Definitions

  • the invention relates to a sliding door guide, in particular for a shower partition, with a retaining strip which extends in the displacement direction and is held rotatably about a longitudinal axis and on which a sliding guide device which extends in the displacement direction is detachably held for guiding at least one displaceable door element.
  • shower partitions in which the shower space is separated by means of plate-shaped elements which serve as a screen and splash guard and protrude from the bath bead of a shower or bathtub towards the ceiling of the shower room.
  • plate-shaped elements which serve as a screen and splash guard and protrude from the bath bead of a shower or bathtub towards the ceiling of the shower room.
  • at least some of the plate-shaped elements are designed as sliding doors.
  • shower partition walls In order to keep the space requirement for the shower partition small, such shower partition walls often have a plurality of sliding doors which can be moved telescopically to one another.
  • a slide guide device placed on the trough bulge has a plurality of rail-like slide shoes with which a plurality of sliding doors which are arranged next to one another for the direction of displacement can be guided so as to be displaceable relative to one another.
  • the individual sliding shoes usually have an approximately U-shaped profile.
  • the holding bar of the cross member is fixed and provided with a number of holding grooves open at the bottom corresponding to the number of sliding blocks, the slot openings of which are at different levels and which each take up the free legs of the U-profiles of one sliding block.
  • the sliding doors are normally slidably suspended at the ends opposite the sliding shoes, for example by means of rollers attached to the upper edges of the sliding doors and running in upper guide rails.
  • DE-PS 27 11 826, DE-AS 25 16 851 and DE-PS 30 42 098 sliding door guides for showers are known in which cleaning and repair is facilitated in that the retaining strip provided with the sliding guide device for the sliding door elements after overcoming a locking connection with a bottom bar carrying the retaining bar, it can be pulled off upwards.
  • DE-PS 27 11 826 and DE-PS 30 42 098 the sliding engagement between the retaining strip and guide strips at the lower ends of the door elements is released by this removal.
  • DE-AS 25 16 851 the holding bar is divided in its longitudinal extent and can be pulled off in parts from the bottom bar.
  • a sliding door guide of the type specified at the outset is known from EP-A-0 189 500.
  • a retaining bar and a guide device integrated with it for a sliding door can be pivoted about a longitudinal axis relative to an extension of a bottom bar that supports them.
  • the sliding guide device disengages from a guide extension of the sliding door, so that the sliding door can be pivoted away for cleaning and repair purposes.
  • the pivoting resistance must not be particularly high. However, this has the consequence that an unintentional pivoting and thus an unintentional pivoting away of the sliding door can occur, even if it is only pressed slightly laterally against the sliding door.
  • the retaining strip and the slide guide device integrated with it must be rotated by hand about its longitudinal axis in order to disengage the sliding door from the slide guide device.
  • This is problematic given the generally relatively poor accessibility of the sliding guide devices and holding capacities, especially if the holding bar and the sliding guide device are dirty, for example Soap residue that is slippery.
  • the holding strip with the sliding guide device must be held in the correct position in order to enable the sliding door guide device to be inserted into the sliding guide device. This complicates handling for cleaning and repair purposes.
  • the one with the holding bar connected torsionally rigid locking disc is provided, the periphery of which is supported on a fixedly arranged leaf spring and has a plurality of straight peripheral regions, of which in each locking position of the holding bar one over its entire length on one against the Leaf spring urging disc rests.
  • the straight peripheral regions preferably adjoin one another so that the locking disk has a polygonal shape at least over part of its peripheral surface. If the retaining strip and with it the locking disc is rotated from one locking position to another locking position, this is only possible by elastic bending of the leaf spring against its spring force in the radial direction of the locking disc.
  • the locking disc can be integrally formed with the retaining bar.
  • the retaining strip itself can also be formed in the area of the leaf spring with straight circumferential areas, which together with the leaf spring form a locking device.
  • a locking disc with the associated leaf spring at one end of the retaining strip.
  • a locking disk and a leaf spring can also be arranged at each end of the retaining strip.
  • the sliding door guide according to the invention has previously been considered in connection with a shower partition. However, it is not limited to this. For example, it is also applicable for wardrobes, bathroom cabinets or similar devices with sliding doors.
  • Figures 1 and 2 show a dashed line a retaining bar 11, which is composed essentially of three U-shaped arches, which are arranged side by side, wherein the two legs of the middle arch simultaneously form the adjacent legs of the two outer arches.
  • the inner walls of the arches each form a groove that is open at the bottom.
  • the arches are offset from one another in the vertical direction, so that the groove fatigue of the grooves is also at different levels.
  • Each of the three grooves serves to receive the free leg of an upwardly open, essentially U-shaped sliding block.
  • the sliding blocks serve as sliding guides for one of three sliding doors, by means of which sliding blocks can be telescopically shifted towards each other.
  • the retaining strip 11 has over the middle arc a channel 13 which extends over the length of the retaining strip 11 and has a cross-section in the shape of a jaw, which forms the axis of rotation of the retaining strip 11 and in whose both ends a screw 15 is screwed, with which the retaining strip 11 is two End is rotatably attached to a vertical transverse wall 17 of a vertical beam 19. Between the head of the screw 15 and the vertical transverse wall 17 there is a locking disk 21 which follows the rotary movements of the holding bar 11.
  • a radially protruding driving lug can be provided on the screw head end of the screw 15, which engages in a corresponding recess of the locking disk 21 in order to take it securely with a common rotational movement of the holding strip 11 and screw 15.
  • the locking disk 21 has an arcuate circumference over the larger part of its circumference located at the top in FIG. 1, while the remaining circumferential part, which is lower in FIG. 1, consists of three tendon-shaped, straight circumferential regions 23, 25, 27 put together.
  • the support frame 29 is on an upper support frame wall 33 with a first support block 35 projecting obliquely into the interior of the support frame 29 and on the left end in FIGS. 1 and 2 of a lower support frame wall 37 with a second support block 39 Mistake.
  • the support blocks 35 and 39 hold the two ends of a leaf spring 39 which has an inclined region 41 which extends over most of its free length and a vertical region 43 which extends over the remaining region of its free length.
  • a bottom bar 45 is also shown in dashed lines, which extends in the direction of displacement of the door elements over the length of the holding bar 11.
  • the bottom bar 45 has a support foot 47 with which the sliding door guide can be placed on the tub bead of a shower tray or a bathtub.
  • a support leg 49 stands high from a lateral end of the support foot 47, from the free end of which a cover 51 serving as kick protection protrudes laterally beyond the retaining strip 11.
  • the bottom bar 45 is screwed onto the vertical transverse wall 17 of the vertical spar 19 by means of the screw 31.
  • the three sliding doors are provided on their upper end remote from the holding strip 11 with rollers which run in guide rails mounted above the sliding doors.
  • the sliding shoes (not shown) cannot therefore be removed from the three grooves of the holding bar 11. If, on the other hand, the retaining strip 11 and the locking disk 21 are brought into the release rotary position shown in FIG. 2, namely by pivoting the lower ends of the sliding doors to the right as seen in FIG. 2 about their upper roller suspension, the sliding shoes can be removed from the grooves in the retaining strip 11 freed and then cleaned.
