  • This invention relates to the preparation and laying of parquet flooring and any other floor surface in tile form. Normal parquet flooring or tile covering has until now had to be stuck down or even nailed to a sub-floor, which can prove both time consuming and messy.

Claims (10)

  1. Carreau de plancher comprenant une structure (1) possédant des bords latéraux conformés (2,3) pourvus d'éléments de verrouillage (4,5) de types opposés, ladite structure (1) possédant une face supérieure (6) et une face inférieure (7) et portant, au niveau de ladite face supérieure (6), un matériau de revêtement de plancher (9), lesdits éléments de verrouillage (4,5) étant formés et disposés de manière à verrouiller réciproquement des côtés latéraux adjacents (2,3) de types opposés, de carreaux adjacents,
    caractérisé en ce que ladite structure (1) comporte uné pluralité d'ouvertures (8) qui s'étendent entre lesdites faces supérieure et inférieure (6,7), et ledit matériau de revêtement de plancher est fixé (10) par un adhésif à un support en mousse d'amortissement (11) disposé sur ladite face inférieure, à travers lesdites ouvertures.
  2. Carreau selon la revendication 1, dans lequel ladite structure (1) est réalisée en une matière plastique.
  3. Carreau selon la revendication 1 ou 2, dans lequel ledit carreau est rectangulaire.
  4. Carreau selon la revendication 3, selon lequel le carreau est carré.
  5. Carreau selon la revendication 3 ou 4, dans lequel des couples de bords latéraux contigus (2,3) de ladite structure (1) possèdent des éléments de verrouillage réciproque du même type.
  6. Carreau selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 5, dans lequel ladite structure comporte un réseau (9) d'ouvertures discrètes espacées (8) qui sont disposées sensiblement sur toute la surface de ladite structure (1) entre les bords latéraux opposés (2,3) de cette structure.
  7. Carreau selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 6, dans lequel lesdites ouvertures (8) possèdent une surface qui est égale à une fraction importante de la surface de la structure (1).
  8. Carreau selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 7, dans lequel ledit matériau de revêtement de plancher (9) est formé de bois, de liège ou de vinyle, les moyens de verrouillage réciproque (4,5) sont agencés et disposés de manière à verrouiller des bords latéraux adjacents (2,3) de types opposés de carreaux adjacents avec leurs revêtements de plancher placés en contact étroit.
  9. Carreau selon la revendication 8, dans lequel ledit matériau de revêtement de plancher est un revêtement de plancher en forme de parquet en bois.
  10. Carreau selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 9, dans lequel il est prévu des bords conformés comportant des éléments (12) formés et disposés de manière à permettre la fixation dudit matériau de revêtement de plancher (9) sur la face supérieure (6) de la structure (1).
