Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren zum Bedrucken von hochkant in einem Drucker vorschiebbaren Formularen (2) nach dem Matrixdruckverfahren erfolgt der Druck auf dem Hochformat entweder in horizontal lesbarer Schrift oder in senkrecht zur Papiervorschubrichtung lesbarer Schrift.
Um die Verhältnisse bezüglich Qualität, Geschwindigkeit und Druckelementbetätigungsfolge beim Drucken eines Schriftbildes in einem Hoch- oder Querformat zu verbessern, wird vorgeschlagen, daß ein Druckkopf eingesezt wird, dessen Druckelementreihe unter einem spitzen Winkel zur Vertikalen oder zur Horizontalen verläuft, wobei die Druckelementreihe in einem oder in mehreren Zeichenmatrixfeldern verläuft und wobei die Zeichen gleichzeitig in einer oder in mehreren Zeilen bzw. Spalten gedruckt werden. Dadurch sind die Verhältnisse beim Horizontaldrucken und Vertikaldrucken vollständig gleich.
