Definitions

  • the invention has set itself the task of avoiding the disadvantages of the known ski bindings and designing a ski binding of the type mentioned in such a way that the restoring force of the spring acts at a point selectable by the designer and also the spring characteristic can be designed optionally and from external influences, such as temperature , Weather and pollution is largely independent.

Because the second lever arm of the swivel part - viewed in the closed and unloaded position of the ski binding - runs downwards and forwards, it is possible to protect the elastic element in Ski binding housing below to arrange the swivel element. This also makes it possible to use a metal spring which engages at a point on the second lever arm of the pivoting part which is selectable by the designer.
