Abstract

Eine Gefrierschrank besitzt einen in einem oberen Schrank­ abschnitt angeordneten Verdampferteil, vorzugsweise einen Lamellenverdampfer, und unterhalb des Verdampferteils vorge­ sehene Gefrierfächer oder in Führungen der seitlichen Schrank­ wände gehalterte Schubladen. Parallel zur Schrankrückwand und zur Schranktür sind Kühlluftkanäle vorgesehen, die in Kühlluft­ austritts- und Kühllufteintrittsspalte des Verdampferteils münden und die zur Umluftführung durch beidseits der Gefrier­ fächer oder Gefrierschubladen vorgesehene Durchtrittsspalte miteinander in Verbindung stehen, die Zweigkanäle bilden. Um auch bei nicht vollständiger Beladung eine energiesparende wirtschaftliche Arbeitsweise sicherzustellen, ist unterhalb des letzten beladenen Faches oder der letzten beladenen Schublade (15) im Bereich des darunter liegenden Faches oder der darunter liegenden Schublade (15) eine isolierende Trennplatte (16) einschiebbar, deren Ränder dichtend an den Schrankwandungen und der Tür (2) anliegen und die den Weg der Umluft entsprechend verkürzt.
