Definitions

  • the invention relates to a parachute according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the roof skin consists of a coherent cover which has been formed by sewing together or welding individual sections together.
  • the disadvantage here is that the assembly of the coherent roof skin is very difficult, and the larger the screen, the more difficult. With the size of the screen, the risk of damage to parts of the roof skin also increases, and it is then also difficult to simply repair such a roof skin, since the entire roof skin has to be dismantled and reassembled.
  • Such a roof skin is fastened to the roof bars at several points along the roof bars, for example by means of tapes sewn onto the roof skin, which are looped around the roof bars.
  • the object of the invention is to design a parachute of the type mentioned in the introduction in such a way that the disadvantages mentioned are avoided.
  • the roof skin is formed from mutually independent sections, which in turn have piping on the sides facing the roof poles and are arranged in longitudinal grooves in the roof poles by means of these, the longitudinal grooves have narrowed opening slots, there are very significant advantages over the known standing umbrella.
  • the assembly of such a roof skin is made considerably easier, since only a few are left Sections are to be handled, which are relatively small in area and moreover can be arranged or fastened in a simple manner in the longitudinal grooves.
  • This fastening of the sections can take place both at the factory and at the place of use of the parachute.
  • damaged sections of the roof skin can be replaced just as easily and easily.
  • there is also a substantial improvement of the parachute against wind attack since the individual sections are guided or fastened over the entire length of the roof poles, whereby the resilience of the parachute against high wind speeds is significantly improved.
  • the lateral arrangement of the longitudinal grooves mechanically offers a more favorable force application and better protection of the longitudinal groove and the piping arranged therein against the ingress of moisture and dirt.
  • securing the sections of the roof skin on the roof poles such as separate clamping means, clamping devices and the like.
  • Claim 6 describes a particularly simple type of fastening.
  • the piping can form a bead-like hem of the sections. It is particularly useful if the parachute is designed according to claim 7, since with such umbrellas, the thread courses of the sections do not take place parallel to the roof poles, but at an angle to them, so that tensile forces can be absorbed by the tensile stabilizing straps in order to warp the material of the To prevent section.
  • the stabilizing straps can also be integrated in the piping.
  • the stabilizing tapes can be plastic or metal foils.
  • an embodiment according to claim 8 is advantageous in order to be able to absorb the tensions in the section and to keep them free of distortion.
  • Figure 2 shows the outer end of a roof rod of the screen of Figure 1 in a side view
  • FIG. 3 shows the end of the roof pole according to Figure
  • Figure 4 shows a further roof bar with lying longitudinal grooves in cross section
  • Figure 5 shows a further roof bar with an overhead longitudinal groove in cross section
  • Figure 6 shows another section with piping in a graphical representation.
  • FIG. 1 shows a parachute which has a canopy 4 anchored in a stand 2, to which a canopy 6 is attached.
  • the latter consists of a crown 8, on which roof rods 10 are articulated, which are supported by support struts 12 on a rotor 14 which can be displaced on the umbrella pole 4.
  • each piping 24 is formed from a stabilizing tape 26 which is bonded to the material web 28 of a section on both sides, for example by means of a seam 30 or otherwise, for example by gluing or Welding is connected.
  • the stable Isticiansband 26 thus forms a hemstitch 32, in which a circular insert 34, for example a cord is arranged.
  • the section is inserted by means of the welt 24 into the longitudinal groove 18 or 20 of the roof rod 10 and is held there transversely to the direction of the longitudinal groove.
  • the stabilizing band 26 is tensile stable and consists of a fabric, the warp threads 36 or the weft threads 37 being aligned parallel to the roof rod 10 or the piping 24.
  • the stabilizing band 26 thus also serves to stabilize the material web 28 of the sections 16 lf 162 in which the warp threads 38 or weft threads 40 run at an angle to the roof bar.
  • To secure the section 16 ⁇ or I62 in the longitudinal grooves 18, 20 of the roof rod 10 are clamping screws 42 which are screwed into the piping 24 or in the longitudinal groove 18 or 20 at the free end of the roof rod 10. In Figures 2 and 3, the clamping screw is shown only for the left longitudinal groove 18.
  • Such a clamping screw 42 is provided both at the lower and at the upper end of the roof rod 10 to secure the section 16 ⁇ or I62.
  • the clamping screws can also be used to tension the piping 24 and thus the sections 1 ⁇ 16 2 ⁇ of the "roof skin 16".
  • FIG. 4 shows the cross section of a further roof rod 10 -j ⁇ with two longitudinal grooves 18, 20 2 , these longitudinal grooves being arranged on the top of the roof rod and having opening slots 22 pointing towards one another.
  • FIG. 5 shows a third roof bar 10 2 / which has only a longitudinal groove 44 on the upper side, which together with the opening slot 22 2 is dimensioned such that it can accommodate two piping of adjacent sections of the roof skin.
  • FIG. 6 shows a further embodiment of the edge of a section I62 of the roof skin.
  • a U-shaped piping 46 with a bead-like hem 48 surrounds the edge of the section 16 2 and is connected with its legs 50, 52 to the material web 28, for example by gluing, welding or by means of seams 54.
  • a stabilizing band 56 is arranged and fastened between a leg 50 and the material web 28, the weft threads 58 or warp threads 60 of which lie parallel to the piping 46 or edge of the material web 28 and parallel to the edge of the material web 28 or piping 46 can absorb tensile forces to keep section I62 tensioned in a roof pole.
  • the stabilizing band 56 can be connected to the material web 28 of the section 16 2 via a further seam 62 or by other means such as gluing or welding.
