Abstract

Bei einem Stabstahlwalzwerk mit Wasserkühlstrecke (9) vor der Fertigstaffel (4, 5) zum thermo-mechanischen Fertigwalzen wird jeweils eine Gerüstgruppe (12-14 bzw. 15-17) der Zwischenstaffel (2) oder der Zwischenstaffeln (2, 3), die auf das Walzen eines größeren Fertigquerschnittes als dem kleinstmöglichen Fertigquerschnitt eingestellt ist, auf eine Gerüststelle (22 bzw. 25) der Fertigstaffel (4) umgesetzt, der eine Wasserkühlstrecke (9) unmittelbar vorgeordnet ist. Die Fertigstaffel (4) für den kleinstmöglichen Fertigquerschnitt braucht nicht mehr auf größere Fertigquerschnitte umgebaut zu werden, sondern wird einfach durch eine Gerüstgruppe aus einer oder mehreren Zwischenstaffeln (2, 3) ersetzt. Zum Umsetzen von Gerüstgruppen kann Kranarbeit wegfallen, wenn Schnellwechselvorrichtungen (26, 30, 34) verwendet werden, die alle durch ein sich parallel zur Walzlinie erstreckendes Schienenpaar (38), das sich bis zu der oder den Gerüststellen (22, 25) der Fertigstaffel (4) erstreckt, miteinander verbunden sind. Ein thermo-mechanisches Fertigwalzen der größeren Fertigquerschnitte ist erreichbar, ohne die Fertigstaffel auf alle gewünschten Fertigquerschnitte umbauen zu müssen.
