Abstract

La machine à laver (1) ci-décrite comporte au moins un cylindre (2, 3) monte et entraîné en rotation et renfermant plusieurs compartiments de lavage à travers lesquels le linge est guidé pas à pas. Le cylindre (2) est monté à ses deux extrémités (4, 5) sur des rouleaux (6, 7) et est également entraîné au niveau d'un ou des deux points d'appui. Dans une configuration de ladite machine avec tambour de lavage à deux coquilles, le cylindre extérieur (3) est fixe, tandis que le cylindre intérieur (2) fait saillie, aux deux extrémités (4, 5), sur le cylindre extérieur (3) et est monté et entraîné au niveau de cette projection (23). Sur cette dernière est fixée une bride annulaire à étagements, qui possède une rainure annulaire (11) pour le guidage des rouleaux (6, 7), et immédiatement à côté un pignon denté (12) destiné à la chaîne (9).
