Definitions

  • the invention relates to a transport, storage and stacking device, consisting of a frame and an insert suspended in the frame or placed on the frame for receiving the goods to be transported and stacked.
  • Such a device has become known as a workpiece carrier and is used for the internal transport of assembly parts, but also for the transport of such parts from the manufacturing plant to the assembly plant.
  • workpiece carriers of this type are used to feed workpieces to automatically loaded assembly machines.
  • the arrangement of the workpieces on the plate and the centering of these workpieces by means of projections and / or depressions enables automated handling, but also safe transport, in which the individual workpieces do not touch.
  • these workpiece carriers have been made of metal.
  • metal sheets are put on and connected to the frame by screws, for example. These sheets have openings, depressions or elevations or bolts inserted into holes for holding the workpieces.
  • profiled rails formed from sheet metal and provided with notches can also be used to hold workpieces on this workpiece carrier.
  • this workpiece carrier is complex and expensive. Because the deformation of the sheet metal requires heavy presses and expensive tools, the fastening of retaining bolts on the sheet metal requires manual work, as does the placing of the feet on the frame.
  • These workpiece carriers can be used economically, even in traffic between one or more domestic operating locations. They are only suitable to a limited extent for the dispatch of workpieces to assembly plants located abroad because of their high weight and the necessity of return transport because of their high price.
  • the invention avoids the disadvantages of the prior art. It is the object of the invention to provide a light and easily producible workpiece carrier which is suitable for handling with robots, the parts of which can be nested for empty transport, but which can also be produced so cheaply that they can be thrown away after use if the return transport is too expensive.
  • the invention is that the frame as an injection molded part is made of plastic, has outward-facing ribs, carries upward projections that reach through recesses formed in the insert, and corresponding to the upward projections on the underside of the frame has recesses into which upward projections one stacked below Engage the frame.
  • This transport, storage and stacking device the frame of which is formed by an injection molded part, can be manufactured extremely inexpensively by a simple production process and in large numbers, especially since the insert can also be produced as a molded plastic part, namely as a deep-drawn part made of plastic film or in large quantities also as an injection molded part.
  • the goods are very well protected in this transport, storage and stacking device, even if the insert is only made of thin plastic film.
  • the units formed from the frame and insert can be stacked one on top of the other in high stacks; the individual units are centered during stacking in such a way that individual units cannot be moved, so that these stacks are very secure. Thanks to the outward-facing ribs and the high stability of the frame, automated handling of these units is easy to carry out.
  • two openings are provided on at least one outside of the frame for the insertion of indexing pins.
  • These openings are expediently designed such that the opening is formed by the interior of a circular ring which is intermittently molded into a rib of the frame.
  • openings for the insertion of positioning pins are formed in the surface of the upper edge, preferably in the corners.
  • This arrangement of ribs on the outside of the transport, storage and stacking device makes it advantageous if coding fields are attached diagonally opposite one another on the long sides and / or narrow sides of the frame. These are then protected between the ribs and, thanks to their arrangement at a certain distance from the corner, can also be read by reading machines.
  • the units consisting of frame and insert can also be lifted, transported and put down again with forks of a transport device, it is expedient if at least one further rib is provided parallel to the ribs at the upper and lower edges and if the vertical ribs running perpendicular to these ribs between the central rib and the lower one Edge rib have a smaller depth than between the middle rib and the upper edge rib, wherein the middle rib is preferably deeper than at least one edge rib.
  • This configuration of the outside of the frame forms an outwardly projecting shoulder at least on two opposite sides of the frame, under which the fork of the transport device can reach.
  • the insert is made from a deep-drawn film and preferably has an edge which is essentially parallel to the floor and which has openings for the passage of projections on the upper edge of the frame and / or is bent downward at its periphery.
  • Such inserts can be produced easily and very inexpensively, they are often so cheap that it is not worthwhile to transport them back over longer distances or to clean them after use, so that the insert is discarded after use.
  • the insert has stepped side walls through which the inside dimensions of the insert at the upper edge are larger than the outside dimensions of the insert in the bottom area.
  • Such inserts can be stacked on top of one another in a slip-resistant manner without the inserts sliding into one another.
  • the insert when the insert is truncated pyramid is particularly advantageous has arranged side walls so that the inserts can be stacked one inside the other for the empty transport and thus take up very little space during the empty transport.
  • the insert is designed as a container that can be stacked and stacked on one another according to the rotary stacking principle.
  • the insert can not only be made from thermoformed film, in many cases it can also be expedient to produce it as an injection molded part. It is expedient here if it has ribs on its outer wall in addition to parallel to the floor and also perpendicular to it, which abut the inner wall of the frame and extend under that rib parallel to the floor that rests on the upper edge of the frame, with recesses expediently in the upper edge of the frame are arranged to accommodate these ribs.
  • the width of the narrow side of the frame - measured on the outside - is smaller or almost equal to the width of the long side of the frame - measured on the inside .
  • the frame of this transport, storage and stacking device has a wall 1, from which ribs extend outwards, which are formed in one piece, namely the upper edge rib 2, the lower edge rib 3 and a central rib 4.
  • ribs extend outwards, which are formed in one piece, namely the upper edge rib 2, the lower edge rib 3 and a central rib 4.
  • Ribs are several vertical ribs 5, also made in one piece with the wall and the other ribs.
  • Some of the vertical ribs 5 are interrupted in their rectilinear course by a circular ring 11 which has an opening 6 for engaging surrounded by indexing pins.
  • oblique ribs 7 are arranged which extend up to the upper edge rib 2 and between them enclose a downward projection starting from the front edge of the upper edge rib 2 .
  • a recessed grip is formed between the two inclined ribs 7, the inner wall 1, the upper edge rib 2 and the downward projection.
  • the grippers of a rod can engage, they are positioned or centered on a certain point by the oblique ribs 7, so that the frame can be placed in an intended location with high accuracy by an automated rod holder.
  • a coding field 14 is provided, in or on which stickers or labels can be glued. At this point they are in a position that is very protected by the ribs 2, 4, 5.
  • projections 9 extend flush with the wall 1 of the frame. On the one hand, these serve to hold inserts 15 which have recesses 16 through which the projections 9 extend. On the other hand, the projections 9 also serve to center frames stacked one above the other: at the lower end of the lower edge rib 3 there is an outward projection 17 in the wall 1, as a result of which a recess 18 is formed into which the projection 9 stacked one below Box engages.
  • the vertical ribs 5 do not have the same depth everywhere: in the upper region between the upper edge rib 2 and the central rib 4, the part 5A of the vertical rib 5 has a greater depth than in the lower region between the central rib 4 and the lower edge rib 3 a space into which the transport fork of a transport vehicle can be inserted.
  • the transport fork rests against the surface 19 of the central rib 4 projecting over the vertical rib 5B, as a result of which the frame can be raised.
  • round openings 20 are provided in the four corners, into which fixing pins can engage in order to be able to position the frame for automated handling.
  • the insert 15 shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 is made from a plastic film by a deep-drawing process.
  • the bottom 21 merges via the shoulder 22 into the side wall 23, which has at its upper end an outwardly directed, essentially floor-parallel edge 24, which is bent downward into the fold 25 at its outer end.
  • the edge 24 of the insert 15 lies on the upper edge rib 2 of the frame.
  • the bevel 25 extends over the upper edge rib 2 of the frame. A further attachment of the insert 15 to the frame is thereby achieved.
  • a recess 26 is provided in the upper outer end of the vertical rib 5 and the upper edge rib 2 is less deep than the lower edge rib 3 and the central rib 4.
  • the insert 15 has in its side walls 23 bulges 27 of the one narrow side wall and bulges 28 in each of the two longitudinal side walls at one end facing away from the bulges 27. Since the inserts 15 of FIGS. 5 and 6 have side walls 23 in a slightly inclined position so that the interior of the insert 5 has the shape of a truncated pyramid, a plurality of inserts 15 can be stacked one inside the other if the bulges 27, 28 of the individual inserts 15 are the same Are arranged. However, if an insert 15 is rotated 90 ° with respect to an insert 15 stacked underneath, the inserts are stacked one above the other.
  • a much more secure stack of inserts stacked on top of one another is achieved in that, starting from the same inserts 15, each insert stacked over another insert is rotated by 180 °, so that the bottom parts of the bulges 27 of the box stacked above them on the upper edge of the bulges 28 adjacent side wall 23 of a box stacked underneath and the bulges 28 of a box stacked above come to stand on the long sides where there are no bulges in the box stacked below.
  • the use of inserts which can be stacked one inside the other and one above the other according to the rotary stacking principle has the advantage that the inserts are not only stackable one inside the other for empty transport with the smallest space requirement, but can also be stacked outside the frame.
  • the paragraph 22, which can be provided both in the embodiment of FIGS. 3 and 4 and in the embodiment of FIGS. 5 and 6 of the insert, serves to ensure that the individual inserts are stacked securely on top of one another when stacked, because the paragraph 22 is placed on the surface of the rim 24 of a box stacked underneath and, due to the presence of the shoulder 22, the lower edge of the bottom 21 is lower than the surface of the rim 24, the vertical part 29 of the shoulder preventing any slipping.
  • the inserts 15 are manufactured as injection molded parts. They have a narrow upper, outward-facing edge rib 30, a wide central rib 31 and further a narrow lower rib 32.
  • the outer circumferential dimensions of the upper edge rib 30 and the lower rib 32 are somewhat smaller than the inner dimensions of the frame.
  • the central rib 31 takes on the function of resting on the upper edge rib 2 of the frame. It therefore has recesses 16 through which the projections 9 of the frame extend and is provided at its outer end with a downward bevel 25.
  • Vertical ribs 33 are arranged between the ribs 31, 32 and extend along the side wall 34 and continue in ribs 35 below the central rib 31 up to the bevel 25. So that these ribs 35 do not rest on the upper surface of the upper rib 2 of the frame, the upper edge rib 2 of the frame has recesses 36 or depressions where ribs 35 come to rest.
