Definitions
- the invention relates to a method for operation a radio clock according to the preamble of the claim 1 and a radio clock for performing this method.
- radio clocks are generally about Transmitter DCF-77 of the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesweg supplied with a time signal (EP-A-0 258 838, dost claims 1 and 4).
- a first kind the time signal is constantly received by radio clocks and always displays the time received.
- a second type of radio clocks synchronizes an autonomously running, quartz-controlled clock periodically with the time signal.
- Radio clocks work according to the energy saving reasons second principle. Synchronizing the internal clockwork with the time signal typically takes place every 24 hours early in the morning takes place and is independent of other factors such.
- B. the reception quality of the time signal or the strength of interference fields prevailing in the area.
- DE 3 128 895 A1 is based on the Erkenntis that a digital part of a radio clock hearing impulses which generates the sensitive analog part of this Listen to radio clock. Therefore it is suggested during the sensitive condition of this analog part to shut down the digital part.
- a first object of the invention is a method to operate a radio clock that the Operation of the radio clock in an environment subject to interference allowed. This problem is solved by a method with the features of the claim 1.
- Radio clock specify that for operation in an interference field Environment is suitable. This task is characterized by a radio clock with the characteristic Features of claim 6 solved.
- the arrangement shown in Figure 1 exists from a radio clock FU with a quartz-controlled clock QU by a time signal receiver ZE over a Signal processor SP with the received time signal is synchronized.
- the time signal receiver ZE has one for receiving the time signal suitable antenna.
- the radio clock FU forms together with a further device G1 a functional unit, the further device G1 operating states that can generate such an interference field, that interfere with the reception of the time signal or make it impossible.
- Detector DS provided such an operating state recognizes the further device G1 and at Such an operating state, the synchronization the quartz-controlled clock QU with the time signal prevents.
- the detector DS with the time signal receiver ZE connected and suppresses the reception of the time signal, if the further device G1 strong interference fields generated.
- the further device G1 can, for. B. a Computer, a calculator, a PC, a mainframe, be a motor vehicle or a television receiver. Common to all is that they are an interference signal during operation generate that simultaneous radio controlled operation the radio clock does not allow. On the other hand, generate no interference signal when switched off.
- the detector DS supplies the operating voltage UB to the other facility G1.
- the synchronization takes place only when the other Device no operating voltage is supplied and it is therefore in the switched-off state.
- the detector consists of a switch, alternating with the time signal receiver ZE supplies the operating voltage to the further device G1. This measure ensures that the Time signal receiver ZE only put into operation can be if the further device G1 no operating voltage is supplied and this is switched off is.
- the detector consists of a broadband Radio receiver that the of the other device G1 generated interference radiation and from a certain Strength of interference radiation synchronization the quartz-controlled clock QU by the time signal receiver ZE prevents.
- the next synchronization of the quartz-controlled clock QU after a specified Time since the last successful synchronization he follows. It can be achieved that the synchronization e.g. B. takes place every 24 hours. At a periodic operation of the further device G1 takes place then the synchronization of the quartz-controlled Clock QU with the time signal regularly.
