Definitions

  • the invention relates to a hair clipper of the type corresponding to the preamble of claim 1.
  • Such a hair clipper is known as a shaving and hair clipper from DE-C-392 773.
  • a normal double-sided razor blade is used, which can be attached to the cutter head by a releasable clamping device, as is known from the well-known hand-held razors.
  • This clamping device comprises a slightly curved plate covering the razor blade except for the cutting edges, which can be tightened against a correspondingly curved base by means of a screw which, in the middle, penetrates a hole in the razor blade and thereby clamps the razor blade located therebetween.
  • the clamping device is complex to manufacture and, due to the essentially linear arrangement, cannot ensure that the razor blade is clamped free of vibration in the vicinity of the cutting edge.
  • the invention has for its object to improve a generic hair clipper.
  • the blades are simply inserted lengthways from the outside into the holders and, due to this process, are already under tension and are vibration-proof due to the flat system, without the need for further measures.
  • the definition does not require the separation of parts that can be separated from one another and can be lost.
  • the blade can be arranged opposite the roller according to claim 4.
  • peripheral surface of the peripheral webs leads to the fact that a type of edge is formed on the two flanks of the peripheral webs, which prevents the strand of hair resting on this peripheral web from sliding sideways into one of the adjacent peripheral grooves.
  • the hair strands lying on the outside and which have entered the circumferential grooves on the inside and are preferably exposed to the cutting action are effectively separated in this way.
  • the rollers have thread-like circumferential grooves, the purpose of which is to move the hair a little in the axial direction when the rollers are rotated in order to achieve a pulling cut.
  • the circumferential webs are so narrow here that the hair cannot find a hold on the outer circumference thereof and the entirety of the hair of a strand is found on the base of the circumferential grooves.
  • the cutting edge is assigned individual rollers lined up on an axis, which are intended to prevent the cutting edge of the razor from penetrating into the skin during shaving and which their rotation should remove the soap foam and the cut hair. In a cut through the axis, the rollers have circumferential webs with a rounded outer circumference, which the strands of hair cannot hold.
  • the depressions in the circumferential surface of the circumferential webs can be designed in detail in the ways specified in claims 7 to 9, the selection of which takes place depending on the desired thinning effect.
  • rollers can be designed in the manner set out in claim 10.
  • the circumferential webs are designed here only as relatively thin disks, which only have the purpose of keeping the fingers away and preventing cuts on the cutting edge.
  • the embodiment according to claim 11 results in a role for a pronounced effect cut, in which the strand is displaced along the cutting edge during movement through the helically wound circumferential web.
  • the hair clipper of FIG. 1, designated as a whole by 10, consists of a molded plastic part and comprises an elongated handle 1, from which a knife head 2 extends upwards, which is essentially plate-shaped and has a front flat side 3 and a rear flat side 4 ( 3).
  • a knife head 2 extends upwards
  • the recesses 11, 12 form niches in which the rollers 8, 9 find space.
  • the ends 6 ', 6 ⁇ of the axis 6 engage in the end faces of the roller 8 overlapping parts 33,34 of the cutter head 2.
  • a groove-like recess 13 is provided which extends over its length and corresponds to a same recess 14 in the left half of the flat side 4 arranged symmetrically to the axis 5.
  • holders 15 in the form of elongated sheet metal strips which are bent around a longitudinal axis by more than 180 ° are glued or otherwise fastened and have resilient legs 16, 17, between which a strip-shaped blade 18 with a blade over the longitudinal edge 27 the leg 16, 17 is arranged between these laterally protruding cutting edge 19.
  • Plastic strips 21, 22 are arranged on both sides of the blade 18, which cover the flat sides of the blade 18 and are inserted together with the blade 18 as a package according to FIG. 1 from above into the holder 15, as indicated by the arrow 23 in FIG. 1 is indicated.
  • the axis 7 of the roller 9 lies in the central plane 25 outside the cutting edge 19, but the circumference of the roller 9 still covers the cutting edge 19, and the blade plane 44 forms an angle 24 of approximately 5 ° to 20 ° with the central plane 25 of the cutter head 2 , in the example 10 °.
  • the roller 8 is a smooth cylindrical roller.
  • the roller 9, however, has circumferential grooves 26 distributed over its length at regular intervals.
  • a strand is passed by hand over the roller 8 and the blade 19 of the upper blade in FIG. 3 and rear blade 18 in FIG. 1 is attacked by turning the handle 1 slightly.
  • the result is a smooth cut, it being possible to determine by appropriate rotation of the handle 1 whether a cut should be made deep into the streak or whether a cut that is gradually becoming deeper should be produced.
  • the hair clipper 10 is turned through 180 °, so that the roller 9 takes the place of the roller 8.
  • a strand passed over the roller 9 partially enters the circumferential grooves 26, and only these hair strands are gripped by the cutting edge 19.
  • the boundaries 31 of the recess 11 and 32 of the recess 12 run towards the operating side of the hair clipper 10 obliquely from the respective roller 8 or 9, so that the operator from the operating side through the respective recess 11 or 12 one Has a view of the cutting edges 19 and the working of the device.
  • the embodiment 20 of FIG. 2 corresponds to that of FIG. 1 with the exception of the rollers 38, 39, which in the exemplary embodiment are designed as counter-rotating screws with particularly deep threads, the cross section of which in a plane passing through the roller axis roughly corresponds to the shape of a slightly oblique one "V" has. If one of the rollers 38, 39 is guided along a strand of hair when working with the hair clipper 20, the rotation of the rollers 38, 39 results in a shift of the hair strands that have entered the individual thread turns in the axial direction of the rollers 38, 39 and thereby a pulling effect -Cut.
  • a removable protective cap 37 is indicated, which can consist of a transparent plastic and is slipped over the cutter head 2 when the hair clipper is not in use.
  • partially spherical elevations 35 or transverse ribs 36 are provided on the handle 1 below the cutter head.
  • cross-sectional shapes of the circumferential webs 49 of the roller 9 are shown on an enlarged scale. The same cross-sectional shapes also come into consideration for the finely divided roller 9 '.

  • an edge increase is formed on the flanks 51 of the circumferential web 49 'or 49 ⁇ or 49 ⁇ ', which means that an overlying strand of hair is prevented from slipping into the adjacent circumferential grooves 26 and is pushed toward the center of the depression.
  • the circumferential grooves 26 have a rectangular cross section, i.e. its cylindrical base extends coaxially to the axis of the roller 9, so that the hair lying on the base is simultaneously gripped by the cutting edge 19. In the area of the flanks 51 of the circumferential webs 49 there is a distinct step in the height of the hair. For the roller 9 'and the circumferential grooves 28, the same applies.
  • the handle 1 is kept slimmer than in the embodiments of FIGS. 1, 2 and 4 and approximately in the middle of its length with a widening 1 'provided for ergonomic reasons. This embodiment facilitates turning the hair clipper 40 in the hand.
