Definitions

  • the invention relates to a substructure for a track for rail vehicles running at the same height as individual traffic or laid in tunnels, the rails forming the track being supported with their lateral boundary surfaces located below the rail head via elastic intermediate layers against the inner lateral boundary surfaces of a frame and thereby are mounted so elastically that they move over a spring travel of at least 3 mm when loaded by a rail vehicle traveling over them.
  • a rail mounting is known from WO-A-8 912 140.
  • Tracks running at the same height as private traffic are generally laid on packing layers, grit or compacted and possibly solidified soil or on concrete slabs that lie directly on the ground (DE-OS 29 01 283, DE-OS 23 54 958) while tracks running in tunnels are often laid over gravel. Both the soil and the ballast or the packing layers or the like are elastic within certain limits and thus form a spring which causes a slight damping of structure-borne noise.
  • the superimposition of the natural frequency of the elastic mounting of the rail and the natural frequency of the second spring formed by the soil or the ballast or the packing layer or the like is particularly disadvantageous when the rails forming the track are elastically supported such that they move over a spring travel of at least 3 mm when loaded by a rail vehicle traveling over it. Undesired resonances can occur with such elastically mounted rails, which provide particularly good damping of structure-borne noise.
  • the invention is based on the object of designing the substructure mentioned at the outset in such a way that the transmission of vibrations from the rails to the ground or the ballast or the packing layers or the like is excluded.
  • the substructure Due to the design of the substructure according to the invention, the substructure has such a large bending moment that there is no or negligible deflection of the substructure and the support forming a spring is therefore switched off.
  • the support provided under the rail is formed by a U-profile which is open at the bottom.
  • the support provided under the rail is formed by a T-profile, the flange of the T-profile running horizontally and facing the rail.
  • the two aforementioned embodiments of the invention are particularly suitable for tracks laid on ballast, packing layers or the like; however, they can also be used for tracks laid directly on the ground.
  • the support provided under the rail is formed by a double-T profile, the flanges of the double-T profile running horizontally.
  • This embodiment of the invention is particularly suitable for tracks laid directly or via a concrete slab on the ground.
  • the support provided under the rail must be more resistant to bending, the softer the substrate, an increase in the bending stiffness of the support can be achieved according to the invention by the support being filled or underfilled with concrete.
  • the carrier is formed by prefabricated concrete parts, the height of the prefabricated concrete parts at least corresponding to their width in a development of the invention.
  • a base is particularly inexpensive to manufacture.
  • the height of the precast concrete elements is expediently at least one and a half times their width.
  • the precast concrete parts are provided with a recess on their underside; so that each precast concrete element has two side surfaces on its underside.
  • the entire substructure of a track has four side surfaces, which counteract a horizontal push of the substructure.
  • the substructure according to the invention can be further improved in that the supports provided under the two rails of a track are connected to one another by transverse struts, the distance between the struts from one another being at least 3 m according to a further feature of the invention.
  • the struts do not only replace the usual rail spacers; they also prevent the beams from tipping over.
  • the top of the precast concrete elements is provided at certain intervals with recesses for driving in wedges for the vertical alignment of the rails.
  • a carrier formed by a U-profile 5 open at the bottom is provided.
  • the length L of the legs 6 of the U-profile 5 is adapted to the underground. In the case of softer soil 4 or in the case of a U-profile 5 laid on gravel, the length L of the legs 6 can also be greater than in the exemplary embodiment shown.

  • Fig. 3 shows a carrier formed by a double-T profile 9.
  • a transverse strut 10 is fastened to the double-T profile 9, the other end of which is fastened to the support carrying the second rail of the track.
  • each precast concrete element 11 has two side surfaces 13, 14 and 15, 16 on its underside, which make it impossible to move the precast concrete elements 11 laterally.

  • struts 17 which are arranged at certain intervals A one behind the other.
  • recesses 18 into which wedges (not shown) can be driven in order to bring about a vertical alignment of the rails.
