Definitions

  • the invention relates to a coin-operated entertainment machine, in particular sports machines, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such entertainment machines are known in multiple embodiments.
  • an entertainment machine designed as a dart game device it is customary to provide a game selection switch which enables the selection of different games with different skill levels.
  • the game types “High Score”, "501”, “301”, “Shanghai” and “Scram” are mentioned as examples of the different games.
  • club players In order to further increase the entertainment during the execution of these games, several players often form a player community in a club. Club players meet regularly to hold competitive games. In addition, competition games between different clubs also take place at certain intervals. In order to promote club life, the player community generally receives a wide variety of gifts from the operator of an amusement machine and / or from the innkeeper in whose restaurant the amusement machine is located.
  • a coin operated machine according to the preamble of claim 1 is known as a vending machine from US-A-1,903,048.
  • the invention has for its object to improve an entertainment machine of the type mentioned in so far as a community of players further additional incentive to the game is offered.
  • the pivoting movement of the coin passageway can be carried out according to one embodiment of the invention by means of a multi-position key switch which is electrically coupled to an electromagnetic agent acting on the coin passageway .
  • the multi-position key switch is accessible from the outside and inserted into the entertainment machine housing.
  • the person in charge of supervising the amusement machine can determine by appropriate adjustment of the multi-position key switch when the payment required for the individual games is introduced into the main box office or into the club box office.
  • the multiple-position key switch is arranged in the vicinity of the workplace of the person who is supervising the amusement machine.
  • the coin passage is articulated to an adjustment lever located inside the housing of the entertainment machine, which has a number of latching positions corresponding to the number of coin cassettes.
  • the person supervising the machine must bring the adjusting lever into the desired locking position by intervening in the machine housing in order to introduce the inserted coins either into the main cash register or into the club cash register.
  • the latching positions of the adjusting lever are expediently adjustable via recesses on its underside which can be brought into engagement with a housing-side bolt.
  • each coin cassette is provided with an inlet channel on its upper side. wherein the input openings of the inlet channels of the coin cassettes corresponding to the discharge opening of the coin passage are close to each other.
  • the coin passage channel arranged between the coin validator and the coin cassettes is relatively long.
  • preferably only the lower area of the coin passageway facing the coin cassettes is designed to be pivotable.
  • the coin cassettes are formed in a common housing by arranging a partition wall or a plurality of partition walls. This results in a simplified constructive arrangement of the coin cassettes.
  • a coin system 4 is accommodated in the interior 1 of the housing 2 of the entertainment machine 3. Behind an insertion slot in the front wall 5 there is a coin validator 6, which via a microswitch 7 of a control unit (not shown) of the entertainment machine 3 signals acceptance of a permissible coin. The control device and the other technical devices find their place in the free space of the interior 1 of the housing 2.
  • a coin passage 8 is arranged below the coin validator 6, the input opening 9 of which corresponds to the output opening 10 of the coin validator 6.
  • the coin passageway 8 which is pivotally mounted in the upper area in a housing-side bearing 11, is assigned three adjacent coin cassettes at its dispensing opening 12, of which the middle coin cassette functions as a main cash register for the display and the other two coin cassettes 14 each function as a club cash register for a player community take over.
  • Each coin cassette 13, 14 has an inlet channel 16 on its upper side.
  • the inlet openings 17 of the inlet channels 16, which correspond in size to the outlet opening 12 of the coin passage channel 8, are extremely close to one another just below the swiveling circle section of the coin passage channel 8 in order to achieve the necessary pivoting movement of the coin passage channel 8 to keep the optional introduction of the coins into one of the coin cassettes 13, 14 as low as possible.
  • a tab 18 articulated to the coin passageway 8 connects it to an electromagnet 19 fixed to the housing, which in turn is coupled to a multi-position key switch 20 which is mounted in the front wall 5 of the housing 2 and is accessible from the outside.
  • This switch 20 has as many functional positions as there are coin cassettes 13, 14. Each position of the key switch 20 is a certain position of the coin passage 8 and thus a certain coin cassette via the electromagnet 19 13 or 14 assigned. With the help of the key switch 20 it can thus be determined in which of the coin cassettes 13, 14 the coins inserted into the entertainment machines 3 are introduced.
  • the coin passage 8 into the positions assigned to the coin cassettes 13, 14 by means of an adjusting lever 21 articulated to it.
  • the locking positions of the adjusting lever 21 can be adjusted by means of recesses 22 on the underside of the adjusting lever 21 at a certain distance from one another, which can optionally be brought into engagement with a bolt 23 fixed to the housing.
