Definitions

  • the invention relates to a safety ski binding, in particular a heel holder, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a heel holder is described in AT-A2-296.111.
  • a jaw body is rotatably mounted on the pivot, on which a support plate and a sole holder are anchored off-center.
  • This design does not fully take into account the geometric requirements of a ski binding in that the axis of rotation for the ski boot placed on the support plate is not in the extension of the shin axis. However, this means that the maximum permissible torque of the shin cannot be set precisely.
  • the object of the invention is to eliminate the disadvantages of the known design and to create a safety ski binding in which the axis of rotation for the ski boot is approximately in the extended shin axis and is simple in its construction.
  • the control device thus only determines the pivoting capacity of the heel holder in the horizontal plane, the heel of the ski shoe rubbing against the ski-fixed component.
  • a measure to arrange the axis of rotation for the ski boot approximately in the extended shin axis cannot be taken from this document.
  • the measure of claim 2 determines the position of the heel of the ski shoe on the support plate in a particularly favorable manner, and ensures a defined position of the ski shoe on the support plate during the entire horizontal release process.
  • the stop arranged on the support plate engage in a groove in the front region of the sole of the ski boot, as stated in claim 3.
  • the features known from DE-A1 - 34 45 760 appear in the classifying part of this claim. This construction combines the function of the toe piece with that of the stop.
  • the invention thus also relates to the design of asessk ⁇ binding with a base plate fastened to the top of the ski, carrying a vertical pivot, on which a sole plate is pivotally mounted, which is urged into its central position by a spring, which either has a shell jaw at its front end for receiving the front of a shoe or engages with a stop in the shoe sole and which carries a heel holder of the type mentioned at its rear end.
  • a binding with a sole plate, which carries a non-releasing toe piece at its front end region, is described, for example, in AT-PS 330.632.
  • a control or locking device is provided for the locking of the heel holder and the sole plate, which is located on an extension of the sole plate.
  • the sole plate Since the heel holder alone triggers both a forward fall and a turning fall of the skier, the sole plate must be pivotable both about a vertical axis and tiltable about a transverse axis. However, the tilting movement presents difficulties with regard to the mounting of the sole plate on the vertical axis.
  • the object of the invention is also to eliminate these disadvantages and also to enable a compact structure in the case of a binding of this type.
  • control element is attached to the suspension fork, the controlled triggering process can be determined in a particularly simple manner by the designer. Furthermore, this configuration requires a very small amount of friction work to release the binding.
  • FIG.l shows the basic structure of a ski binding according to the invention and Fig.2 shows a variant thereof, each in elevation.
  • 3 shows a partially sectioned side view of a first specific embodiment of a heel holder controlled according to the invention in the driving position, in FIG. 1 a section along the line IV-IV in FIG. 3, with the details of the spring housing being omitted.
  • 5 to 7 show another embodiment of a ski binding in a side view or in a partially sectioned top view (both views in the driving position), and in a partially sectioned top view in the event of a skid of the skier.
  • Fig.5a shows a variant of the embodiment of Fig.5.
  • the heel holder according to the invention is equipped with a continuous sole plate as a support plate.
