- the louvre strips need only be folded about lines which lie at a distance from one another, i.e. in order to shape the base of the triangular cross-section. This makes it possible to give the strips an accurate, pre-determined shape, the more so since the lateral edge portions lie sideways against one another. Such an accurate shape could not be realised if the strips, for example, should have had a circularly bent surface remote from the luminous window instead of a surface coinciding with the base of a triangle.
- the lateral edge portions bear on one another under pressure for extra stability.
- This pressure may be generated through elastic deformation in the louvre strip material.
- the surface remote from the luminous window may give local reflections onto other mirroring surfaces, especially in reflectorizing louvre attachments, for example on the first and the second reflector.
- this effect is counteracted by means of several tongues which have been punched from said surface and pressed to the outside. It is favourable if the tongues belong to a first and a second series, which point in mutually opposing directions. The series may be positioned separately or intermixed.
- the luminaire of Fig. 1 has a housing 1 comprising a luminous window 2 and means 3 for holding an elongate lamp having a longitudinal direction 4 in said housing 1 along said window 2 and for connecting said lamp to a supply source, the means 3 defining the said longitudinal direction 4.

- a U-shaped bent fluorescent lamp or a fluorescent lamp consisting of parallel series-connected closed tube sections could be used in a luminaire of adapted dimensions, the luminaire comprising means suitable for holding and connecting the lamp in question.

Claims (5)
- Appareil d'éclairage comportant:- un boîtier (1) présentant une fenêtre lumineuse (2),- des moyens (3) conçus pour recevoir dans ladite fenêtre lumineuse (2) une lampe allongée s'étendant dans une direction longitudinale (4) et pour relier ladite lampe à une source d'alimentation, lesdits moyens définissant ladite direction longitudinale,- une grille de défilement métallique (5) disposée dans la fenêtre lumineuse (2), comportant un premier (6) et un second réflecteur (7) s'étendant dans la direction longitudinale (4) de la lampe, interconnectés par plusieurs bandes de grille parallèles (8) présentant des coutures (10), en coupe transversale lesdites bandes sont courbées sensiblement en triangle à partir d'une bande présentant des parties de bord latérales (9), ledit triangle ayant son angle de sommet (11) situé dans la fenêtre lumineuse (2) et sa base à l'intérieur du boîtier (1) dans un plan (12) à l'opposé de la fenêtre lumineuse, triangle dont les jambes (13) s'étendent de façon courbée l'une vers l'autre,caractérisé en ce que les bandes de grille (8) ont leur couture (10) située dans la fenêtre lumineuse (2) et en ce que les parties de bord latérales (9) de chaque bande de grille (8) se situent latéralement l'une contre l'autre.
- Appareil d'éclairage selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que les parties de bord latérales (9) sont pressées l'une contre l'autre.
- Appareil d'éclairage selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que les bandes de grille (8) présentent une couche réfléchissante.
- Appareil d'éclairage selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que la surface (12) des bandes de grille (8) située à l'opposé de la fenêtre lumineuse (2) présente plusieurs languettes (14) découpées dans ladite surface et pliées vers l'extérieur.
- Appareil d'éclairage selon la revendication 4, caractérisé en ce que les languettes (14) appartiennent à une première (15) et à une deuxième série (16) orientées en directions mutuellement opposées.
