Definitions

  • the invention relates to a turning handle for the outside of an at least sliding, but preferably parallel-adjustable and sliding wing of a window, a door or the like, the handle extending approximately vertically upwards in the closed position (see, for example, DE-A 2 538 942).
  • sliding doors but especially with sliding doors that can be parked in parallel and lead to the outside, there is often a desire to be able to operate the sash from the outside.
  • this rotary handle cannot be designed in the same way as the inner handle.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a turning handle for the outside of a wing that can be actuated in the manner mentioned, which at least ensures improved accessibility in the closed position of the wing.
  • the rotary handle is designed according to the preamble of claim 1, according to the characterizing part of this claim. Due to the angular or arcuate shape of this rotary handle and the arrangement of its handle handle, which is approximately vertical in the closed position, laterally a vertical plane through the axis of rotation, the distance between this handle and the locking vertical bar of the fixed frame can be increased, thereby creating a larger space for the hand. It goes without saying that the lateral displacement of the handle from the above-mentioned plane takes place in the direction facing away from the vertical closing-side frame member.
  • This handle can be used in the same way as a conventional handle, which does not extend sideways and upwards but only extends upwards from the axis of rotation.
  • the curved or kinked shape of the twist grip is therefore not associated with any disadvantages.
  • a further development of the invention provides that the two angular or curved legs of the handle are arranged in a common plane running parallel to the wing plane. So it is a flat arch or angular handle that can be brought quite close to the wing plane.
  • the inner handle usually protrudes far into the room to increase ease of use. If, as in the exemplary embodiment, the inner handle is a flat handle, its plane runs perpendicular to the wing plane.
  • the outer handle designed in the manner described above can, according to a further object of the invention, be easily pushed past the vertical fixed frame spar of the opposite side due to its flat design and, if appropriate, also on a fixed field or second wing attached to the side of the sliding wing. This is clear from the drawing.
  • a further embodiment of a rotary handle with a receptacle for the axis of rotation of an inner handle and with a rosette is that the rotary handle is located between a base part that can be placed on the outer surface of the wing and the rosette, the base part and the rosette together being a housing with a lateral one Form the outlet opening for the handle.
  • the rosette is not between the wing and handle, but rather seen from the outside, so to speak, in front of the handle.
  • the housing can be completely closed, which is particularly advantageous both in terms of the aesthetic effect and for protection against contamination of the pivot bearings.
  • the outlet opening must be dimensioned in the vertical direction so that the turning handle can perform its full rotation angle without obstruction.
  • the turning handle in the case of a wing which can be adjusted in parallel and which is slidable, the latter is first converted into a tilting position which is reached after the rotary handle has been turned through 90 °.
  • the twist grip usually returns to its horizontal position, which it also maintains while moving.
  • a wing 2 In a fixed frame 1, a wing 2 is mounted in parallel and un displaceable in the direction of the double arrow 3. In the closed position, it is located on the side of another wing or fixed field 4, in the same plane as this. Between the two there is an inner vertical beam 5 of the fixed frame 1. Depending on the fitting design, the wing 2 is directly in the parallel Oil storage position transferred or after previous tilting position. It has an inner handle 6 of conventional type and an outer turning handle 7. As shown in FIG. 4 of the drawing, the two differ significantly in terms of their shape and thickness measured perpendicular to the wing plane.
  • the external twist grip 7 is extremely flat and flat and is so close to the wing plane that it can be easily pushed through the gap 8 between the left vertical spar 42 of the fixed field 4 and the plane of the wing 2.
  • both handles extend approximately vertically upwards.
  • the external twist grip 7 is designed according to the invention in an angular or arcuate manner, the arc or angular outside pointing towards the central vertical spar 5 (FIG . 1).
  • One angle leg 11, ie the actual handle of the handle 7, extends approximately vertically upwards in the closed position, as is also the case with the inner handle and with the known straight outer rotary handles.
  • its central axis is laterally offset in the direction of the arrow 12 from an imaginary plane through the central symmetry axis 13 or through this axis and extending perpendicular to the sheet plane of the drawing.
  • the lateral displacement of the handle 11 is thus achieved by the angular or arcuate configuration of the articulated handle end assigned to the axis of rotation 14.
  • an angular shape of the rotary handle 7 is selected.
  • the two angle legs 11 and 15 lie in a common plane running parallel to the plane of the wing 2.
  • the handle emerges from an opening 16 of a housing 17 which extends towards the central vertical bar 5.
  • the housing 17 is formed by a base plate 18 and a rosette 19.
  • the base plate 18 is placed on the outer surface 20 of the wing 2. Then the handle 7 is mounted and finally the rosette 19th
  • the rotary handle has a receptacle 21 for the axis of rotation 14.
  • the axis of rotation normally consists of a square with handles of this type, which is non-rotatably connected to the inner handle 6. Accordingly, the receptacle 21 also has a square or square cross section.
  • a threaded bolt 22, which is screwed into a nut thread 23, is used to secure the twist grip on this square, the geometric axes of the nut thread 23 and the axis of rotation 14 being perpendicular to one another.
  • the base plate 18 is designed to form a game through a plane through the central axis 24 and extending perpendicular to the sheet plane.
  • this handle can be used for right as well as for right stop.
  • the handle 7 is embodied as a mirror image of a vertical plane through the dash-dotted line 25. It is simply turned through 180 ° for the other type of stop.
  • the base part 18 is in accordance with the representations according to FIGS. 1 and 2 rotated by 180 ° . Its bottom plate 26 lies against the outer surface 20 in every type of stop.
  • the base plate 18 has a central through hole 27 and two through bores 28 and 29 which are spaced apart from it at the same distance.
  • two essentially obliquely extending webs which form stops 30 and 31 for the handle 7.
  • the lower stop 30 limits the rotational movement downwards. It is used as a top stop for a different type of stop.
  • the two inclined webs merge into a lateral web 32, which forms part of the housing wall.
  • bearing eyes 33 and 34 protruding to opposite sides are formed on the rotary handle 7.
  • the bearing eye 33 engages in the bore 27 of the base plate 18, while the bearing eye 34 is received by the bore of a bearing bush 35 which is mounted in a blind hole on the outer wall 36 of the rosette 19.
  • the bearing bush is advantageously made of plastic.
  • two peg-shaped centering lugs 37 and 38 are attached to the rosette 19, in particular molded on. Each is equipped with a blind hole thread 39 and it passes through the associated bore 28 or 29 of the base plate 18. From the inside of the door 2, fastening screws are screwed into the blind hole thread 39 of the centering lugs 37 and 38, thereby pulling the rosette 19 against the handle 7 . At the same time with the handle, the base plate 18 is thereby held. The free ends of the centering lugs 37 and 38 can, if they protrude beyond the through hole 27, engage in bores in the associated vertical wing leg 40.
  • an opening 41 is made, in particular at the lower end of the rose 16, the shape of which corresponds to that of a locking cylinder to be inserted into the lock in question.
  • the rosette is expediently made of metal, in particular aluminum or the like.
  • the use of aluminum has the advantage that this material can be anodized so that the color of the handle can be adapted well to the other fittings.
  • the base plate can preferably be made of plastic, for example as a molded part.
