Abstract

Sa partie supérieure est constituée d'un tube métallique coudé (2) assemblé à une pièce en matière plastique moulée (3) comportant une poignée (30) et une extrémité en arc de cercle (31) reliées par un corps allongé (32) dont la face interne (33) épouse le contour du tube (2) sur environ une demi-circonférence et qui comporte un perçage (37) disposé en regard de deux perçages (22, 23) diamétralement opposés ménagés dans le tube (2), en regard desquels se trouve disposé un perçage (43) ménagé dans une contre-pièce (4) dont une face (42) épouse partiellement le contour du tube (2), une vis (5) d'assemblage permettant la solidarisation du tube (2) à la pièce (3) et à la contre-pièce (4).

Description

DISPOSITIF D'AIDE A LA MARCHE, DE TYPE BEQUILLE OU CANNE ANGLAISE.
La présente invention a pour objet un dispositif d'aide à la marche , de type béquille ou canne anglaise, et plus particulièrement sa partie supérieure servant à la préhension et au maintien de l'avant-bras de l'utilisateur.
En général un dispositif d'aide à la marche,de type béquille ou canné anglaise, comporte un tube métallique réglable en longueur à l'extrémité inférieure duquel est assujetti un embout anti-dérapant, et à l'autre extrémité duquel est solidarisée une poignée sensiblement perpendiculaire audit tube, lequel est prolongé obliquement vers le haut, ce prolongement comportant à son extrémité une pièce en arc de cercle servant d'appui à l'avant-bras.
La partie supérieure d'un tel dispositif, c'est- à-dire la partie comportant la poignée, le prolongement oblique et la pièce en arc de cercle, est en général réalisée en une seule pièce, et le plus souvent en matière plastique moulée.
La solidarisation de la partie supérieure et du tube métallique est généralement réalisée par emboîtage de ce dernier dans un prolongement tubulaire de ladite partie supérieure, disposé sous la poignée.
Cette solidarisation présente des inconvénients, notamment de résistance à l'effort, cette résistance étant étroitement liée à la résistance de la matière plastique employée et à l'épaisseur de la partie tubulaire réalisée dans cette matière, en sorte que de tels dispositifs d'aide à la marche comportent une indication de poids limite, qui est généralement de l'ordre de 90 kg.
En effet, les efforts auxquels sont soumis ces dispositifs d'aide à la marche ne se situent pas toujours dans l'axe du tube, et il peut s'ensuivre un effet de cisaillement au niveau du raccordement de ce dernier et de la partie supérieure en matière plastique ; d'autre part un effort violent peut entraîner la séparation de la partie en arc de cercle servant d'appui à l'avant-bras. Pour pallier cet inconvénient, on a proposé de renforcer la liaison entre la partie supérieure et la partie en arc de cercle par un apport de matière, toutefois cette façon de procéder présente l'inconvénient d'augmenter le poids et le coût du dispositif. On a également proposé de réaliser la pièce supérieure entièrement en acier, ce qui lui confère une grande résistance mais augmente considérablement le poids du dispositif ainsi réalisé.
La présente invention permet de remédier à ces divers inconvénients des dispositifs connus en proposant un dispositif d'aide à la marche qui présente une résistance à l'effort supérieure à celle des dispositifs existants tout en offrant un aspect esthétique amélioré.
Le dispositif d'aide à la marche objet de la présente invention comporte, selon une première caractéristique, un tube métallique supérieur coudé dans la partie inférieure duquel coulisse un tube inférieur, en vue du réglage en longueur dudit dispositif, ledit tube supérieur se prolongeant jusqu'à l'extrémité supérieure du dispositif, c'est-à-dire jusqu'à la partie servant à l'appui brachial.
Selon une seconde caractéristique de l'invention, la partie servant à l'appui brachial, ainsi que la poignée, sont réalisées en une seule pièce en matière plastique rigide moulée qui est rapportée sur la partie supérieure du tube coudé.
Le positionnement de la poignée peut être variable,soit au niveau du coude du tube, soit au dessus, sur sa partie oblique, soit encore au-dessous, sur sa partie droite.
La pièce en matière plastique moulée du dispositif selon l'invention comporte une poignée et une partie en arc de cercle reliées par un corps allongé dont la face interne, en contact avec le tube coudé, épouse le contour de celui-ci sur environ une demi-circonférence.
Ladite pièce en matière plastique moulée est solidarisée au tube coudé par tout moyen approprié, tel qu'un système vis-écrou, étant à cet effet associée à une contre-pièce incurvée disposée sur l'autre demicirconférence du tube, les trois pièces en cause étant percées d'orifices disposés en regard les uns des autres.
L'emplacement de la contre-pièce peut être variable, mais il est avantageux de la placer au plus près de la poignée et même en regard de celle-ci, et d'utiliser une vis qui peut être introduite profondément dans la poignée, qui comporte à cet effet une réserve pleine de matière permettant un bon ancrage de la vis et augmentant la résistance au cisaillement de la poignée.
L'extrémité supérieure de la pièce en matière plastique comprend un élément d'obturation qui est introduit dans le tube coudé et participe ainsi au maintien de la partie supérieure de ladite pièce sur ledit tube, tandis que la partie en arc de cercle servant d'appui brachial peut prendre différentes formes et dimensions.
Le dispositif d'aide à la marche objet de la présente invention présente une résistance à l'effort supérieure a celle des dispositifs existants, en raison du mode d'assemblage du tube et de la partie de préhension, et il permet d'autre part la réalisation de formes dont l'esthétique est nouvelle.
Les avantages et les caractéristiques de la présente invention ressortiront plus clairement de la description qui suit et qui se rapporte au dessin annexé, lequel en représente divers modes de réalisation non limitatifs.
Dans le dessin annexé :
la figure 1 représente une vue en coupe verticale de la partie supérieure d'un premier mode de réalisation d'un dispositif d'aide à la marche selon l'invention.
- la figure 2 représente une vue de profil d'un second mode de réalisation d'un tel dispositif.
- la figure 3 représente une vue en coupe verticale d'un troisième mode de réalisation du dispositif selon l'invention. Si on se réfère à la figure 1 on peut voir qu'un dispositif d'aide à la marche 1 selon l'invention comprend un tube supérieur 2 comportant un coude 20, sur lequel est assujettie une pièce 3 en matière plastique moulée comportant à sa base et sensiblement perpendiculairement une poignée 30 et à son extrémité supérieure une partie en arc de cercle 31 servant d'appui brachial.
La poignée 30 et la partie arquée 31 sont reliées par un corps allongé 32 dont la face interne 33 épouse la forme du tube 2 du coude 20 jusqu'à son extrémité 21.
Le corps allongé 32 comporte à son extrémité supérieure, en arrière de la partie arquée 31, un élément 34 en forme de bouchon adapté aux dimensions intérieures du tube 2, dans l'extrémité 21 duquel il est introduit, 0 solidarisant ainsi partiellement la pièce 3 au tube 2.
A courte distance au-dessus du coude 20 le tube 2 est percé de deux orifices diamétralement opposés 22 et 23 en regard desquels sont disposés, d'une part un orifice 37 percé dans le corps 32 de la pièce 3, et d'autre part un orifice 43 percé dans une contre-pièce 4 dont une face 42 épouse partiellement le contour du tube 2, ces trois pièces étant solidarisées par vissage au moyen d'une vis 5 d'assemblage.
Si on se réfère à la figure 2, on peut voir que dans ce mode de réalisation la contre-pièce 4 est disposée en regard de la poignée 30,1a vis 5 étant vissée dans le matériau constituant ladite poignée 30, qui comporte à son extrémité en contact avec le tube 2 une réserve pleine de matière, non visible sur la figure, permettant l'ancrage de la vis 5.
Si on se réfère à la figure 3, on peut voir que dans ce mode de réalisation la face interne 33 de la pièce 3 comporte une excroissance 34 qui est percée, centralement et perpendiculairement à l'axe longitudinal de la pièce 3, d'un orifice 35, et qui est introduite dans un orifice 22 pratiqué dans le tube 2. Un second orifice 23, diamétralement opposé à l'orifice 22, est pratiqué dans le tube 2 en vue d'abriter l'excroissance 40, semblable à l'excroissance 34 de la pièce 3, d'une contre-pièce 4.
Cette contre-pièce 4 comporte une face 42 épousant partiellement le contour du tube 2 , et l'excroissance 40 est percée centralement d'un orifice 41.
L'assemblage de la pièce 3 et de la contre-pièce 4 sur le tube 2 est réalisé au moyen d'une vis 5 introduite dans les orifices 35 et 41 et traversant le tube 2 par ses orifices 22 et 23, associée à un écrou 51.
On constate que dans ce mode de réalisation le moyen d'assemblage que constituent les excroissances 34 et 40 des pièces 3 et 4 et les orifices 22 et 23 du tube 2, est positionné sensiblement au niveau du milieu de la pièce 3, mais cet emplacement peut être différent.
Dans tous les modes de réalisation qui viennent d'être décrits, la partie supérieure 36 de la poignée 30 peut être amovible, ce qui permet son remplacement, et elle peut être réalisée en un matériau souple, de type mousse, augmentant le confort d'utilisation du dispositif.
Il va de soi que la présente invention ne saurait être limitée à la description qui précède de certains de ses modes de réalisation, susceptibles de subir des modifications sans pour autant sortir du cadre de l'invention.

Claims

REVENDICATIONS
1) Dispositif d'aide à la marche, de type béquille ou canne anglaise, caractérisé en ce que sa partie supérieure est constituée d'un tube métallique coudé (2) assemblé à une pièce en matière plastique moulée (3) comportant une poignée (30) et une extrémité en arc de cercle (31) reliées par un corps allongé (32) dont la face interne (33) épouse le contour du tube (2) sur environ une demi-circonférence et qui comporte un perçage (37) disposé en regard de deux perçages (22, 23) diamétralement opposés ménagés dans le tube (2), en regard desquels se trouve disposé un perçage (43) ménagé dans une contre-pièce (4) dont une face (42) épouse partiellement le contour du tube (2), une vis ( 5) d'assemblage permettant la solidarisation du tube (2) à la pièce (3) et à la contre-pièce (4).
2) Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la contre-pièce (4) est positionnée sensiblement au niveau du milieu de la pièce (3), la vis (5) étant associée à un écrou (51).
3) Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la contre-pièce (4) est positionnée en regard de la poignée (30), la vis (5) étant vissée dans le matériau constituant ladite poignée (30), qui comporte à son extrémité en contact, avec le tube (2) une réserve pleine dudit matériau.
4) Dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que le corps allongé (32) de la pièce (3) comporte une excroissance (34) introduite dans un orifice
(22) pratiqué dans le tube (2) et percée centralement d'un orifice (35) destiné à venir en regard d'un orifice (41) percé centralement dans une excroissance semblable (40) faisant saillie à la face interne d'une contre-pièce (4) et introduite dans un orifice (23) pratiqué dans le tube (2) à l'opposé diamétral de l'orifice (22), l'assemblage de la pièce (3) et de la contre-pièce (4) sur le tube (2) étant réalisé au moyen d'une vis (5).
