Claims (7)

  1. Procédé pour former un flasque annulaire (13) à partir d'une longueur de bande métallique (1) par cintrage de la bande, comprenant les étapes consistant à maintenir la bande (1) sous une forme cylindrique à l'aide d'un moyen de maintien (5, 10) et à cintrer une partie marginale de la bande maintenue dans ladite forme cylindrique de manière à former ledit flasque annulaire (13), caractérisé par le fait que ledit moyen de maintien comporte une rainure (10) en spirale, et que l'on effectue ledit maintien en amenant la bande jusqu'à un endroit dans la rainure en spirale où la bande forme un cercle approximatif d'un diamètre prédéterminé.
  2. Procédé selon la revendication 1, dans lequel on forme une pluralité de flasques annulaires (13) en maintenant et cintrant une pluralité de bandes (1) simultanément.
  3. Appareil pour former un flasque annulaire (13) à partir d'une longueur de bande métallique (1), comprenant un moyen de maintien comportant une rainure (6, 10) s'étendant suivant un trajet courbe afin de maintenir au moins une partie de la bande sous une forme circulaire, et un moyen de cintrage (8, 9) pouvant être déplacé par rapport à la rainure (6, 10) de manière à cintrer une partie marginale de la bande qui fait saillie de la rainure afin de former ledit flasque annulaire, caractérisé en ce que ladite rainure (10) a la forme d'une spirale, de sorte que l'on peut régler le diamètre du flasque annulaire en plaçant la bande (1) à un endroit de ladite rainure en spirale (10) de diamètre voulu.
  4. Appareil selon la revendication 3, dans lequel ladite rainure (6, 10) est située sur un plateau tournant (5, 14).
  5. Appareil selon la revendication 3 ou 4, caractérisé par un moyen qui sert à avancer ladite bande jusque dans ladite rainure en spirale (10) et qui comprend un élément de blocage (12) pour ladite bande, cet élément de blocage étant relativement mobile radialement et tangentiellement par rapport à ladite rainure (10).
  6. Appareil selon l'une quelconque des revendications 3 à 5, caractérisé en ce que ledit moyen de cintrage comprend une paire de galets (8, 9) entre lesquels se trouve un intervalle de cintrage, ladite paire de galets (8, 9) pouvant être déplacés radialement par rapport à ladite rainure (6, 10).
  7. Plateau tournant (5, 14) destiné à être utilisé comme moyen de support pour la bande (1) dans le procédé de la revendication 1 ou dans l'appareil de la revendication 3, comportant un rainure (6, 10) réceptrice de bande et ayant la forme d'une spirale.
