Description

  • Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Durchlaufofen zur Wärmebehandlung von zylindrischen Gegenständen, insbesondere keramischen Rohren, mit einem von einer in Durchlaufrichtung stationären Ofendecke, gegenüberliegenden Seitenwänden und einem Boden begrenzten und durch Trennwände in mehrere Kammern aufgeteilten Ofenraum und darin dicht hintereinander angeordneten Wagen für die Gegenstände, die jeweils an ihren stirnseitigen Enden eine der Trennwände und einen Abschnitt des Ofenbodens tragen.
  • Bei Durchlauföfen zur Wärmebehandlung von Gegenständen ist es allgemein üblich, die Gegenstände durch verschiedene Temperaturzonen zu transportieren, um die Gegenstände nach einer gewünschten Temperaturkurve zu behandeln. Bei der Wärmebehandlung von keramischen Rohren hat sich gezeigt, daß eine Verformung der Rohre nur vermieden werden kann, wenn diese während der Wärmebehandlung im Durchlaufofen um ihre eigene Achse rotieren. Dies läßt sich durch Abrollen auf einer Transportbahn, aber besser auf angetriebenen Rollen erreichen. Im letzteren Fall kann nämlich die Eigenrotation unabhängig von der Transportbewegung sein. Deshalb lassen sich die Rohre unter Aufrechterhaltung der Eigenrotation, aber bei unterbrochenem Transport wärmebehandeln. Bei einem bekannten Durchlaufofen wird diese Möglichkeit ausgenutzt, indem die Rohre in einer verhältnismäßig kleinen Kammer mit der höchsten Wärmebehandlungstemperatur aufgeheizt werden. Der Vorteil der schnellen Aufheizung in einer kleinen Kammer besteht darin, daß, bezogen auf den gesamten Durchlaufofen, der apparative Aufwand an die diese hohen Temperaturen aushaltenden Teile des Durchlaufofens klein ist. Würde man den Transport nicht unterbrechen, müßte die Wärmebehandlungsstrecke mit den diese hohen Temperaturen aushaltenden Teilen wesentlich länger sein (EP 0 131 955 B1). Nachteilig bei dem bekannten Durchlaufofen ist jedoch, daß am Eingang und Ausgang der Kammer für die Behandlung mit der höchsten Temperatur Einrichtungen zum Umsetzen der Gegenstände von der der Kammer vorgeordneten Zone in die Kammer und aus der Kammer auf die der Kammer nachgeordneten Zone vorgesehen sein müssen.
  • Bei einem anderen bekannten Durchlaufofen zur Wärmebehandlung von zylindrischen Gegenständen aus keramischem Material (DE-A-19 35 921) sind für den Transport der Gegenstände mit Tragrollen für die Gegenstände bestückte Wagen vorgesehen. Die Tragrollen weisen an ihren Enden Antriebszapfen auf, die beim Transport der Wagen durch den Ofen auf sich durch den gesamten Ofen erstreckenden, stationär angeordneten Schienen abrollen. Ähnlich wie beim zuerst diskutierten Stand der Technik ist deshalb auch bei diesem Ofen die Eigenrotation der von den Tragrollen getragenen Gegenstände an den Transport der Wagen durch den Ofen gebunden. Neben diesem Nachteil, der keine kurze Temperaturzone mit höchster Temperatur ermöglicht, ist weiter von Nachteil, daß die Antriebsmittel für die Tragrollen für die höchste Temperatur im Ofen ausgelegt sein müssen.
  • Bei einem anderen bekannten Durchlaufofen (DE-A 1 508 506), der nicht speziell für um ihre eigene Achse zu drehende zylindrische Gegenstände eingerichtet ist, werden die Gegenstände auf Wagen durch den Ofenraum getragen. Durch von den Wagen getragene stirnseitige Wände ist der Ofenraum in mehrere Kammern unterteilt, so daß es mit einem solchen Ofen möglich ist, ohne Umsetzen die Gegenstände durch den Ofen zu transportieren und einzelne Ofenabschnitte temperaturmaßig gegeneinander abzuschotten. Letzteres ist vor allem für die Sinterzone von Vorteil, in der bei stillstehendem Transport auf einem kurzen Abschnitt die Wärmebehandlung durchgeführt werden kann.
  • Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, bei einem Durchlaufofen zur Wärmebehandlung von Gegenständen der eingangs genannten Art, die Wagen derart auszubilden, daß die Gegenstände auf den Wagen beim Durchlauf durch den Ofen eine vom Durchlauf unabhängige Eigenrotation durchführen und die dafür vorgesehenen Antriebsmittel vor einer Wärmebelastung geschützt sind.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß die Seitenwände zumindest in ihrem unteren Bereich in Durchlaufrichtung als bewegliche Teile, die von dem Wagen getragen sind, ausgebildet sind, und daß die Wagen mit Tragrollen für die Gegenstände bestückt sind, die sich durch die Seitenwandteile erstrecken und mit außerhalb des Ofenraums auf dem Wagen angeordneten Antrieben gekuppelt sind.
  • Bei der Erfindung bleiben die wärmezubehandelnden Gegenstände während des gesamten Durchlaufs durch den Ofen auf den Wagen. Das bedeutet zwar, daß die innen liegenden Teile, wie die Tragrollen, eines jeden Wagens, nicht jedoch deren durch die unteren Wandteile geschützten, außen liegenden Antriebe, für die höchsten Wärmebehandlungstemperaturen ausgelegt sein müssen. Dieser Aufwand ist im Verhältnis zu dem Aufwand gering, der für das Umsetzen der Gegenstände von einem Transportmittel auf ein anderes Transportmittel erforderlich ist. Hinzu kommt, daß wegen des nicht notwendigen Umsetzens die Behandlung der Gegenstände schonend ist. Dies ist vor allem bei dünnwandigen keramischen Rohren wichtig. Schließlich entfallen wegen der mitwandernden Trennwände auf jedem Wagen aufwendige stationäre Trennwände mit Schleusen.
  • Um einerseits die einzelnen Kammern gut gegeneinander und nach außen abzudichten und andererseits eine leichte Bewegung der Wagen zu ermöglichen, kann die Ofendecke anhebbar sein. Alternativ könnten aber auch die oberen Teile der Seitenwände beweglich gestaltet sein, insbesondere zusammen mit der Decke anhebbar sein. In diesem Fall können zwischen den aufeinander zur Auflage kommenden Teilen, wie den Wandteilen und der Decke und den Stirnseiten, insbesondere Quetschdichtungen vorgesehen sein. Abdichtungen mittels Sandrinnen sind möglich, doch ist die Abdichtung nicht optimal. Beim Einsatz von Sandrinnen erübrigt sich aber ein Anheben der Oberdecke zusammen mit den oberen Teilen der Seitenwände, um die Wagen bewegen zu können.
  • Nach einer weiteren Ausgestaltung der Erfindung sind vorzugsweise in den oberen Seitenwandteilen Öffnungen für Brenner und Luftdüsen angeordnet.
  • Um die Wagen nach dem Durchlauf durch den Ofen zum Eingang zurückzutransportieren, wo sie entladen und mit neuen Gegenständen beladen werden können, ist nach einer weiteren Ausgestaltung der Erfindung vorgesehen, daß unter oder neben dem Ofen eine Rückfahrbahn für die Wagen sich in Durchlaufrichtung erstreckt und daß für die Wagen eine zwischen dieser Rückfahrbahn und der Fahrbahn durch den Ofenraum verkehrende Umsetzvorrichtung, z.B. eine Hebebühne vorgesehen ist.
  • Im folgenden wird die Erfindung anhand einer ein Ausführungsbeispiel darstellenden Zeichnung näher erläutert. Im einzelnen zeigen:

  • Der Durchlaufofen weist ein Gestell 1 mit einem oberen Schienenpaar 2 und einem darunter angeordneten Schienenpaar 3 auf, die für Wagen 4 Fahrbahnen bilden. Am Anfang und am Ende dieser Schienenpaare 2,3 sind mit Schienen 5,6 bestückte Hebebühnen 7,8 angeordnet, mit denen die Wagen 4 von einem Schienenpaar 2 auf das andere Schienenpaar 3 umsetzbar sind.
  • Jeder Wagen 4 trägt auf einem Fahrgestell 9 einen Aufbau 10. Sämtliche dicht an dicht auf dem Schienenpaar 2 angeordnete Wagen 4 sind gleich aufgebaut. Der Transport der Wagen 4 über die Schienen 2 erfolgt schrittweise durch nicht dargestellte Vorschubmittel. Der jeweils letzte Wagen 4 schiebt die vor ihm stehenden Wagen 4.
  • Der eigentliche Durchlaufofen ist in ein Oberteil, das die Ofendecke 11,12,13 und dem oberen Teil der Seitenwände 14,15 umfaßt und in ein Unterteil aufgeteilt. Das Unterteil wird von den Aufbauten 10 der Wagen 4 gebildet und besteht bei jedem Wagen 4 aus dem Boden 16, einer am Ende stirnseitig angeordneten Trennwand 17 und den unteren Teilen von Seitenwänden 18,19. Das Oberteil ist durch Hebevorrichtungen 20,21, die in Figur 3 für die Brennkammer dargestellt sind, von dem Unterteil abhebbar, so daß die Wagen 4 frei bewegt werden können. Im Unterteil sind mehrere parallele Tragrollensätze 22,23 angeordnet, die jeweils ein zu behandelndes keramisches Rohr 24 tragen. Die Wagen 4 in Figur 1 sind im Vergleich zu den Wagen 4 gemäß Figur 2 mit mehr Tragrollen 22,23 bestückt, so daß von diesen Wagen kleinere, dafür aber mehr Rohre 24 aufgenommen werden können. Die Tragrollen 22,23 sind durch die Seitenwände 18,19 nach außen geführt und mit Antrieben 25 gekuppelt, die aus elektrischen Motoren, Getrieben und Ketten bestehen können. Die Stromversorgung der Motore kann durch auf ortsfesten Stromschienen gleitende Stromabnehmer erfolgen. In den Seitenwänden 14,15 des Oberteils sind Öffnungen 26,27 verteilt angeordnet, in denen Brenner und Düsen für die Belüftung angeordnet sein können
  • Durch die von den Wagen 4 getragenen Trennwänden 17 ist der Ofenraum in mehrere hintereinander liegende Kammern unterteilt, und zwar in Durchlaufrichtung in zwei Trockenkammern T₁,T₂ eine Aufwärmkammer W, eine Brennkammer B und zwei Kühlkammern K₁,K₂. Die Kammerräume der Aufwärmkammer W, der Brennkammer B und der Kühlkammern K₁,K₂ sind über eine Rohrleitung 28 mit den Trockenkammern T₁,T₂ verbunden, so daß die heiße Abluft der Aufwärmkammer W und der Brennkammer B und die beim Abkühlen in den Kühlkammern K₁,K₂ erwärmte Luft in die Trockenkammern T₁,T₂ geleitet und für die Trocknung der Rohre ausgenutzt werden kann. Zur Verbesserung der Umwalzung der Atmosphäre in den Trockenkammern T₁,T₂ sind in der Decke Umwälzventilatoren installiert.
  • In dem erfindungsgemäßen Durchlaufofen lassen sich wärmezubehandelnde Gegenstände, insbesondere keramische Rohre, bei Unterbrechung des Transportes, aber Aufrechterhaltung der Eigenrotation nach einer gewünschten Temperaturkurve wärmebehandeln. Während des gesamten Transportes durch den Durchlaufofen ist ein Umsetzen von einem Transportmittel auf ein anderes Transportmittel nicht erforderlich. Da innerhalb des Ofenraums nur die Stützrollen für die wärmezubehandelnden Gegenstände angeordnet sind, die anderen mechanischen Teile, wie Antrieb, außerhalb des Ofenraums, hält sich der Aufwand für hochhitzebeständige Teile in Grenzen.

Claims (4)

  1. Durchlaufofen zur Wärmebehandlung von zylindrischen Gegenständen, insbesondere keramischen Rohren (24), mit einem von einer in Durchlaufrichtung stationären Ofendecke (12), gegenüberliegenden Seitenwänden (14,15,18,19) und einem Boden (16) begrenzten, durch Trennwände (17) in mehrere Kammern (T₁,T₂,W,B,K₁,K₂) aufgeteilten Ofenraum und darin dicht hintereinander angeordneten Wagen (4) für die Gegenstände (24), die jeweils an ihren stirnseitigen Enden eine der Trennwände (17) und einen Abschnitt des Ofenbodens (16) tragen, bei dem die Seitenwände (14,15,18,19) zumindest in ihrem unteren Bereich in Durchlaufrichtung als bewegliche Teile (18,19), die von dem Wagen (4) getragen sind, ausgebildet sind, und die Wagen (4) mit Tragrollen (22,23) für die Gegenstände (24) bestückt sind, die sich durch die Seitenwandteile (18,19) erstrecken und mit außerhalb des Ofenraums auf dem Wagen (4) angeordneten Antrieben (25) gekuppelt sind.
  2. Durchlaufofen nach Anspruch 1,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Ofendecke (12) und gegebenenfalls die oberen Seitenwandteile (14,15) anhebbar ist beziehungsweise sind.
  3. Durchlaufofen nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in den oberen Seitenwandteilen (14,15) Öffnungen (26,27) für Brenner und Luftdüsen angeordnet sind.
  4. Durchlaufofen nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß unter oder neben dem Ofen eine Rückfahrbahn (3) für den Wagen (4) sich in Durchlaufrichtung erstreckt und daß für die Wagen (4) eine zwischen dieser Rückfahrbahn (3) und der Fahrbahn (2) des Ofenraums verkehrende Umsetzvorrichtung, insbesondere Hebebühne (7,8) vorgesehen ist.
