Abstract

Klappschachteln aus Schachtelteil (11) und an diesem angelenktem Deckel ( 12 ) sind als Zigaretten-Packungen weit verbreitet. Die Klappschachteln haben international übliche Abmessungen. Bei einem Packungsinhalt (Zigaretten-Gruppe 10), die den Innenraum der Klappschachtel nur teilweise ausfüllt, ist im Bereich einer Schachtelrückwand (14) und/oder einer Schachtelvorderwand (16) ein großflächiger Vorsprung (28; 40, 41) angeordnet, der in das Innere der Klappschachtel ragt und an dem der Packungsinhalt (Zigaretten-Gruppe 10) abstützend anliegt. Der Vorsprung (28; 40, 41) kann durch Prägen oder durch Falten hergestellt sein.

Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Klappschachtel aus faltbarem, dünnen Karton oder dgl., insbesondere für Zigaretten, mit einem Vorder­wand und Rückwand aufweisenden Schachtelteil und einem an die Rückwand angelenkten Deckel.
  • Derartige Klappschachteln - auch Hinge-Lid-Packungen genannt - sind für die Aufnahme von Zigaretten weit verbreitet. Der Innen­raum der Klappschachtel wird dabei von Packungsinhalt praktisch vollständig ausgefüllt, bei Zigaretten durch eine in einen In­neneinschlag (Stanniol-Zuschnitt) eingehüllte Zigaretten Gruppe. Vielfach ist es aber erwünscht, in den hinsichtlich der Größe unveränderten Klappschachteln Gegenstände zu verpacken, die den Innenraum n!cht vollständig ausfüllen. So werden neuerdings Zi­garetten auf den Markt gebracht, die einen kleineren Durchmesser haben als die bisher üblichen. Dadurch ergibt sich eine geringere Abmessung, insbesondere eine geringere Tiefe der Zigaretten-Gruppe. Zum Ausgleich der Abmessungsdifferenz ist bisher bei derartigen Packungen innerhalb derselben ein gesondertes Distanzstück aus Kunststoff (Polystyrol­schaum) angebracht. Die Herstellung einer derartigen Packung ist durch dieses zusätzliche Distanzstück aufwen­dig und kostenintensiv.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Klapp­schachtel derart weiterzuentwickeln und zu verbessern, daß ohne gesonderte Distanzstücke Gegenstände, insbesondere Zigaretten-Gruppen kleinerer Abmessungen als die des In­nenraums der Klappschachtel, innerhalb der Klappschachtel abgestützt und fixiert sind.
  • Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist die erfindungsgemäße Klapp­schachtel dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß im Bereich der Rück­wand und/oder der Vorderwand des Schachtelteils nach innen gerichtete, aus Vorderwand und/oder Rückwand gebildete, die Innenabmessung verringernde Vorsprünge angeordnet sind.
  • Die Vorsprünge dienen zur Abstützung des Inhalts der Klappschachtel, insbesondere der Zigaretten-Gruppe, der­art, daß diese trotz geringeren Volumens als die Klapp­schachtel innerhalb derselben weitgehend spielfrei gehal­ten wird.
  • Die Vorsprünge werden in die Wandungen der Klappschachtel eingeformt und können unterschiedliche Gestalt und Größe aufweisen - je nach der Form des Inhalts der Klappschach­tel.
  • Rückwand und/oder Vorderwand des Schachtelteils der Klapp­schachtel bieten sich für die Anbringung großflächiger, in das Packungsinnere ragender Vorsprünge an, die den Pak­ kungsinhalt entsprechend großflächig abstützen.
  • Die Vorsprünge können in verschiedener Weise hergestellt werden. Vorteilhaft ist ein entsprechendes Prägen eines Zuschnitts zur Herstellung der Klappschachtel. Die Prägung erfolgt in erster Linie durch Druckverformung. Patrize und Matrize wirken im Bereich des zu bildenden Vorsprungs auf den Zuschnitt ein. Zusätzlich können Wärme und gegebenen­falls Feuchtigkeit zur Verbesserung des Prägevorgangs ein­gesetzt werden.
  • Alternativ können die Vorsprünge durch Falten der entspre­chenden Zuschnitteile gebildet werden. In diesem Falle sind Rückwand und/oder Vorderwand mit in den Zuschnitt eingeformten Faltlinien versehen, die bei der Fertigstel­lung der Klappschachtel infolge der Faltvorgänge zur Bil­dung des Vorsprungs führen.
  • Weitere Merkmale der Erfindung betreffen die Gestaltung der Klappschachtel sowie die Herstellung der Vorsprünge derselben.
  • Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung werden nachfolgend an­hand der Zeichnungen näher erläutert. Es zeigt:
    • Fig. 1 eine Ausführungsform einer Klappschachtel in Rückansicht,
    • Fig. 2 die Klappschachtel gemäß Fig. 1 in Seitenansicht,
    • Fig. 3 einen Vertikalschnitt in der Ebene III - III der Fig. 1,
    • Fig. 4 einen Horizontalschnitt längs der Ebene IV - IV der Fig. 1,
    • Fig. 5 einen ausgebreiteten Zuschnitt für die Herstel­ lung einer Klappschachtel gemäß Fig. 1 bis 4,
    • Fig. 6 einen ausgebreiteten Zuschnitt für die Herstel­lung eines anderen Ausführungsbeispiels einer Klappschachtel,
    • Fig. 7 einen Längsschnitt durch den Zuschnitt gemäß Fig. 6.
  • Die in den Zeichnungen dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiele von Klappschachteln dienen zur Aufnahme von Zigaretten-­Gruppen 10, die in Fig. 3 und 4 schematisch als quaderför­miger Block dargestellt sind, nämlich als Zigaretten-Grup­pe mit Innenumhüllung aus Stanniol oder dgl. Die Klapp­schachteln entsprechen im Grundaufbau herkömmlichen Ver­packungen dieser Art. Ein Schachtelteil 11 und ein Deckel 12 sind über eine Scharnierlinie 13 im Bereich einer Schachtelrückwand 14 und einer Deckelrückwand 15 klappbar miteinander verbunden.
  • Der Schachtelteil 11 besteht - außer aus der Schachtel­rückwand 14 - aus Schachtelvorderwand 16, Schachtelseiten­wänden 17, 18 sowie einem Boden 19. Zum Deckel 12 gehören - außer der Deckelrückwand 15 - Deckelvorderwand 20, Dek­kelseitenwände 21, 22 und Oberwand 23. Innerhalb des Schachtelteils befindet sich ein Kragen 24, der mit Kra­genvorderwand 25 und Kragenseitenwänden 26, 27 im oberen Bereich des Schachtelteils 11 mit Schachtelvorderwand 16 und Schachtelseitenwänden 17, 18 verbunden ist. Der Kragen 24 ragt mit einem oberen Teil aus dem Schachtelteil 11 heraus und wird in Schließstellung der Klappschachtel durch den Deckel 12 umschlossen.
  • Der Packungsinhalt, nämlich die umhüllte Zigaretten-Gruppe 10, hat ein kleineres Volumen als der durch die Außenab­messung der Klappschachtel vorgegebene Rauminhalt dersel­ben. Um den Packungsinhalt in der Klappschachtel zu fixie­ ren, ist bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel der Fig. 1 bis 5 die Schachtelrückwand 14 mit einem aus dieser gebildeten, nach innen ragenden Vorsprung 28 versehen. Dieser erstreckt sich praktisch über die volle Abmessung der Schachtelrück­wand 14. Eine nach innen gerichtete Stützwand 29 des Vor­sprungs 28 liegt am Packungsinhalt an und bildet somit eine Begrenzung bzw. Abstützung für diesen innerhalb der Klappschachtel.
  • Bei dem Ausführungsbeispiel gemäß Fig. 1 bis 5 wird der Vorsprung 28 durch Falten gebildet. Zu diesem Zweck ist ein Zuschnitt (Fig. 5) für die Herstellung der Klapp­schachtel mit Faltlinien versehen, die bei der Faltung der Klappschachtel in die dreidimensionale Form automatisch bzw. mit Hilfe entsprechender Faltwerkzeuge den Vorsprung 28 entstehen lassen. Die Faltlinien sind in herkömmlicher Weise im Zuschnitt durch Schrägen gebildet. Entsprechend der Gestalt des Vorsprungs 28 sind Seitenfaltlinien 30, 31 zur Abgrenzung des Vorsprungs 28 gegenüber den Schachtel­seitenwänden 17,18 sowie eine Oberfaltlinie und Unter­faltlinie 32, 33 zur Abgrenzung des Vorsprungs 28 gegen­über dem Deckel 12 und dem Boden 19 vorgesehen. Zu den vorgenannten Faltlinien 30..33 sind mit Abstand parallele Innenfaltlinien 34 angebracht. Diese begrenzen ein Recht­eck, welches zugleich die Größe der Stützwand 29 ausmacht.
  • Von den Ecken des durch die Innenfaltlinien 34 begrenzten Rechtecks gehen Gehrungslinien 35, 36 nach außen in Rich­tung auf die Faltlinie 30..33. Die Gehrungslinien 35, 36 verlaufen vom Eckpunkt des Rechtecks aus divergierend. Dies ist dadurch möglich, daß die Seitenfaltlinien 30, 31 mit der Oberfaltlinie 32 und der Unterfaltlinie 33 nicht in einem Eckpunkt zusammenlaufen, sondern auf Abstand von­einander liegen. Die Seitenfaltlinien 30, 31 sind dabei gegenüber einer aufrechten rückseitigen Kante einer kon­ventionellen Klappschachtel seitlich versetzt, nämlich in den Bereich von Seitenlappen 37, 38 als Teil der Schach­ telseitenwand 17, 18. Durch die Faltung des so ausgebilde­ten Zuschnitts wird infolge der geschilderten Anordnung von Faltlinien der Vorsprung 28 gebildet. Dieser erhält aufgrund von schrägverlaufenden übergangswandungen 39 im Vertikalschnitt wie auch im Horizontalschnitt eine trapez­förmige Gestalt.
  • Eine Alternative für eine Klappschachtel mit Vorsprüngen im Bereich des Schachtelteils ist in Fig. 6 und 7 anhand eines ausgebreiteten Zuschnitts dargestellt. Hier ist im Bereich der Schachtelrückwand 14 ebenso wie im Bereich der Schachtelvorderwand 16 ein Vorsprung 40, 41 gebildet. Die­se Vorsprünge 40, 41 sind durch Prägen des Zuschnitts ge­bildet. Dieser wird in ausgebreitetem Zustand in eine Prä­gepresse eingeführt mit Matrize und Patrize. Durch Druck, gegebenenfalls in Verbindung mit Wärme und Feuchtigkeit, wird die Prägung unter Bildung der Vorsprünge 40, 41 aus­geführt.
  • Die Vorsprünge 40, 41 sind hier von geringerer Größe als die Fläche der Schachtelrückwand 14 bzw. Schachtelvorder­wand 16. Gleichwohl bilden die Vorsprünge 40, 41 den über­wiegenden Teil der vorgenannten Schachtelwände, so daß der Packungsinhalt beidseitig großflächig abgestützt ist.
  • Die Form der Vorsprünge 40, 41 ist so gewählt, daß - wie bei dem vorangehend beschriebenen Ausführungsbeispiel - im Vertikalschnitt wie auch im Querschnitt eine trapezförmige Form entsteht. Jeder Vorsprung 40, 41 ist durch Außenkan­ten 42 und Innenkanten 43 begrenzt. Die Eckpunkte der zu einem Rechteck vereinigten Kanten 42, 43 sind durch Geh­rungskanten 44 miteinander verbunden. Dadurch entstehen ebene großflächige, nach innen weisende Stützwände 45.

Claims (9)

1. Klappschachtel aus faltbarem, dünnen Karton oder dgl., ins­besondere für Zigaretten, mit einem Vorderwand und Rückwand auf­weisenden Schachtelteil und einem an die Rückwand angelenkten Deckel,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß im Bereich der Rückwand (14) und/oder der Vorderwand (16) des Schachtel­teils (11) nach innen gerichtete, aus Schachtelrückwand (14) und/oder Schachtelvorderwand (16) gebildete, die Innenabmessung verrringernde Vorsprünge (28; 40, 41) angeordnet sind.
2. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich ein großflächiger Vorsprung (28; 40, 41) jeweils über annä­hernd die gesamte Fläche der Schachtelrückwand (14) bzw. der Schachtelvorderwand (16) erstreckt.
3. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekenn­zeichnet, daß die Vorsprünge (28; 40, 41) in Schachtel­rückwand (14) bzw. Schachtelvorderwand (16) zugeordneten Bereichen eines Zuschnitts angeordnet und vor der Faltung desselben angebracht sind.
4. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 3 sowie einem oder mehre­ren der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Vorsprünge (40, 41) durch Prägen des Zuschnitts gebil­det sind.
5. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 3 sowie einem oder mehre­ren der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Vorsprünge (28) durch Falten gebildet sind, wobei Faltlinien (30..36) zur Begrenzung des Vorsprungs (28) in den Zuschnitt eingeformt sind.

Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 sowie einem oder mehre­ren der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß ein Vorsprung (28; 40, 41) eine nach innen weisende (groß­flächige) Stützwand (29; 45) und schräg zu dieser gerich­tete, in die Schachtelrückwand (14) oder in die Schachtel­vorderwand (16) führende Übergangswandungen (39) aufweist.
7. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeich­net, daß bei insbesondere durch Faltung gebildeten, die gesamte Fläche der Schachtelrückwand (14) abdeckenden Vorsprüngen (28) die Übergangswandung (39) zu seitlichen bzw. oberen und unteren Rändern der Schachtelrückwand (14) führen.
8. Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 sowie einem oder mehre­ren der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß bei durch Faltung gebildetem Vorsprung (28) in der Schach­telrückwand (14) außenliegende Seitenfaltlinien (30, 31) zur seitlichen Begrenzung des Vorsprungs (28) nach außen in den Bereich von Seitenlappen (37, 38) zur Bildung von Schachtelseitenwänden (17,18) versetzt sind.

Klappschachtel nach Anspruch 1 sowie einem oder mehre­ren der weiteren Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß bei durch Faltung gebildetem Vorsprung (28) zwischen Eck­punkten innenliegender Innenfaltlinien (34) und Enden au­ßenliegender Seitenfaltlinien (30, 31) sowie Oberfaltlinie 32 und Unterfaltlinie (33) divergierend verlaufende Geh­rungslinien (35, 36) als Faltlinien angeordnet sind.
