Claims (4)

  1. Procédé de production d'un fil destiné à des champs d'herbe artificielle, par extrusion d'un granulé de polymère en bandes ou en un film, découpe du film en bandes et étirage des bandes, caractérisé en ce que des bandes de 100 µm d'épaisseur et 1,5 à 4 mm de large sont étirées pour un rapport d'étirage de 1:2 à 3 en bandes de 0,75 à 3 mm de large, alors que la bande extrudée présente une épaisseur égale à 50 à 80 % de son épaisseur d'origine et que 5 à 10 bandes sont ensuite tordues en un fil.
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les bandes ont 2 à 3 mm de large après l'extrusion et 1 à 2 mm de large après l'étirage durant lequel l'épaisseur de la bande devient égale à 50 à 70 % de son épaisseur d'origine.
  3. Procédé selon les revendications 1 et 2, caractérisé en ce qu'on utilise comme granulé de polymère un copolymère bloc comprenant du propylène.
  4. Procédé selon les revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que les bandes utilisées ont un titre de fil de 900 à 1350 dtex.
