  • the collecting trap 16 of the housing 6 is slightly inclined the longitudinal direction, such that the excess paint ma accumulate at one end of the housing 6 and be conducted down into the vessel 17 in a simple manner.

  • the housing 6 contains several sections of t type, each equipped with a spray gun 5 and a nozzle 10. Since there is only one spray gun 5 in each section, the jets 8 will not interfere with one another, which makes more reliable the control of the spray mist. Under certa conditions, two spray guns 5 may be arranged in each sec tion, in which case they are positioned close to one another. Fig. 3 illustrates in more detail another placement the spray gun 5.
  • the housing 6 is formed wit several openings or nozzles 10 for spray painting in different directions. To this end, the spray guns 5 can moved between different positions on the frame 18.

  • the object is a tabletop which is to be spray painted from above. Owing to the sweeping movements of the spray gun 5 transversely of the direction of motion of the tabletop 2 which is perpendicular to the plane of the drawing, a ver favourable spraying result is obtained.

  • the cover is such that only the nozzle opening communicates with the slit 9' when the spray gun 5 is moving.

This makes it possible to spray broad objects the manner shown in Fig. 5.

Abstract

Un dispositif servant à peindre ou coller au pistolet des objets (2), ou à les traiter de manière semblable, comporte un pistolet pulvérisateur (5) ainsi qu'un boîtier (6) renfermant les objets (2) à traiter. On place le pistolet pulvérisateur (5) à l'extérieur du boîtier (6) et directement en face d'une ouverture ménagée dans celui-ci. La superficie de la section de l'ouverture (9) est sensiblement moins grande que celle interne du boîtier (6) qui est perpendiculaire au sens de la pulvérisation et située dans un plan (13) traversant l'objet (2). Seul un écoulement d'air réduit est nécessaire dans ledit dispositif (1) car l'excédent de peinture est séparé par voie humide de manière efficace, puis récupérée par un piège (16) disposé dans le boîtier (6), d'où il est transporté à un récipient de récupération (17). On peut ainsi réduire le nombre de particules de peinture qui s'accrochent au filtre (11) du dispositif (1), ce qui permet de remplacer ledit filtre (11) moins souvent que dans les cabines de peinture au pistolet connues.
