Definitions
- the invention relates to a can transport trolley with a can changing device for supplying an automatic spinning machine with filled sliver cans and / or for disposing of the cans which become empty at the spinning positions.
- such can transport carts carry a single can with them (DE-A-3440598). If it is an empty jug picked up at the spinning position, this jug has, for example, its fixed storage location below a specific jug loading location. In this case, the can transport trolley cannot simply dispense a filled can, because first it has to clear the empty can. Only in a further operation, when he has given the empty jug to a disposal point and picked up a filled jug at another location, can he give filled jugs.
- the can transport trolley is to transport several cans at the same time and possibly serve to supply the spinning stations with new cans and the disposal of the empty cans at the same time (DE-A-3524922), complicated additional devices are required.
- the empty jug must be removed from the spinning station and placed on a parking space of the can transport wagon.
- the can changing device required for this must be relocatable relative to the can transport carriage, because it must then take up a filled can at another point and transport it to the spinning station.
- the other filled cans are each at different storage locations. You must be sought out there, seized and are successively delivered to different spinning positions.
- the invention has for its object to make the can transport trolley more effective and at the same time as simple and reliable as possible.
- the can transport trolley has a turntable on which the cans each have predetermined storage locations, all of which are equidistant from the axis of rotation of the turntable, that a can changing device is assigned to one of the storage locations as a can unloading location and that Can changing device has a switching device that rotates the turntable successively by a parking position so that one storage location can be brought under the can unloading.
- an empty storage location can be provided for the first empty can to be removed from a spinning station.
- the other storage locations are filled with filled cans.
- the can changing device picks up the empty can at the spinning position and places it on the free storage location. Then the turntable is rotated further by one division, the can changing device picks up the filled can at the same can unloading location and transfers it to the spinning station. This clears the storage location and the work cycle is repeated at the next spinning position.
- the can changing device has a specific can unloading position and a specific can unloading location which is higher than the storage locations and is just as far away from the axis of rotation of the turntable as the storage locations.
- a turntable on which the jug stands is arranged at each storage location of the turntable, that the jug changing device has a turning device for the turntable or the jug and that the turning device has a sliver end of the jug standing on the turntable sensing sensor is controllable.
- Such an arrangement has the advantage that the new can can be presented to the spinning station in such a way that the sliver end points in a predetermined direction or lies at a predetermined point in order to be picked up there with simple means. Otherwise there is a risk that the entire can changing process will fail because the spinning station cannot subsequently find the sliver end.
- the rotating device consists of a friction wheel drive.
- the friction wheel drive can, for example, engage the can itself, possibly at the lower edge of the can. However, if the turntable protrudes laterally beyond the lower edge of the jug, it can also attack the turntable itself.
- the sensor control of the rotating device ensures that the fiber sliver end lies at a certain point relative to the can changing device or points in a certain predetermined direction before the actual can changing process. This direction does not have to coincide with the direction in which the fiber sliver points as soon as the can has been delivered to the spinning station. This direction can certainly change through predetermined transport movements of the can changing device, for example through pivoting movements.
- the angle of the change, based on the central axis of the can, is at least approximately the same from time to time during the can changing process.
- FIG. 1 shows a spinning station 1 of an automatic spinning machine. It is an OE spinning machine of known design. On a can position 2 of the spinning position 1 there had previously been a can 3 filled with sliver, which had already been cleared and the outlines of which are shown in dash-dot lines. The end of the sliver 4 protrudes from the inlet nozzle 5 of the spinning station 1.
- a can transport carriage 6 is parked in front of the spinning station 1 of the automatic spinning machine, which also has a large number of similar spinning stations.
- the can transport carriage 6 has a chassis 7 which has two flanged wheels 8, 9 and two smooth rolls 10, 11.
- the flanged roller 8 can be driven by a motor 12.
- the transport carriage 6 can be moved along the spinning machine 1 on rails 13, 14.
- the vertical axis 15 of a turntable 16 is mounted on the chassis 7.
- Four storage locations A, B, C and D are provided on the turntable. All storage locations A, B, C and D are equidistant from each other and they are also equidistant from the axis of rotation 15 of the turntable 16.
- a worm wheel 17, in which a worm 18 engages, is connected to the turntable 16.
- the screw 18 is connected by a shaft 19 to a switching device 20 which has a drive motor which can be switched by a can changing device 21.
- a turntable 22, 23, 24, 25 is arranged at each storage location A, B, C, D of the turntable 16. Only the turntable 25 is directly visible in FIGS. 1 and 2 of the drawing. The remaining turntables are covered by cans standing thereon.
- Each can has a clamp for the sliver end below its upper edge bead.
- the can 26 has the clamp 29, the can 27 the clamp 30 and the can 28 the clamp 31.
- the sliver end of the can 26 is denoted by 32, the sliver end of the can 28 by 33.
- the can changing device 21 has a manipulator 34 which can be moved on rollers 35, 36 along a rail 37 in the direction of the spinning station 1 and back again.
- the manipulator 34 has two controllable can grippers, of which only the front can gripper 39 is visible in FIG. 1.
- the other can gripper is covered by the can gripper 39. 1 at an unloading location E, which is just as far away from the axis of rotation 15 'of the turntable 16 as the storage locations A, B, C, D and above the storage locations, currently perpendicularly above the storage location A. , lies.
- the manipulator 34 is currently in the can loading position. It can be advanced by means of the belt drive 38, which has a drive device 40, into a can delivery position in which the can grippers 39 are at a can delivery location F.
- the can changing device 21 has a rotating device 41 for the can located under the unloading location E, here for the can 26.
- the rotating device 41 can be controlled by a sensor 42 which detects the sliver end 32 and the clamp 29 of the can 26 on the turntable 22.
- the rotating device 41 consists of a friction wheel drive with a Friction roller 43, which is mounted on a horizontally pivotable lever 44 and can be driven by a geared motor 45.
- the sensor 42 is designed as an optoelectric sensor, the optical axis 46 of which is directed against a point at which the sliver end 32 and the clamp 29 are to be positioned before the can 26 is transferred to the spinning position 1. Via an active connection 47, the sensor 42 controls an electromagnetic drive 48, the switching rod 49 of which swings the lever 44. Otherwise, the turntable 16 is indexed in the direction of arrow 50 by a division of the can and the can 26 is transferred to the spinning station 1 according to the program, and for this purpose a conventional program switching device 51 is provided, which, among other things, has active connections 52, 53 and 54 to the drive device 40 of the manipulator 34, to the switching device 20 of the turntable 16 and to the motor 12 of the chassis 7.
- a can 26 is transferred to the spinning station 1 in the following way: It is assumed that the can 3 has already been removed from the spinning station 1. In this case, a sensor 54 connected to the program switching device only needs to observe whether a jug is missing at any spinning station, for example at spinning station 1. In this case, the program switching device 51 issues a stop command to the motor 12 via the operative connection 54, with the result that the can transport carriage 6 reaches a parking position in front of the spinning station 1. This is the case according to FIGS. 1 and 2 of the embodiment.
- the switching device 20, controlled by the program switching device 51, has the turntable 16 in the direction of the Arrow 50 rotated by one division so that the storage location A of the can 26, as shown, is located vertically below the unloading location E of the manipulator 34 or the can gripper 39.
- the sensor 42 had actuated the electromagnetic drive 48 via the operative connection 47 because the clamp 29 and the sliver end 32 were not in the correct position.
- the electromagnetic drive 48 had pivoted the lever 44 so far about the pivot point 55 that the continuously slowly rotating friction roller 43 had reached the position 43 'where it had contact with the lower edge of the can 26.
- the friction roller 43 had slowly rotated the can 26 and, with the can, the turntable 22 in the direction of the arrow 56 until the sliver end 32 and the clamp 29 were in the optical axis 46 of the sensor 42.
- the sensor 42 had switched off the electromagnetic drive 48 again. 2 shows this switching state.
- the program switching device 51 causes the two can grippers 39 to pivot against one another.
- the can grippers 39 grip under the upper can bulge 57. whereupon the drive device 40 moves the manipulator 34 in the direction of the arrow 58 in the direction of the spinning station 1.
- the drive device 40 controlled by the program switching device 51, first causes the lowering, then the spreading apart of the can grippers 39 in order to release the can 26.
- the can 26 is now in the same place where the can 3 had previously been.
- the Program switching device 51 the switching device 20 to turn the turntable 16 again in the direction of the arrow 50 by one division, so that the storage location 8 with the can 27 on it now takes the place of the storage location A.
- the manipulator 34 is moved back into the starting position shown in FIG. 1.
- the program switching device 51 switches the motor 12 back on, so that the can transport carriage 6 can continue to another location.
- the rotating device 41 controlled by the sensor 42, also starts again.
- the can transport trolley 6 is also able to first pick up an empty can and then only to deliver a filled can to the spinning station. To do this, only the program switching device needed to receive another control program. The other facilities of the can transport vehicle 6 remained the same.
- the control program of the program switching device 51 would have to be changed in such a way that an unoccupied storage location, for example storage location D, is initially located under the unloading location E.
- the control program would have to provide that the manipulator 34 first drives up, for example to pick up the empty can 3 and to place it on the storage location D, which would then be located under the unloading location E.
- the turntable 16 would have to be rotated further by one division and only then could a filled sliver can be rotated into the correct position and finally delivered to the spinning station 1.
- the cans could not be rotated while the can transport vehicle 6 was traveling.
- An empty jug would always have to be picked up first before a filled jug is brought under the unloading location E.
- the sensor 54 should also be able to between distinguish between a filled and an empty can, for example by observing the sliver end.
