Claims (9)

1. Presse à repasser comportant un plateau supérieur et un plateau inférieur, qui sont disposés de manière à pouvoir être serrés l'un contre l'autre et dont les faces situées en regard l'une de l'autre présentent une surface de repassage, caractérisée en ce qu'au moins l'un, et de préférence chacun des plateaux supérieur et inférieur (1, 2) est associé à un cadre tendeur (5, 6) portant une garniture (3, 4) élastiquement extensible.
2. Presse à repasser selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que les côtés du ou des cadres tendeurs (5, 6) qui portent la garniture élastique, sont disposés parallèlement l'un à l'autre et aussi, de préférence, parallèlement aux bords correspondants de la surface de repassage.
3. Presse à repasser selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisée en ce que la garniture (3, 4) élastiquement déformable est un tissu élastique.
4. Presse à repasser selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisée en ce que les plateaux supérieur et inférieur (1, 2) sont, de façon connue en soi, montés réglables parallèlement dans une direction verticale, de manière à être rapprochés ou éloignés l'un de l'autre, le plateau supérieur (1) étant de préférence apte à être décalé latéralement à partir de sa position de fin de course supérieure, notamment par un pivotement l'écartant de cette position.
5. Presse à repasser selon l'une des revendications 1 à 4, caractérisé en ce que chaque cadre tendeur (5, 6) est réglable en position parallèlement au déplacement du plateau supérieur ou inférieur (1, 2) associé, mais indépendamment de ce plateau.
6. Presse à repasser selon la revendication 5, caractérisée en ce que les cadres tendeurs (5, 6) associés aux plateaux supérieur et inférieur (1, 2) se trouvent au niveau de la surface de repassage du plateau associé, lorsque la garniture (3, 4) n'est pas tendue.
7. Presse à repasser selon la revendication 6, caractérisée en ce que les deux cadres tendeurs (5, 6) sont montés réglables, de préférence ensemble et simultanément, sous la surface de repassage du plateau inférieur (2).
8. Presse à repasser selon l'une des revendica- fions précédentes, caractérisée en ce que sont prévus, pour la commande du déplacement des cadres tendeurs (5, 6) associés respectivement aux plateaux supérieur et inférieur (1, 2) des moyens d'actionnement pneumatiques, notamment électro-pneumatiques, ou hydrauliques, de préférence pilotés à partir d'une unité de commande centrale.
9. Procédé pour le repassage d'articles, notamment de pantalons, par pressage entre des surfaces de repassage avec apport de chaleur et/ou d'humidité, caractérisé en ce que, avant fermeture des surfaces de repassage et avant l'amenée de chaleur et/ou d'humidité, l'article à repasser est soumis à une traction exercée depuis son milieu vers ses zones périphériques, pour maintenir cet article tendu durant l'action ultérieure de la chaleur et/ou de l'humidité.
