Definitions

  • the invention relates to a cardboard box for the packaging and presentation of goods or packs of goods, consisting of a coherent blank with pre-embossed fold lines, which can be folded out to form a particularly cuboid hollow body, the area forming the cover surface having flaps formed by incisions at a distance from one another, which around Fold lines aligned parallel to a footprint can be folded inwards from the plane of the cover surface into the hollow body and divide its interior into individual compartments.
  • a cardboard box of the specified type is known from US-A-2 818 971.
  • the foldable flaps require special attachment to the rear wall by means of a tab, e.g. by sticking.
  • the flap reduces the possible depth of the individual compartments and thus the capacity of the cardboard box.
  • the individual compartments for the presentation and removal of the goods are not divided again. This is particularly disadvantageous for smaller goods or packs of goods.
  • a goods rack is also known with four walls which are articulated at their edges to form a square tube forming a jacket, so that it can be folded flat for transport and storage.
  • a diagonal wall inside the pipe, articulated to one of the pipe edges is connected, protrudes into the opposite pipe edge when the goods rack is open.
  • recesses are provided in the walls of the tube shell and in the diagonal wall, which are used to hold the goods to be exhibited, the size of the recesses being able to be optimally adapted to the size of the goods.
  • plates or boards can be placed on the lower edges of the cutouts.
  • this known goods stand is only suitable for the presentation of goods, but not for their transportation. In particular, it is not suitable for setting smaller goods or packs of goods, since the cutouts are open to the interior.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a completely flat design cardboard box containing all the elements in a simple cut, of which the individual compartments are each subdivided into at least two chambers and the flaps are held in a simple manner and which are high Has stability.
  • a cardboard box is created, which is closed at least on the back and comprises several separate compartments into which individual goods or packs of goods can be placed in order to be able to transport or ship them packed together.
  • the compartments are divided into two compartments by the bridge so that small items or packs can be stored and presented separately.
  • the flaps are held and supported in the folded position by the interlocking of flaps and web. Additional flaps on the back or in the side walls are therefore not necessary to secure the flaps in position.
  • the cardboard packaging according to the invention is simple and inexpensive to manufacture. Since it consists of a single contiguous blank, it can be spread out flat, as is desired for storage and transport reasons. Unfolding the cardboard packaging according to the invention is simple and requires a minimum of time.
  • the cardboard packaging according to the invention can be set upright, more or less inclined, a tongue that can be folded into the setting level enlarges the setting-up area and thus ensures the necessary stability.
  • the set-up box according to the invention requires a comparatively small footprint, for example on the counter, and the individual compartments and compartments are clearly visible and accessible one above the other, so that the goods or packs of goods can easily be removed individually from the set-up box.
  • the web has circular sector-shaped cutouts for the folding movement of the flaps, on the cutting edge formed by a secant the flaps can be placed. It can further be provided that the edges of the cutouts formed by secants each coincide with the straight extensions of the fold lines of the flaps.
  • the flaps are then folded over only before they are set up and the goods or packs of goods are then sorted into the compartments that are now accessible through the cover surface.
  • the flaps also have short incisions into which the web engages.
  • the circular sector-shaped cutouts in the web can then be dimensioned correspondingly smaller.
  • the back of the set-up box can consist of two back sections arranged symmetrically on the long sides of the side strips with webs that can be folded inwards.
  • a back section is arranged on the long side of one side strip, which overlaps the back section of the other side strip and is connected to it with suitable connecting means, in particular by gluing.
  • the tongue of the cardboard packaging according to the invention preferably has foldable stiffening inserts in order to achieve the necessary stability even with thin cardboard.
  • the tongue can be arranged on the region of the blank which forms the cover surface, the stiffening projections being formed on both sides of the fold lines which extend into the tongue and run between the cover surface and the side strips.
  • the stiffening lugs can have sections separated by incisions for engaging the back and insertable into the hollow body parallel to the side strips, in order thereby to hold the stiffening lugs in the stiffening position.
  • a flap with an insertion flap is arranged on a back section according to the invention, with which the installation surface is closed. In the set-up position, the tongue is covered from the outside by the tongue.
  • the removal of the goods or packs of goods from the compartments is facilitated by providing the edges of the incisions to form the flaps in the cover surface and in the side strips with cutouts through which the compartments can be reached.
  • the blank of the installation box 1 shown in FIG. 1 has an area in the center delimited by fold lines 2, 3, 4, 5 for forming a cover surface 6.
  • On both long sides of the cover surface 6 there are trapezoidal side strips 7, 8 and back sections 9, 10 which are delimited from one another by fold lines 11, 12 which are parallel to the fold lines 2, 3.
  • On the long side of the back section 9 there is a web 14, divided by a fold line 13, which is provided with cut-outs 15 in the form of a circular sector on its cut edge parallel to the fold line 13.
  • the back section 10 has the same width as the cover surface 6 and carries on its narrow side a flap 16 with an insertion flap 17.
  • the flap 16 is adjacent to a tongue 18 arranged on the narrow side of the cover surface 6 and separated from the cover surface 6 by the fold line 5, which has laterally divided stiffening lugs 19 by extensions of the fold lines 2, 3.
  • the stiffening lugs 19 have incisions 20 in which the back portions 9, 10 can engage.
  • incisions 21 are provided between the side strips 7, 8 and the back sections 9, 10 for the engagement of the stiffening lugs 19.
  • a flap 22 with an insertion tab 23 adjoins the cover surface 6.
  • side flaps 24, 25 are provided on the side strips 7, 8.
  • a number of flaps 27 of essentially rectangular basic shape are separated from the cover surface 6 by incisions 26, each of which can be folded around a fold line 28 parallel to the fold lines 4, 5.
  • the cuts 26 are expanded in the cover surface 6 as well as in the area of the side strips 7, 8 by semicircular cutouts 29.
  • the length of the flaps 27 corresponds to the width of the cover surface 6. Their width corresponds to the width of the side strips 7, 8. They are therefore approximately the same size as the flaps 16 and 22.
  • the openings which are created by folding the flaps 27 in the cover surface 6 are constricted in the region of their lower corners, in order to prevent goods packages arranged on the flaps from slipping out to prevent the openings.
  • FIG. 2 shows the set-up cardboard 1 in the unfolded state, product packages 31 being arranged in the individual compartments for illustration.
  • the side strips 7, 8 are first folded over at right angles along the fold lines 2, 3.
  • the back section 9 is folded around the fold line 11 into a plane parallel to the cover surface 6 and the web 14 is folded over at right angles to the cover surface 6 so that it divides the interior of the cardboard box 1 centrally in the longitudinal direction.
  • the back section 10 is also folded into a plane parallel to the cover surface 6 and attached to the back section 9 by gluing.
  • the two ends of the hollow body thus formed are closed by folding the flaps 16 and 24, 25, 22.
  • the flaps 27 are then folded inwards, laying on the web 14 in the region of the cutouts 15 and thereby being held and supported in a position approximately perpendicular to the cover surface.
  • the incisions 30 in the flaps 27 encompass the web 14 and thereby hold it in a central position.
  • the cardboard box 1 receives a safe footprint, so that it can be set up in a sales-promoting upright position without taking up much space on a counter.
