- the object of the invention is to improve the service life of the resilient pressure contacts in the direction of increasing the number of possible contact strokes, to increase the reliability by avoiding or reducing strand breaks, to reduce the overall manual production effort and at the same time to increase the current carrying capacity.
- Fig. 1 the basic structure of a resilient pressure contact can be seen. Thereafter, a metallic contact head 2 made of solid material with contact pieces 1 is mounted in a guide sleeve 3 so that it cannot rotate, but is displaceable. A compression spring 4 holds the contact head in the position shown. During a coupling process, a force P presses in the direction of the arrow and the contact head 2 is pressed - here to the right - by pressing the compression spring 4. The electrical connection is made via a screw bolt 5, the current transfer from the fixed connecting plate 7 to the movable contact head 2 via various copper strands or bands 6 is effected. The latter are introduced with a twist and soldered at the ends.
