Abstract
Dans un procédé de fabrication sans antimoine d'un polyester composé d'unités de téréphtalate de polyéthylène, après la transestérification, on utilise en vue de la polycondensation un catalyseur mixte composé de 10 à 75 ppm de lithium et de 15 à 80 ppm de germanium. Le polyester exempt d'antimoine obtenu est utilisé dans la fabrication de bouteilles, de feuilles, de films, de fibres, de filaments et d'articles moulés.
