Description

  • Die Erfindung betrifft ein Etikett, dessen Unterseite mittels einer auf seiner Unterseite befindlichen, in einer Waschflüssigkeit im wesentlichen voll löslichen Haftklebstoffschicht auf einen Gegenstand zu kleben ist. Ein solches Etikett ist nach der EP-A 368 326 bekannt. Etiketten dieser Art dienen insbesondere zum Aufkleben auf Gegenstände aus Kunststoff, insbesondere auf aus Kunststoff bestehende Flaschenkästen.
  • Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, ein Etikett dieser Art anzugeben, das besonders leicht mittels der Waschflüssigkeit von dem Gegenstand gelöst werden kann, auf den es geklebt ist.
  • Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist das Etikett dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Haftklebstoffschicht die Unterseite des Etiketts unter Freilassung unterspülbarer Zonen bedeckt.
  • Das Etikett ist besonders witterungsbeständig, wenig schmutzanfällig und leicht wiederaufbereitbar (recycelbar), wenn es dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß es aus einem einen Kunststoffolienverbund enthaltenden, nach seinem Ablösen von dem Gegenstand wiederaufbereitbaren Verbundmaterial besteht.
  • Beim Wiederaufbereiten eines solchen Etiketts entstehen nicht wie bei einem Papieretikett in der Waschflüssigkeit Papierfasern, die u.a. durch das Verstopfen von Filtern die Wiederaufbereitung erschweren. Vielmehr schwimmt das Etikett auf der Waschflüssigkeit und kann von der Waschflüssigkeit leicht abgetrennt werden.
  • Das gilt auch dann und insbesondere dann, wenn sich - in an sich bekannter Weise - auf der Oberseite des Etiketts ein Aufdruck befindet, der von einer mittels eines Kaschierklebstoffs aufgeklebten, durchsichtigen Kunststoffolie abgedeckt ist.
  • Die Schwimmfähigkeit des Etiketts auf der Waschflüssigkeit ist besonders hoch, wenn der Kunststoffolienverbund des Etiketts eine Vakuolen enthaltende Folie - insbesondere PP-Folie - zwischen zwei keine Vakuolen enthaltenden Folien - insbesondere PP-Folien - aufweist.
  • Eine hohe Fälschungssicherheit erhält man, wenn wenigstens eine der genannten Folien - am besten aber alle genannten Folien - biaxial gereckt ist bzw. sind. Ein mit wenigstens einer derart biaxial gereckten Folie versehenes Etikett verformt sich nämlich beim Abziehen vom Gegenstand und kann nicht wieder verwendet werden.
  • Das Aufbringen des Etiketts auf den Gegenstand erfolgt vorteilhaft durch Ablösen von einem Trägerband, das über eine Umlenkkante gezogen wird in an sich bekannter Weise. Bevorzugt befindet sich das Etikett vor seinem Aufkleben auf die Gegenstände ablösbar auf einem wiederaufbereitbaren Trägermaterial. Als ein solches Trägermaterial hat sich besonders ein Trägermaterial bewährt, das als Unterlage ein Kraftpapier aufweist, auf dem über einen PE-Film eine das Ablösen des Etiketts erleichternde Silikonschicht haftet.
  • Um die Haftung des Etiketts auf einem aus Kunststoff bestehenden Gegenstand zu vergrößern, ist bevorzugt der eine Flächenbereich eines solchen Gegenstands, auf den das Etikett aufzukleben ist, durch Beflammung oder Coronaentladung vorbehandelt.
  • Aus der Waschflüssigkeit ist der Klebstoff besonders einfach zu entfernen, wenn die Waschflüssigkeit aus basische Zusätze wie NaOH, NH4Cl, NH3 enthaltendem Wasser besteht und wenn der Klebstoff aus einem Material besteht, das - in der Waschflüssigkeit gelöst - durch Neutralisation der basischen Zusätze in der Wasch flüssigkeit ausfällbar ist.
  • Besonders hat sich dabei ein Klebstoff bewährt, der als Basismaterial ein Polymethylmetacrylat aufweist.
  • Eine besonders gute Haftung des Klebstoffs an der Unterseite des Etiketts erhält man, wenn der Klebstoff über eine Primerschicht (Haftvermittlerschicht) an der Unterseite des Etiketts haftet.
  • Je nach den Bedingungen, unter denen das Entfernen des Etiketts vom Gegenstand mittels der Waschflüssigkeit erfolgt, liegen die unterspülbaren Zonen im Randbereich des Etiketts und/oder zwischen Bereichen der Haftklebstoffschicht.
  • Will man einen aus Kunststoff bestehenden Gegenstand, der mit einem Etikett genannter Art versehen ist, zusammen mit dem Etikett etwa nach Granulieren wiederaufbereiten, um etwa den Kunststoff rückzugewinnen, so hat das Etikett bevorzugt den gleichen MFI-Schmelzindex wie der Kunststoff des Gegenstands.
  • Die Erfindung wird im folgenden an einem Ausführungsbeispiel unter Hinweis auf die beigefügten Zeichnungen erläutert.
  • Fig. 1 zeigt einen Querschnitt eines Etiketts auf einem Träger.
  • Fig. 2 zeigt eine Ansicht des von dem Träger gelösten Etiketts nach Fig. 1 von unten.
  • Der Träger 1 des Etiketts besteht aus einem weißen Kraftpapier einer Stärke von 60 - 74 g/qm, insbesondere 67 g/qm. Auf dem Träger 1 haftet über einen PE-Film 10 eine Silikonschicht 2. Auf der Silikonschicht 2 haftet ablösbar eine Haftklebstoffschicht 3 an der Unterseite eines Folienverbunds 12. Die Stärke der Haftklebstoffschicht 3 beträgt 12 - 24 µ, bevorzugt 18 µ. Die Stärke des Folienverbunds 12 beträgt 20 - 120 µ, besser 30 - 50 µ, bevorzugt 40 µ.
  • Der Folienverbund 12 besteht aus einer weißen, Vakuolen enthaltenden, biaxial gereckten PP-Folie 5 zwischen zwei weißen, biaxial gereckten, keine Vakuolen enthaltenden PP-Folien 4, 6. Die Vakuolen in der Folie 5 können dadurch erzeugt werden, daß das PP im flüssigen Zustand, bevor aus ihm durch Auspressen aus einer Düse eine Folie gebildet wird, mit feingemahlener Kreide versetzt wird. Beim biaxialen Recken bilden sich dann die Vakuolen. Auf der Oberseite der Folie 6 befindet sich ein Aufdruck 7. Dieser Aufdruck 7 ist von einer durchsichtigen Folie 9 abgedeckt, die mittels eines Kaschierklebstoffs auf den Aufdruck 7 und die freien Bereiche der Folie 6 aufgeklebt wird. Die Folie 9 hat eine Stärke von 8 - 16 µ, bevorzugt 12 µ, und besteht aus biaxial gerecktem PP.
  • Die Haftklebstoffschicht 3 ist in drei Bereiche 3a, 3b, 3c unterteilt, die durch klebstoffreie Zonen 14, 16 voneinander getrennt sind. Die klebstoffreien Zonen 14, 16 sind streifenförming und münden in einer klebstoffreien Zone 18, die die Bereiche 3a, 3b, 3c in Form eines Streifens umschließt.

Claims (14)

  1. Etikett, dessen Unterseite mittels einer auf seiner Unterseite befindlichen, in einer Waschflüssigkeit im wesentlichen voll löslichen Haftklebstoffschicht (3) auf einen Gegenstand zu kleben ist,
    dadurch gekennzeichnet,
    daß die Haftklebstoffschicht (3) die Unterseite des Etiketts unter Freilassung unterspülbarer Zonen (14, 16, 18) bedeckt.
  2. Etikett nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es aus einem einen Kunststoffolienverbund (12) enthaltenden, nach seinem Ablösen von dem Gegenstand wiederaufbereitbaren Verbundmaterial besteht.
  3. Etikett nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß sich auf seiner Oberseite ein Aufdruck (7) befindet, der von einer mittels eines Kaschierklebstoffs (8) aufgeklebten, durchsichtigen Kunststoffolie (9) abgedeckt ist.
  4. Etikett nach Anspruch 2 oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Kunststoffolienverbund (12) eine Vakuolen enthaltende Kunststoffolie - insbesondere PP-Folie - zwischen zwei keine Vakuolen enthaltenden Kunststoffolien (4, 6) - insbesondere PP-Folien - aufweist.
  5. Etikett nach Anspruch 2 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß wenigstens eine der Kunststoffolien (4, 5, 6, 9) biaxial gereckt ist.
  6. Etikett nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es sich vor seinem Aufkleben auf den Gegenstand ablösbar auf einem wiederaufbereitbaren Trägermaterial befindet.
  7. Etikett nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Trägermaterial (1, 2, 10) als Unterlage ein Kraftpapier (1) aufweist, auf dem über einen PE-Film (10) eine Silikonschicht (2) haftet.
  8. Etikett nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Oberflächenbereich eines aus Kunststoff bestehenden Gegenstands, auf den das Etikett aufzukleben ist, durch Beflammung oder Coronaentladung vorbehandelt ist.
  9. Etikett nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Waschflüssigkeit aus basische Zusätze wie NaOH, NH4Cl, NH3 enthaltendem Wasser besteht und daß der Klebstoff der Haftklebstoffschicht (3) aus einem Material besteht, das - in der Waschflüssigkeit gelöst - durch Neutralisation der basischen Zusätze ausfällbar ist.
  10. Etikett nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Klebstoff der Haftklebstoffschicht (3) als Basismaterial ein Polymethylmethacrylat aufweist.
  11. Etikett nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Klebstoff der Haftklebstoffschicht (3) über eine Primerschicht (Haftvermittlerschicht) an der Unterseite des Etiketts haftet.
  12. Etikett nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß unterspülbare Zonen (18) im Randbereich des Etiketts liegen.
  13. Etikett nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß unterspülbare Zonen (14, 16) zwischen Bereichen (3a, 3b, 3c) der Haftklebstoffschicht (3) liegen.
  14. Etikett, insbesondere nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß es den gleichen MFI-Schmelzflußindex wie der Gegenstand aus Kunststoff hat.
