Claims (3)

  1. Absorptionsschalldämpfer für Explosionsmotoren, insbesondere für Geländefahrzeuge, der ein perforiertes Austrittsrohr (5) umfaßt, auf das eine Füllung (13) aus hitzebeständigem und schalldämpfendem Material aufgewickelt ist, sowie einen Mantel (1) aus hitzebeständigem Material, der dazu bestimmt ist, auf dem Austrittsrohr (5) unter Zwischenfügung des Füllmaterials (13) vermittels zweier Ringdichtungen (20, 21) befestigt zu werden, von denen die eine (20) vorne und die andere (21) hinten angeordnet ist und die aus hitzebeständigem und teilweise elastischem Material bestehen und im übrigen so ausgebildet sind, daß sie die Dichtheit des Mantels in bezug auf das Austrittsgas sicherstellen,
       dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Mantel zwei Teile (10,18) umfaßt, daß diese Teile (10,18) des Mantels Ende an Ende durch Falzeingriff zusammenfügbar sind, daß die Ringdichtungen (20,21) mit einer Ringnut (22,23) versehen sind, die einem ringförmigen Sitz (14,12) der Teile (10,18) des Mantels (1) entspricht, und daß das Austrittsrohr (5) entsprechend der vorderen Dichtung (20) mit einem elastischen Metallring (50) mit einem Stoppanschlag (51) versehen ist.
  2. Schalldämpfer nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Ringdichtungen (20,21) jeweils einstückig aus Silikon oder aus Viton hergestellt sind.
  3. Schalldämpfer nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die beiden Teile (10,18) des Mantels (1) aus einem synthetischen thermoplastischen Material, wie beispielsweise Nylon oder PPS, durch ein Rotationsgußverfahren hergestellt sind.
