce cylindrique creuse, munie à l'intérieur de moyens de fixation, tels qu'une denture ou un filet 4 se prêtant à la fixation d'un manche 5, qui peut y être vissé ou pressé, selon le mode d'exécution. Le diamètre moyen D de la denture 4 diminue, de préférence, graduellement vers le bas.
  • Le premier élément 2 est, à son extrémité inférieure 6, fixé à un outil ou venu d'une pièce avec lui. Dans le mode d'exécution ici décrit et représenté, l'extrémité 6 de l'élément 2 coopère avec un alésage 7, pratiqué dans un corps de brosse 8, et y est fixé par exemple par collage et/ou par serrage, dans ce dernier cas éventuellement à l'aide de crochets ou d'autres éléments analogues.
  • Le premier élément 2 est, à son autre extrémité 9, muni de moyens de serrage, susceptibles d'être serrés et se prééen- tant sous forme de languettes élastiques 10 pliables radialement, mais orientées axialement. Ce premier élément 2 est à sa surface extérieure muni de filet mâle 11.
  • Ledit deuxième élément 3 se présente essentiellement sous forme d'un bouchon taraudé, muni d'un alésage axial 12, .de manière qu'il s'adapte parfaitement sur le manche 3 et sur le premier élément 2. Ce deuxième élément èst taraudé, c'est-à-dire muni de filet femelle 13, susceptible de coopérer avec le filet mâle 11 du premier élément 2, et présente une partie conique 14 susceptible de coopérer avec les susdites languettes élastiques 10.
  • La mise en oeuvre du dispositif d'emmanchement 1 est illustré clairement par les figures 1 et 3 du dessin annexé. Elle consiste essentiellement en ce que le manche-5 est fixé dans le premier élément 2 en le pressant et/ou vissant avec son extrémité dans ladite denture 4, après quoi le deuxième élément 3 est glissé sur le manche 5 et vissé sur le premier élément 2. Lors - du vissage, lesdites languettes sont serrées contre le manche 5 au moyen de ladite partie conique, tout cela de manière à réaliser une double liaison se distinguant par une grande efficacité et fiabilité.
  • Il va sans dire que l'invention ne se limite pas au mode de mise en oeuvre décrit à titre d'exemple dans les lignes précédentes et illustré par les figures du dessin annexé, mais prévoit toutes sortes d'exécutions du dispositif d'emmanchement concerné en ce qui concerne sa forme et ses dimensions, évidemment à condition de na pas dépasser le cadre de l'invention, défini par les revendications formulées ci-après.

Claims (5)

1. Dispositif d'emmanchement servant à la fixation d'un manche à un outil, caractérisé en ce qu'il consiste en la combinaison d'un premier élément creux (2), susceptible d'être fixé à l'outil ou en faisant partie et muni de moyens de fixation servant à y fixer le manche (5), ainsi que de moyens de serrage supplémentaires, susceptibles d'être serrés, et de filet mâle (11); et d'un deuxième élément (3) se présentant sous forme d'un bouchon taraudé, susceptible, d'une part, d'être glissé sur le manche (5) et, d'autre part, de coopérer avec le filet mâle (11) du premier élément (2) en vue du serrage desdits moyens de serrage autour du manche (5).
2. Dispositif d'emmanchement selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens de fixation servant à la fixation du manche (5) dans le premier élément (2) se présentent sous forme d'une denture intérieure (4) de cet élément (2).
3. Dispositif d'emmanchement selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que ledit premier élément (2) se présente essentiellement sous forme d'une pièce cylindrique creuse et en ce que ladite denture (4) se présente sous forme de filet femelle.
4. Dispositif d'emmanchement selon l'une ou l'autre des revendications précédentes 1-3, caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens de serrage, susceptibles d'être serrés du premier élément (2) sont des languettes élastiques (10) pliables radialement, mais orientées axialement, prévues à l'une des extrémités (9) du premier élément (2).
5. Dispositif d'emmanchement selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que ledit deuxième élément (3) présente un alésage axial (12) livrant passage au manche (5) et est muni d'une partie conique (14) susceptible de coopérer avec lesdites languettes élastiques (10) du premier élément (2).
