Claims (9)
- Machine à relier pour arrondir le dos de livres à relier, comportant un dispositif transporteur enserrant le livre et un dispositif d'arrondissure qui agit sur le livre lorsque celui-ci est libéré par le dispositif transporteur, où ledit dispositif transporteur est constitué de pinces à livre (2) se déplaçant de manière continue sur une voie sans fin et où ledit dispositif d'arrondissure est entraîné de manière synchrone avec les pinces à livre lelong d'un tronçon déterminé de la voie caractérisée en ce que le dispositif d'arrondissure comporte deux rouleaux (7), (8) qui agissent de part et d'autre sur le livre à relier (1) par un mouvement de rotation déterminé et par pression et qui, en vue d'effectuer l'arrondissure, sont déplaçables en va-et-vient à travers des évidements (3a), (4a) ménagés dans les mâchoires de serrage (3), (4) des pinces à livre (2) pour s'approcher et s'éloigner des pages du livre à relier.
- Machine à relier selon la revendication 1 caractérisée en ce que les rouleaux (7), (8) sont déplaçables verticalement dans les évidements (3a), (4a) des mâchoires de serrage (3), (4) et en ce que le mouvement vertical des rouleaux (7), (8) se superpose à leur mouvement de rotation de façon à compenser le mouvement vertical du livre (1) résultant du mouvement de rotation des rouleaux, les feuilles extérieures, respectivement les feuilles d'impression, étant de préférence maintenues à un niveau constant.
- Machine à relier selon la revendication 2 caractérisée en ce que le mouvement de rotation des rouleaux (7), (8) est dérivé de leur mouvement vertical.
- Machine à relier selon les revendications 1 à 3 caractérisée en ce que les rouleaux (7), (8) sont montés sur des leviers pivotants (14), (15) qui sont disposés sur une plaque de support (10b) déplaçable verticalement et qui se déplaçent en va-et-vient grâce à des moyens de commande (16) pour s'approcher et s'éloigner des pages du livre à relier (1).
- Machine à relier selon les revendications 1 à 4 caractérisee en ce que les rouleaux (7), (8) peuvent être entraîneés en rotation par un dispositif d'entraînement (13), (23 à 29) des leviers pivotants (14), (15), la roue dentée (23) du dispositif d'entraînement peignant avec une crémaillère fixe (22), (22a) du fait du mouvement vertical des leviers pivotants.
- Machine à relier selon les revendications 1 à 5 caractérisée en ce que la plaque de support (10b) est portée par une plaque de base (10a) par l'intermédiaire de moyens de guidage verticaux (17) et est déplaçable entre des positions extrêmes inférieure et supérieure.
- Machine à relier selon les revendications 1 à 6 caractérisée en ce qu' un dispositif d'entraînement (30 à 33) coopère avec la plaque de base (10a) en faisant avancer et reculer, lelong du chemin de déplacement des pinces à livre (2), ladite plaque de base (10a) ensemble avec la plaque de support (10b) et les leviers pivotants (14), (15) portant les rouleaux (7), (8).
- Machine à relier selon les revendications 1 à 7 caractérisée en ce que la distance entre les rouleaux (7), (8) est réglable par un changement de position du levier pivotant (14) portant le rouleau extérieur (7) par rapport au levier pivotant (15) lui faisant face.
- Machine à relier selon les revendications 1 à 8 caractérisée par au moins un autre dispositif d'arrondissure permettant l'arrondissure simultanée de plusieurs livres à relier (1).
