Definitions

  • the invention relates to a gun with a mobile magazine in the handle, a weapon which comprises a carcass, a barrel mounted in a slide sliding on this carcass, an arming and detent mechanism and a magazine comprising a holster closed at one end. by a bottom, a mobile transporter inside this case and a transporter spring between this transporter and the bottom, weapon which has a handle, a recess for the magazine extending through this handle from an orifice loading to the interior of the weapon, a magazine stopper being mounted on the carcass to retain the magazine inside the hollow.
  • the magazine retainer comprises a part forming a button projecting outside the handle, the magazine ejection being controlled manually by the pressure of this button, which separates the magazine from the rest of the weapon.
  • the ejection is then carried out under the pressure of the magazine spring acting via the transporter on the slide retainer in the event that the slide is open (that is to say not locked).
  • the magazine is fitted with cartridges, it is the pressure of the spring acting on the cartridges which abut against the underside of the slide which releases the magazine (locked slide). If the slide is locked and the magazine is empty, the carrier acts on the slide retainer.
  • This ejection is not only not very powerful, but it varies greatly depending on the number of cartridges in the magazine, the spring being more compressed as the number of cartridges increases.
  • the transporter is in direct contact with the slide retainer.
  • the slide backwards unlocks the barrel and rearms the dog and remains in the stop position by the slide stop which is held in the stop notch of the slide by the action of the magazine spring, through the transporter.
  • the magazine is detached from the weapon, the latter is released over a very small distance, in particular from 5 to 10 mm.
  • the object of the invention is to remedy this drawback and to provide a weapon with a removable magazine in which the magazine ejection is relatively powerful and above all practically independent of the number of cartridges still available in the magazine.
  • this object is achieved by the fact that the ejection spring located at the base of the magazine is compressed during the introduction of the magazine into the carcass. The spring is compressed to the maximum when the magazine is locked using the magazine retainer.
  • the spring relaxes and ensures a powerful ejection of the magazine.
  • FR-A-1,427,923 the description of which is taken from the preamble of independent claim 1, describes a firearm in which the magazine can be ejected by an ejection spring.
  • This weapon is however an automatic weapon in which the magazine is not inserted in the handle.
  • the ejection spring is not mounted at the base of the charger and is not controlled by the charger stop button. The magazine is ejected automatically when the magazine is empty.
  • the ejection spring is mounted on the charger and cooperates with a part of the handle.
  • This ejection spring is a pin spring mounted on the bottom of the charger and protruding laterally outside the case.
  • This hairpin spring must be attached to the lock on the charger base. Part of this spring protrudes from the case through an opening in the latter.
  • the invention also relates to a magazine for a weapon according to one or other of the embodiments mentioned above, this magazine being characterized in that it comprises an ejection spring located at least partially at the outside of the case near the bottom.
  • the firearm represented in FIG. 1 is a semi-automatic pistol which essentially consists of a carcass 1, part of which essentially forms the handle 2 of the weapon, a barrel 3 mounted in the slide 4, a sliding mobile slide 4 on the carcass 1, an arming and detent mechanism of which the detent 5 and the hammer 6 are part, and a charger 7 introduced inside a recess 8 passing through the handle 2 and extending from the engagement orifice at the end of the handle up to the interior of the weapon, in particular up to the percussion chamber for the cartridges.
  • the arming and detent mechanism mounted in and on the carcass 1 is of a construction known to those skilled in the art and is therefore not described in detail below.
  • the charger 7, shown in detail in FIGS. 2 and 3, comprises a case 9, a bottom 10 closing one end of the case 9 and held in place on the case 9 by means of a bottom lock 11, a conveyor 12 movable inside the case 9 and a conveyor spring 13 mounted between the conveyor 12 and the bottom 10.
  • a charger stopper 14 is mounted on the carcass 1, at the level of the trigger 5, to hold in place the charger 7 fully inserted into the recess 8.
  • This stopper 14 comprises an end forming a button projecting outside of the carcass 1.
  • This retainer 14 cooperates with a spring not shown in the figures.
  • a characteristic of the invention resides in the presence of an ejection spring 15 mounted on the bottom 10 and more particularly on the bottom lock 11.
  • This ejection spring 15 is a pin spring. As shown in detail in FIGS. 4 and 5, this spring is folded in the shape of a U, the end of each branch of which is wound in a spiral and ends in a part which, in the rest position of the spring, makes an angle with the rest of the industry. This end portion is fixed against the bottom latch 11 using two folded tabs 16 which are integral with the plate constituting the main part of the latch.
  • the ejection spring 15 passes through its end an opening 17 in the wall of the case 9 in the immediate vicinity of the bottom 10.
