Definitions

  • the invention relates to a yarn, in particular
  • Sewing thread with at least one basic thread and at least one hot-melt adhesive thread serving to glue the thread composite, and to a method and a device for producing this thread.
  • the adhesive thread provided in such yarns has the purpose of strengthening and gluing the yarn composite or the twisted composite.
  • the twists or twists of the threads should be fixed so that they cannot move against one another during sewing, for example.
  • this adhesive bonding or bonding must be sufficiently elastic and flexible so that no wire yarn or wire thread is produced.
  • REPLACEMENT LEAF I rests on the idea of twisting the thermoplastic adhesive thread with the base threads in such a way that it comes to lie in the twisting center as far as possible and the base threads twisted under increased tension to seal the adhesive thread from the outside.

  • a method provided in the context of the invention for producing the yarn according to the invention in which at least one base filament yarn is combined with at least one melt-adhesive adhesive filament yarn to form a yarn composite and bonded to one another by a heat treatment which triggers the adhesive effect, is characterized in that the multifilament base filament yarn and the multifilament adhesive filament yarn is swirled together by air-blast texturing and then fixed lengths of the swirled yarn composite are each subjected to the heat treatment.
  • the method provides that the base filament yarns and the adhesive filament yarns are fed to the air-blast texturing process with different advance deliveries. • one way of carrying out the process is that the base filament yarn with a low pre-delivery, in which the individual filaments only open to one another, and the adhesive filament yarn with a higher pre-delivery ⁇ are fed. In this way, a well-bonded core-effect yarn structure is achieved with the method according to the invention.
  • Another embodiment consists in that the base filament yarn and the adhesive filament yarn are supplied with approximately the same advance delivery, in which the individual filaments of the base filament yarn and the adhesive filament yarn are swirled evenly among one another. Abstract
