  • This invention relates to a trouser hanger provided with a trouser retention bar.
  • Clothes hangers are known provided with a transverse bar on which the trousers to be supported are disposed. It is also known to retain the trousers disposed in this manner by a tape fixed at its ends to said bar and passing about the trousers to keep them adhering to the bar and prevent them gradually sliding off it if, as is frequently the case, their weight is not balanced and they are subjected to jolting during transportation, particularly on vehicles.
  • Such known trouser hangers have however certain drawbacks, and in particular: - a lengthy and laborious operation is involved in hanging the trousers on the bar and fixing the trouser retention tape to it, - it is difficult to use them for more than one pair of trousers because of the limited dimensions of the generally small passage between the bar and tape, - they are formed from a number of separate pieces which have to be assembled together, so increasing production costs.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a trouser hanger which enables trousers to be hung on it and fixed in a simple and comfortable manner, which adapts to their thickness and which is of simple and economical construction.
