Abstract

Frein de ski constitué d'un étrier métallique en deux parties, dans lequel les parties individuelles de l'étrier sont pliées en U ou repliées plusieurs fois, et qui comporte deux bras métalliques de freinage. On peut faire pivoter le frein de ski, à l'encontre de la force d'au moins un ressort de redressement, d'une position de freinage à une position d'attente, dans laquelle les extrémités libres des deux bras métalliques de freinage pivotent en direction de l'axe longitudinal du ski, c'est-à-dire qu'elles rentrent ou pivotent vers l'intérieur au-dessus de la partie supérieure du ski. Le frein de ski est pourvu d'une pédale d'actionnement sur laquelle appuie la chaussure de ski, la face inférieure de ladite pédale formant au moins partiellement un guide pour des sections des deux parties d'étrier; les deux parties se faisant face des bras de freinage portent un ressort de jonction. Ce ressort de jonction (7) possède une pièce centrale transversale (7c) avec laquelle il repose contre ou dans une voie de guidage (2e) de la plaque de base (2). En position de freinage, le ressort de jonction (7c) se trouve partiellement sur la paroi de délimitation frontale (4h) d'une ouverture (4b) ménagée dans la pédale d'actionnement (4). Deux ressorts en spirale sont prévus pour faire office de ressort de redressement (8). Le ressort de jonction (70) peut également être réalisé sous forme d'un ressort en plastique ayant sensiblement une forme en U lorsqu'il est vu de l'avant.
