Abstract

Bei einer Stauchpresse (1) zur Reduktion der Breite von Walz­ gut, insbesondere der Brammenbreite in Warmbreitband-Vor­ straßen, mit beidseitig zur Brammenkante angeordneten, die aufeinander zuweisenden Preßwerkzeuge (7) aufnehmenden Werk­ zeugträgern (8) wird vorgeschlagen, daß zur Ausbildung eines Reduktionsantriebes (12) jedes Preßwerkzeug mit dem zugehöri­ gen Werkzeugträger mit Hilfe eines von mindestens einem Kurbeltrieb (15) betätigten Lenkersystems (16) im wesentlichen in Richtung der Reduktion bewegbar ist, wobei der Kurbel­ trieb an einem Kurbelgehäuse (9) angeordnet ist und daß am Werkzeugträger (8) mindestens ein im wesentlichen in Richtung des Brammenvorschubs wirkender Vorschubantrieb (13) angreif­ bar ist.
