Definitions

  • the invention relates to a cassette for storing objects, in particular tools such as twist drills, taps, bit inserts, adapters and the like.
  • a base part an articulated cover part connected to the base part and at least one pivot insert mounted in the base part with receptacles for the objects, the cover part being connected to the swivel insert arranged adjacent to it via a connecting member for the automatic entrainment of the swivel insert, as well as with a receiving compartment for a handle, tool shank or the like Page is arranged.
  • Such a cassette is known for example from DE-U-8514919.
  • cassettes are used in particular for tools which consist of a large number of individual tool parts of generally graduated size or dimension and a shaft, grip part or the like, with which the tool parts are connected as needed for their use and better handling. Often, however, there is also the desire to additionally accommodate certain other tools in the cassette, regardless of the tool parts mentioned. For this purpose, it is known to provide an additional storage compartment in the bottom part of the cassette.
  • the disadvantage here is that, in contrast to the pivoting inserts pivoting out of the base part for easier removal of the tools, the objects accommodated in the receiving compartment can often only be removed with difficulty, in particular when it is a matter of cylindrical objects which also almost cover the space of the receiving compartment fill out completely.
  • the invention has for its object to design a cassette of the type mentioned in such a way that, after opening the cassette, the objects stored in the receiving compartment are brought into a position which facilitates their removal.
  • the advantage achieved by the invention consists essentially in that when the cassette is opened one or more walls of the receiving compartment are adjusted, which results in an enlarged cross-sectional area of the receiving compartment which facilitates access to the tool and / or a lifting of the tool.
  • the tool can either be gripped more easily in the receptacle or protrudes upwards from the receptacle in such a way that easy access to the objects in the swivel insert is provided and correspondingly easy removal is possible.
  • the push rod can perform an adjustment movement towards the receiving compartment or in the opposite direction when the cover part is opened.
  • the push rod when the swivel insert is set in the removal position, is connected on the side of the hinge axis of the swivel insert facing the receiving compartment between the latter and the side wall of the base part, so that when the cassette is opened, a pushing movement takes place toward the receiving compartment .
  • the push rod is connected to the pivoting insert facing away from the cover part.
  • the cassette consists of two or more swivel inserts, in which the second or the further swivel inserts on the first swivel insert, which is connected via the connecting element to the cover part, is or are pivotable eccentrically to its hinge axis, then the push rod can, in an expedient embodiment of the invention be connected in the pivot bearing of the second or the further pivot inserts.
  • the side wall of the base part which is opposite the hinge axis of the cover part and which forms a wall of the receiving compartment, is designed to be pivotable outwards and is connected in an articulated manner to the push rod.
  • the side wall is advantageously formed by one leg of an L-profile, the other leg of which, when the cassette is closed, is arranged parallel and at a short distance from the bottom surface of the base part, the L-profile being provided on the end face with connecting lugs on which the swivel joint is arranged and the push rod is articulated.
  • the wall of the receiving compartment opposite the pivotable wall can expediently be formed by an L-profile connected to the bottom surface of the bottom part.
  • a second, likewise advantageous embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the free end of the push rod is provided with a run-on slope on the upper edge facing the cover part and the receiving compartment has a base plate which is arranged around a In the longitudinal direction of the push rod, an approximately parallel axis is pivotable in the area of the bottom surface of the base part and has a sliding surface in contact with the run-up slope on the underside of the push rod.
  • the run-on slope can expediently be provided with an edge strip which is oriented perpendicular to the push rod and protrudes towards the base plate.
  • the sliding surface is expediently formed by a tab bent out from the plane of the base plate approximately parallel to the run-on slope.
  • the base plate carries on its edge facing away from the sliding surface a bearing pin which engages in a recess in the partition wall delimiting the receiving compartment on the base part.
  • the base plate is raised only at one end, namely where the push rod engages.
  • the invention provides a second base plate in the receiving compartment, which is also in the area of the base surface of the base part is connected in an articulated manner to the axis parallel to the other base plate, the two base plates crossing like scissors and being connected to one another in an articulated manner in the area of intersection. Therefore, if one of the two base plates is raised, the second is also adjusted accordingly via the scissor-like connection, so that the tool resting on the two base plates is shifted upward, essentially axially parallel.
  • the two base plates are each provided with a slot running parallel to the hinge axis, which extends from the center in opposite directions to the edge, each slot being the other Takes up the base plate and the slot has a width that allows mutual play.
  • an insert part is pivotally mounted on one of the swivel inserts, which has a stop on the push rod that limits the swivel movement for each of its two swivel directions. Since the push rod essentially maintains its horizontal position, this makes it possible to also keep the insert part in a horizontal orientation, although this would in itself endeavor to take part in the pivoting movement of the pivot insert.
  • the push rod thus serves as a kind of guide, as a result of which the insert part only experiences an extension stroke as a result of its eccentric mounting during the installation of the swivel insert.
  • the insert part in a particularly simple design as U-profile be formed, the two legs of the U-profile receive the push rod between them and each form the stop.
  • an insert part is pivotally mounted on one of the swivel inserts, to which the push rod is firmly connected.
  • the insert part and the push rod can then be formed in one piece with one another and formed from a single sheet metal blank.
  • the cassette shown in the drawing is used to store objects, in particular tools and tool parts such as twist drills, taps, bit inserts, adapters and the like.
  • the cassette consists of a base part 1, a hinged cover part 2 and at least one that is connected to the base part 1 a swivel insert 3, 4 which is pivotally mounted in the base part 1 and is provided with receptacles 5 for the objects.
  • the cover part 2 is connected to the swivel insert 3 arranged adjacent to it via a connecting member 6, which means that the swivel insert 3 is automatically carried when the cassette is opened. Furthermore, the cassette has a receiving compartment 7 for a handle, a tool shank or the like, which is arranged in the base part 1 on the side facing away from the hinge axis 8, 9 of the cover part 2 or the swivel insert 3.
  • a pushrod 10 extending to the receiving compartment 7 is articulated on the swivel insert 4 eccentrically to the swivel axis 9 and is essentially adjustable in its longitudinal direction via the swivel insert 4.
  • this push rod 10 adjusts at least one of the walls of the receiving compartment 7 into one such a position that the removal of the object stored in the receiving compartment 7 is then facilitated.
  • the push rod 10 when the swivel insert 3, 4 is placed in the removal position, is on the side of the hinge axis 9 of the swivel insert 3, 4 facing the receiving compartment 7 between the latter and the side wall 1.1 of the base part 1 connected. As a result, the push rod 10 performs a movement toward the receiving compartment 7 when the cassette is opened.
  • FIGS. 1 to 5 each have two mutually entraining pivot inserts 3, 4 which can be pivoted about a common axis 9.
  • the push rod 10 is connected to the swivel insert 4 facing away from the cover part 2, which results in a relatively large adjustment stroke for the push rod 10.
  • the side wall 1.1 of the base part opposite the hinge axis 8 of the cover part 2, which forms a wall of the receiving compartment 7, is designed to be pivotable outwards and is also articulated to the push rod 10.
  • the clear opening cross section of the receiving compartment 7 increases, so that the tool accommodated therein can be gripped more easily.
  • the side wall 1.1 is formed by one leg of an L-profile, the other leg 1.2 of which is arranged parallel and at a short distance from the bottom surface 1.3 of the bottom part 1 when the cassette is closed.
  • the L-profile is provided on the end face with connecting lugs 11, on which the swivel joint 12 for the side wall 1.1 is arranged and the push rod 10 is connected in an articulated manner.
  • the wall 13 of the receiving compartment 7 opposite the pivotable wall 1.1 is also formed by an L-profile, one leg 13.1 of which is firmly connected to the bottom surface 1.3 of the bottom part 1.
  • the free end of the push rod 10 is in each case provided with a run-on bevel 14 on the upper edge facing the cover part 2.
  • the receiving compartment 7 each has a base plate 15 which can be pivoted about an axis approximately parallel to the longitudinal direction of the push rod 10 in the region of the base surface 1.3 of the base part 1.
  • the base plate 15 has on its underside a sliding surface 16 which lies against the run-on slope 14.
  • the run-up slope 14 is provided with an edge strip 17 which is oriented perpendicular to the push rod 10 and protrudes towards the base plate 15.
  • the sliding surface 16 is formed by a tab bent out of the plane of the base plate 15 approximately parallel to the bevel 14. This results in a largely frictionless run of the run-up slope 14 on the sliding surface 16, whereby a safe and reliable adjustment of the moving parts of the cassette is achieved.
  • the bottom plate 15 carries on its edge facing away from the sliding surface 16 a bearing pin 18 which delimits the recess in the receiving compartment 7 Partition 13 engages in the bottom part 1.
  • a second bottom plate 15 can be provided in a manner not shown in the drawing in the receiving compartment 7, which is also articulated in the area of the bottom surface 1.3 of the bottom part 1 with an axis parallel to the other bottom plate 15 is.
  • the two base plates 15 intersect like scissors and are articulated in the intersection area. This makes it possible to swing open both base plates 15 simultaneously with only one push rod 10, so that the object is lifted evenly at both ends.
  • the articulated connection of the two base plates 15 can be achieved in that they are each provided with a slot 19, which is shown in FIG. 3 and is dashed at one base plate 15 and runs parallel to the hinge axis, extending from the center in the opposite direction to Edge extends.
  • Each slot 19 accommodates the other base plate 15; the two base plates 15 are thus inserted into one another in the region of their slot 19.
  • the slot 19 In order to achieve the required play of the two base plates 15, the slot 19 must have a sufficient width.
  • an insert part 20 is pivotally mounted on the swivel insert 3, the receiving openings of which are always directed upwards and which is overlapped by the swivel insert 3 when the cassette is closed. This prevents the Swivel insert 3 a falling out of the objects stored in the insert 20.
  • the insert 20 must therefore maintain a substantially identical position regardless of the pivoting movement of the pivot insert 3, but should be moved to a suitable position to facilitate the removal of the objects accommodated therein. The latter is achieved by the insert part 20 being eccentrically supported relative to the axis of rotation 9 of the swivel insert 3.
  • the insert part 20 has a stop on the push rod 10 which limits the pivoting movement for each of its two pivoting directions. This lends itself to the extent that the push rod 10 essentially only executes a movement stroke in its longitudinal direction.
  • the insert 20 can be designed as a U-profile, the two legs of the U-profile receiving the push rod 10 between them and each forming the stop.
  • the push rod 10 is firmly connected to the insert part 20 which is pivotably mounted on one of the swivel inserts 3, 4.
  • the insert 20 and the push rod 10 can then be formed in one piece with one another and formed from a single sheet metal blank.
