Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for producing a shoe according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a multi-layered and optionally quilted upper is formed over a last and connected to an insole, whereupon the outsole is fastened in various ways. Necessary seams are staggered so that the seams are sealed by welding or gluing.
  • the individual layers of the upper must have special properties. It is desirable for cross-country ski boots that the outer layer (the upper leather) is impermeable and resistant, while the inner layer (the lining) should be skin-friendly and warm. For the shoe to be fit for use, the individual layers must be permanently bonded to one another.
  • US Pat. No. 3,757,373 discloses a device for gluing individual layers of a shoe upper. Interchangeable molded parts for cut shoe upper parts are provided on a mold base plate. A cover bell closed with a rubber membrane can be slipped over the mold and the base plate, a valve also being provided in the cover bell. In the method carried out with this known device, the rubber membrane is pressed against the mold and the shoe upper parts placed thereon by increasing the air pressure inside the cover bell.
  • This known device has the disadvantage that the shoe upper can only be placed and processed on the form alone, without an insole and without last. It is also not possible to replace the shape provided in the known device with the last, since in this case the insole would be damaged. Furthermore, it is not possible with this device to achieve sufficient pressure even at the lower regions of the upper adjoining the insole. Finally, this known device has the disadvantage that heat treatment of the shoe upper which has been carried out is not possible in the device and that the pressure on the shoe upper is immediately eliminated when the shoe to be glued and welded is removed from the device.
  • a similar process is known from DE-OS 27 01 966.
  • a cage chamber which can optionally be placed under negative or excess pressure and is closed with an elastic membrane, is lowered over the strips held in the strip chamber, and the cage chamber is then pressurized.
  • the elastic membrane clings to the last and the shoe upper put over it and the upper is molded onto the last.
  • this method is also not suitable for permanently connecting several layers of the upper part of the shoe to one another, since heat treatment of the shoe in the device is not possible and the excess pressure is immediately eliminated when the last is removed from the cage chamber and the membrane is therefore no longer on the upper part of the shoe is present.
  • the device required to carry out the known method is very complex.
  • the invention has set itself the goal of avoiding the disadvantages mentioned and to provide a method with which the layers of the shaft can be permanently connected to one another in a simple manner, without the need for any complex devices.
  • the stated object is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.
  • This measure ensures that the layers of the shaft to be connected lie evenly close to one another without annoying air cushions and can be permanently connected to one another by the simultaneous or subsequent heat treatment.
  • the method according to the invention is characterized in that the adhesive or welding process is carried out directly on the shoe upper, which is why no separate form is required.
  • the fact that the deformable covering surrounds the shaft mounted on the last on all sides after the air has been removed ensures a uniform connection of the layers on all shaft regions.
  • the method according to the features of claim 4 saves time because the heat required for gluing or welding takes place through the printing medium itself.
  • FIG. 1 shows a cross-section of a shaft of a ski shoe for cross-country skiing
  • FIG. 2 shows the shoe according to FIG. 1 in the deformable covering
  • FIG. 3 shows the shoe according to FIG. 2
  • the deformable covering already being pressed on 4 shows a second variant of the method according to the invention
  • FIG. 5 shows a detail of the shoe upper.
  • the shaft 2 shows a shaft 2 of a shoe which is mounted on a last 1.
  • the shaft 2 is connected in a known manner by means of nails or clips 3 and by gluing to an insole 4.
  • the shaft 2 consists of two layers, namely an outer layer or an upper leather 5 and an inner layer or a lining 6.
  • the outer layer 5 and the inner layer 6 are to be permanently connected to one another using a welding or adhesive film 7 get connected.
  • the outer layer 5, the welding or adhesive film 7 and the inner layer 6 do not lie evenly against one another in all areas of the shaft 2. Due to the shape of the last 1, there are gaps (see arrow) which impair welding or gluing and thus reduce the quality.
  • FIG. 2 shows the shaft 2 with the last 1 in a deformable covering 8 according to the method according to the invention.
  • a commercially available plastic bag is suitable, for example, as the deformable covering.
  • the air is drawn through a suction device 9, which is only indicated sucked out of the deformable casing 8, whereupon the latter fits tightly on the shaft 2 and the strips 1 (see FIG. 3).
  • the deformable casing 8 is now sealed, for example with a closure 10. However, it would also be possible to seal it airtight by welding.
  • the outer layer 5, the welding or adhesive film 7 and the inner layer 6 lie closely together in all areas of the shaft 2. This ensures a uniform connection of the layers 5, 6 during the subsequent heat treatment.
  • the heat treatment itself is known per se and is therefore not described in detail. You can, for example, in a hot air oven, an infrared oven or the like. respectively. Temperatures from 70 ° to 200 °, preferably from 100 ° to 140 °, have been found to be appropriate, to which the shaft 2 with the last 1 in the deformable casing 8 is exposed for a period of 5-20 minutes. In practice, a temperature of approx. 120 ° has proven itself, this temperature being maintained for approx. 12-14 minutes.
  • the last 1 with the shaft 2 mounted thereon is inserted in the deformable casing 8 into a pressure container 11 with a pressure medium 12, which is only indicated.
  • the casing 8 can also be a component of the device containing the pressure vessel 11.
  • the deformable casing 8 is pressed against the shaft 2 and the last 1 by the pressure medium 12. This ensures that the outer layer 5, the welding or adhesive film 7 and the inner layer 6 lie closely against one another in the method described above.
  • a suitable, correspondingly heatable pressure medium 12 it is possible to carry out the adhesive or welding process in the pressure medium 12.
  • the outer layer 5 shows the structure of the two layers 5, 6 of the shaft in more detail.
  • the outer layer 5 can be formed, for example, from a coated nylon fabric.
  • the nylon fabric of the outer layer 5 can be reinforced by sewn-on leather elements 5a.
  • the inner layer (the lining) 6 consists of several interconnected materials, 6a being a skin-friendly fabric, 6b a warming foam and 6c a polyurethane film.
  • the welding or adhesive film 7 for example made of polyurethane
  • suction device directly on or in the porous slat and to expose the shaft on the slat to the heat treatment with continuous air suction, if necessary without using a deformable covering.
  • the heat treatment can also be carried out in a microwave oven, the duration of the heat treatment then being shortened accordingly.
