Definitions

  • the invention relates to a device according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a device is e.g. B. known from DE-PS 25 12 826.
  • a clamp-holding feed device is provided, which during the arching process of the tow band brings the clamp in the arch area to the tow band and from which the clamp is released for entrainment by the tow band, when the bending elements undo the curvature.
  • This approach of the clamp to the already arched towing belt requires a precise timing of the feed movement; this increases the time required for the clip-on process and thus increases the difficulties in clipping onto the running tow band.
  • the object of the invention is therefore to design the clip-on device in such a way that the clip-on process can be carried out reliably, regardless of the running speed of the drag belt.
  • the arrangement of at least the stamp causing the bending of the drag belt in such a way that it can at least temporarily follow the entrainment of the clip by the drag belt makes it possible to carry out the clip-on process reliably even at high tape running speed. There is then more time available for the lifting and return movement of the stamp, without the relative movement between the drag belt and the clamp hindering clipping.
  • the movement of the stamp with the drag belt can already be made possible by a tiltable arrangement of the stamp.
  • the solution for particularly high drag belt speeds is characterized in that the clamp receptacle, the die and the punch are arranged on a common carrier which can be moved freely in relation to the device in the running direction of the drag belt and which, after being carried along by the drag belt and the Release of the bracket can be traced back to the starting position.
  • DE-PS 22 46 313 shows a photographic processing device with a large number of treatment containers which are to be passed through one after the other by a band-shaped photographic layer support.
  • a z. B. roll paper with a length of several hundred meters through the z. T. very deep tanks run parallel to that Textilbandweg an endless, constantly driven drag belt made of a flexible plastic.
  • Clamps of various designs can be releasably attached to this drag belt, e.g. B. clamps with a channel delimited by two hook-like projections, the width of which is slightly less than the width of the drag band, so that the drag band can be introduced into the channel from the open front.
  • the dragging of the clip is then carried by the friction between the side edges of the dragging tape and the hook-like extensions of the clip. Because of the z. T. very high throughput speeds and relatively large stiffness of the drag belts, which are necessary to generate the high friction forces required for the entrainment, the attachment of the clamp on the drag belt is difficult to accomplish by hand.
  • FIGS. 1 and 2 are suitable for a drag belt 3 running vertically in the clip section from bottom to top.
  • the clip-on device has a frame 1 which is fixedly arranged in the machine frame and has two guides 1 a parallel to the direction of tape travel. As can be seen in FIG. 2, these guides 1a are designed as ball guides with balls 2, in which two ball tracks 5a are guided with low friction.
  • the ball tracks 5a are seated on a carrier 5, which has a receptacle for clips 4 to be attached to the drag band 3.
  • the bracket 4 once has an arm 4a which extends far beyond the drag band and on which the photographic material to be treated is z. B.
  • a holding part 4b is attached, e.g. B. when executing the clip made of stainless steel sheet, this is a spot-welded sheet metal strip, which has a clip hook 4c at both ends.
  • the channel delimited by the inner surfaces of the hooks 4c is somewhat narrower than the width of the drag belt 3, so that the contact pressure required for the entrainment by frictional forces is generated by its elastic deformation.
  • the carrier 5 has a continuous channel for the drag belt 3, the edges of the drag belt resting on the drag belt supports 5d on the side facing away from the clamp 4, the inner edges of which adjoin a recess 5c.
  • the side edges of the drag belt 3 are guided laterally by drag belt guide surfaces 5e.
  • the recess 5c is shown in FIG. 2 in a purely prismatic manner with oblique side faces and a depth which makes it possible to press the drag band into the recess until the side edges of the drag band snap into the interior of the holding part 4b of the clip.
  • the lateral boundary surfaces of the recess 5c can also taper towards the center, so that the bending of the drag band is strongest in the middle of the die and less towards the ends.
  • An ejector 6 projects into the recess and is under the pressure of an ejector spring 7. This is e.g. T. in a recess of the carrier 5, z. T. housed in a spring housing 8.
  • a cover 5g is provided opposite the support surface for the clamp, which is firmly connected to the carrier 5. This cover also has an outline adapted to the clip shape towards the clip guide 5f.
  • a recess is provided in the cover 5f, through which a stamp 15 for bending the drag belt 3 in FIG. 2 can be moved upward.
  • the stamp 15 has - such as. B. from FIG. 3 - a fork shape encompassing the bracket above and below. It is advanced by a pneumatic cylinder 10, which also contains a return spring 17.
  • two springs 12 are arranged in recesses in the carrier and are supported with their free end on the frame 1. Length and hardness the springs are determined so that the carrier 5 is lifted from the frame 1 in the idle state. Under the carrier 5 there is a limit switch 11 which is not actuated in the rest position of the carrier 5 determined by the spring strength. However, the springs 12 are dimensioned such that the carrier 5 can be pressed down with a small force until the switch 11 is actuated.
  • the operation of the device described is as follows. First, the beginning of the roll paper to be fed through the machine is fastened to the clamp arm 4a by pushing it through the slot and folding it over. Then the clip 4 is pushed into the carrier from above in the position shown in FIG. 2. The arm 4a points to the track for the roll paper, on which the paper is then also to be treated. The clip is inserted into the channel formed between the clip guide 5f and the cover 5g until an invisible stop. The entire carrier 5 is then guided against the action of the springs 12 together with the clamp further down until the switch 11 is actuated. At this moment, the pneumatic cylinder 10 is supplied with compressed air via a flexible line (not shown) and the stamp 15 becomes high Speed pressed down to its lower reversal point.
  • the drag belt 3 has so much play on all sides in its guide channel that the carrier is not carried along by the running drag belt.
  • the drag band is bent by the stamp 15, considerable frictional forces are transmitted between the drag band surface and the pressure surfaces of the stamp 15 and between the trailing belt edges and their bearing surfaces 5d, which are sufficient to apply the entire carrier 5 with clamp, pneumatic cylinder and ejector to the To accelerate the speed of the drag belt.
  • This acceleration is supported by the springs 12.
  • the plunger 15 is withdrawn from the area of the clamp 4 after the point of reversal under the action of the return spring 17
  • no frictional forces act between the drag band and the bending device, so that the drag band removes the clamp 4 from the The guide upwards.
  • the carrier 5 falls back under the action of gravity, the impact on the frame 1 being dampened by the springs 12; the springs are also dimensioned such that they prevent actuation of the limit switch 11 by the falling movement. With the falling back of the bracket 5, the bracket is finished and the next bracket z. B. for a web on the other side of the drag belt.
  • the device described can also be used if the drag belt runs horizontally in the clip area; only an additional return spring is then required for the carrier 5 in the starting position shown in FIG. 2. Braking of the running drag belt by the mass of the carrier 5 with bending device to be taken along is negligibly small. This device is therefore suitable for particularly high drag belt speeds, whereby the time required for the bending device to take effect and to be retrieved is decisive for the dimensioning of the running distance in the ball guides.
  • FIGS. 1 and 2 a somewhat simplified clip-on device is shown, which can be used for lower drag belt speeds or not so high demands on the uniformity of the tension 3 in the drag belt.
  • Components of the same type have the same reference numerals as in FIGS. 1 and 2.
  • the prismatic die 5 which can be moved with the drag belt is replaced by a freely rotatable roller 13 which has a free rotation 13a in the middle and carries the drag band edges by means of circular cylindrical edge sections 13b.
  • the side edges of the drag belt are passed through a further step 13c.
  • the clamp 4 is guided in a clamp holder 14 which is fixed to the frame and is symmetrical with respect to the drag band center plane and which also represents a lower stop for the clamp.
  • the lateral guidance for the clip is also given by this clip holder.
  • the stamp 15 also has a fork shape encompassing the clamp on both sides, but is seated on a tilt joint 15a on the pneumatic piston. This has a stop 15b, against which in the extended position shown in FIG. 3 the stop 15d bears, against which the plunger 15 is held by a spring 15c.
  • the operation of the device according to FIGS. 3 and 4 is as follows. First, a clip 4 is inserted into the guide 14 until it stops.
  • the stop is also designed as a sensor that actuates the lifting mechanism for the stamp 15. If the plunger 15 is now brought around the clamp 4 on both sides to reach the drag belt, its center is pressed into the recess 13a of the roller 13. The edges of the drag band are pulled inwards until they snap into the drag band channel within the hooks 4c of the clamp. This is also the reversal point for the stamp, which then returns to its original position under the action of a return spring.
  • the continuous movement of the drag belt 3 has the following effects: First, when the stamp 15 is placed on the drag belt by the pressing force transmit a frictional force between the drag belt and the stamp, which acts to pivot the stamp counterclockwise. However, the spring 15c counteracts this and the moment resulting from the force exerted by the drag belt on the lower point of application of the stamp and the lever arm between the axis of the stamp and the axis of the force exerted on the lower point of application. This counter-rotating torque can also be increased by moving the tilt point 15a for the plunger 15 towards the line of action of the force towards the upper point of application. The frictional forces exerted by the band therefore do not cause the stamp 15 to tilt counterclockwise during the bending phase.
  • the braking of the towing belt by friction remains limited to the front of the towing belt; the support on the roll is essentially frictionless. After reaching the reversal point of the stamp, however, these conditions change.
  • the drag belt does not follow the retraction movement of the stamp at the same speed, so that the braking of the drag belt is ended by the stamp.
  • the band stretching between the hooks 4c of the clip transmits frictional forces to the clip 4 and tends to take them along.
  • the fork-shaped part of the stamp 15 which has not yet been completely withdrawn, stands in the way.
  • the clamp taken up from the clamp holder 14 abuts against the punch 15 and tilts it about the pivot point 15a against the force of the spring.
  • FIG. 5 shows a modification of the clip-on device according to FIG. 3 in a side view.
  • This is related to a different type of brackets that have a flat, e.g. B. molded from plastic according to the teaching of DE-PS 35 35 852.1.
  • This clip has a recess in the holding part, which corresponds approximately in length and width to the width of the drag belt and into which opening project the projections encompassing the side edges of the belt.
  • the stamp 15 ⁇ has a shape that touches and deforms the trailing belt only at one point through the opening and between the projections of the clip.
  • the shape of the counter pressure roller 13 is particularly favorable because the bending of the drag tape is formed most strongly at the locations of the projections. Otherwise, the reference symbols in FIG. 5 correspond to the reference symbols for functionally identical parts in FIG. 3.
