Abstract
Les substances dangereuses sont normalement transportées par des camions citernes qui font l'objet d'exigences de sécurité de niveau élevé, rendant les transports non seulement dangereux mais également coûteux. C'est pour cette raison qu'on incite les destinataires à acheter les substances en grandes quantités lesquelles se retrouvent à leur tour face à un risque accru de pollution de l'environnement. La présente invention décrit un conteneur citerne (2) conçu comme une citerne de sécurité mobile (4) ayant un volume ne dépassant pas 5000 litres environ et étant reliée rigide à un bâti porteur (16), lequel est pourvu de brides d'angle de conteneur standard (24) et de passages destinés à recevoir des fourches de levage, l'unité de citerne étant optimisée pour permettre un transport et une manutention sûrs et étant conçue pour être transportée de la façon la plus sûre, par bateau ou par chemin de fer et naturellement également par camion. Les destinataires peuvent par conséquent acheter les substances en quantités plus petites et ils peuvent même utiliser les unités de citernes comme réservoirs de stockage, ce qui permet de réduire le nombre d'installations fixes de réservoirs.
