Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for holding and guiding the fuel hoses of an at least one-pair dispensing system with two disposable dispensing valves arranged opposite one another in a carrier part, to each of which one end of a fuel hose is attached, the other end of which is attached to an upper crossbar of a frame or the like.
- Bracket is connected to the fuel supply line of the tank system, the long fuel hose, which can be pulled out of the bracket for refueling even a remote motor vehicle, is arranged in a self-swinging manner and is guided by means of a slot guide.
- Modern petrol stations for the refueling of vehicles have combination dispensing systems which enable vehicles on both sides to be filled with fuels of various types, although it is not always possible to park the vehicle directly near the fuel nozzle of the desired fuel type. It is therefore necessary to provide relatively long hoses between the nozzle and the fuel supply line to the tank system, which hoses must be able to be pulled out of their brackets and returned again, on the one hand to be able to refuel vehicles standing at a distance and on the other hand to be secured against being run over and other damage after the refueling process has been completed . To one To ensure proper operation, the hoses must be suspended and guided in such a way that they do not get tangled together, that their perfect mobility is guaranteed, the suspension is twist-proof and easy, wear-free removal and return to the holder is possible.
- active dispensing hose return devices are known, in which the fuel hoses are guided over rollers suspended in the housing of the dispensing system, which in turn are mounted on the guides in a vertically movable manner in slides which can be raised and lowered. Retracting springs or weights are provided to ensure that the hoses are drawn in automatically.
- Such an active nozzle return device is known for example from EP-A-0 369 089.
- a disadvantage of this active hose guide mechanism is that the user has to keep the fuel nozzle against the retraction when refueling, that the slide and roller bearings are technically complex, very maintenance-intensive and prone to wear, especially due to dirt, and ultimately very high costs for Create and operate. In addition, given the generally extremely limited space at gas stations, the large space requirement of this known hose holder is unfavorable.
- the inactive hose holder according to the preamble of claim 1 is known, in which no rollers, springs, slides and similar guides are used as retraction aids, but the return process for the fuel hose is carried out solely by the influence of gravity.
- the supply end of the hose is attached to an upper crossbar of the bracket, then hangs single-stranded to the bottom of the bracket and is returned from there to form a loop to the nozzle, which is arranged approximately in the frame at the operating height in a separate bracket.
- the full length of the hose can be pulled out of the holder through the slot guide during the refueling process.
- the fuel hose automatically swings back into its original position in the housing due to the effect of gravity through the slot guide.
- vertical rollers are placed on the sides of the slot guide to facilitate hose routing.
- Each module consists of a self-contained frame or housing to which a front-side and a rear-side support part for the two dispensing valves of the dispensing system are fastened to supports arranged vertically opposite one another on the same axis.
- the already mentioned guide slots for the fuel hoses are provided on each side next to the carrier parts of the fueling valves.
- the modular design, each with its own self-supporting housing and inevitably vertically arranged support parts for the dispensing valves is structurally complex, labor-intensive to manufacture and set up, especially if up to five such dispensing systems are connected to form a dispenser and causes a large overall width. Supporting elements are required for each hose and each nozzle valve suspension, and inherent stability must be ensured for each module. An excessive amount of dead space is being rebuilt, although success has already been achieved by moving away from the active return device.
- the invention has for its object to further improve a device for holding and guiding the fuel hoses of an at least one-pair dispensing system of the type mentioned in such a way that a substantial design simplification is achieved, material and assembly time are saved and in particular a much more compact one Construction than previously achieved with a reduction in the enclosed space.
- the support part of the nozzle is a transversely arranged combination component in the frame, in which the opposing nozzles are laterally offset from one another and are respectively arranged on opposite sides of the crossbar and in the thereby formed opposite each nozzle free space is formed in each case a slot recess for holding and guiding the fuel hose, which itself swings into its rest position, of a dispensing valve arranged next to this free space.
- the combination component By extending or shortening the combination component, it is possible in a simple manner to design a large number of dispensing systems next to one another, for example up to five dispensing systems next to one another in the smallest possible space and to ensure the orderly secure mounting and guidance of the fuel hoses next to the associated dispensing valve.
- the combination component is preferably made of sheet metal in the form of a suspension box to be attached to the side frame supports, in which the vertical length of the slot recesses for the hoses essentially corresponds to the length of the nozzle valves, the depth of the slot recesses reaching approximately to the adjacent, opposite nozzle valve .
- This provides an extremely simple and inexpensive construction of the nozzle and hose holder, which also makes it possible to leave the spaces above and below the horizontal combination component free within the frame and thus accessible for cleaning and maintenance work.
- the combination component as a piece of metal or plastic, e.g. to be designed as a casting in the width provided for the number of dispensing systems.
- a further rationalization can be achieved with this.
- the dispensing system consists of two vertically spaced side supports, preferably in the form of a sheet metal construction, an upper cross member connecting the side supports, preferably in the form of a sheet metal construction, which correspondingly adjusts the fuel supply line to fuel hose connections fastened in the cross member has the number of dispensing systems provided, and a transversely arranged combination component fastened approximately in the middle of the operating height between the two side supports, with laterally offset, oppositely open slot recesses for holding and guiding a fuel hose and their dispensing valves, which are also arranged laterally opposite one another.
- a dispenser 1 with a five-pair dispensing system which has a hydraulic and pump unit 2 for the various fuels, a computer and display unit 3 and a holder 4 for fuel hoses 5 and dispensing valves 6 .
- the holder 4 consists of two vertical side supports 8, 9 which are arranged at a distance from one another and are connected to a foundation 7 or a base frame and are screwed together at their upper free ends by a cross-member 10.
- the side supports 8, 9 and the crossbar are box-shaped sheet metal constructions which form a stable frame which is suitable for being connected to the hydraulic and pump unit 2 or for carrying the computer and display unit 3.
- hose connections 11 are fastened in accordance with the number of tapping points, which are connected in a manner not shown to the fuel supply of the hydraulic and pump unit 2 via piston knives.
- a combination component 12 is arranged to run horizontally parallel to the crossbar 10 and has nozzle valve suspensions 13 corresponding to the number of nozzle valves and slot recesses 14 corresponding to the number of fuel hoses.
- the slot recesses 14 are each open and open at the top and bottom and to the outside.
- the combination component also represents a sheet metal construction represents, which is a substantially rectangular box made of cut interconnected sheets, the shape of which can be seen in particular in FIG. 2 of the drawing. Because of the meandering arrangement of the nozzle 6 and slot recesses 14 next to one another and offset from one another, the combination component 12 is also called a meander box. In it, recesses are provided in the vertically arranged sheets of the front and the back at intervals, into which nozzle valve suspensions 13 are screwed, each of which is a cast part with mechanics known per se.
- the nozzle valve suspensions 13 are suitable for holding a nozzle 6 removably, to which the fuel hose 5 is connected, the other end of which is connected to the hose connector 11 arranged in the crossmember 10 in such a way that the hose is in its central region in the next to it arranged slot recess 14 is guided. From Figure 3 of the drawing it can be seen how opposing fuel hoses are arranged in the device in the rest position.
- the user takes the nozzle 6 of the fuel type selected by him from the nozzle suspension 13 and leads it to the fuel filler neck of his vehicle.
- the fuel hose 5 is pulled out of the slot recess 14, if necessary, until the hose is straightened to its full length with the suspension loop being released.
- the nozzle 6 is hung again into its nozzle suspension 13 by the user and the fuel hose 5 automatically swings back into the slot recess 14 due to the force of gravity, forming the lower loop.
- the guidance and mounting of the hose covers the area of the center of gravity in the middle of the hose, where practically a separate chamber is formed for each hose through the slot recesses 14.
