- the glass holding recesses have been described as being of particular sizes, they may be of any other shape and size. In general, it is envisaged that they will substantially define the outer surface of the lower portion of a glass, bottle, cup or other container which they are intended to hold. Indeed, it is envisaged that some of the smaller recesses, particularly those extending into the pad supporting surface would be ideally suited for holding bottles of soft drink mixers. In which cases, it is envisaged that the circular wall will converge at a relatively small angle to the vertical just sufficient to enable the trays to nest, while at the same time substantially defining the outer surface of the lower portion of such a bottle.
